Easy to order and ready to pick up within the hour. Staff helped to carry items to my car too.

We visited the Abingdon Home base store and were met by Ali King. He was very kind and helpful and helped greatly in conducting a sale which we weren't thinking of doing.
He is a great embassador for your store comes across as non threatening, knowledgeable and shows genuine interest in customers.

The products were all ready and available.

Delivery was damaged

I want in to find a Hydrangea for my garden, and luckily for me Debbie was there. She talked me through everything i needed to know! she explained they needed acidic soil ( who knew ) they also need feed to keep their colour! safe to say I felt in safe hands with her knowledge. It is also lovely when you experience such nice customer service. She was such a lovely lady ! Who might I add even helped me tie my plant and showed me the products I needed and helped me do it as I am a somewhat novice! to finish it off I was served by Peter when paying and he too was nothing short of helpful! Thank you to you both as you really turned my bad day around and I left with a beautiful blue plant and a smile.

Peter at the Abingdon Oxford store was amazing, really helpful, answered any questions I had. I was already stressed as my granddaughters grave needed a border due to the gardeners cracking the and Peter really took the time to help me find everything I needed. Great experience.

No Que but still took 30 mins to get the item

Matt Toms went through everything thoroughly to make sure we were completely satisfied with our choice. It is a big decision and we had approached a number of suppliers, well known & private. Matt was the only one who was able to help properly and give me a finite answer to my questions. Matt advised me of different options to maximise the space we had. Totally efficient!

My order was ready on time, which was all I wanted!

The item arrived and the packaging was all burst open, the item was made of hard plastic so no damage done .
The delivery company prompt the huge storage outside box against my outside door which is fully glassed ( even though I was at home waiting for the delivery ) the driver did not ring or knock the door. Only when I heard the thud did I realise the goods had been put against my door. On opening the door the huge package fell on top of me !!! I don’t think I will purchase from Homebase again due to this experience and being charged delivery too!!!

Fast, efficient and friendly.

I have used the click and collect on Fairares Retail Park, Abingdon several times, as well as dropping in for bits and pieces. I've found the system works really well: I rarely have to wait and the staff that I've encountered have all been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are reasonable; items purchased so far have been of good quality. As a result, I'm tending to use this store as opposed to competitors in the local area!

Your worker Peter is what made my visit great. He went the extra mile to help me, getting my extremely heavy order into my car. Even helped me more after with purchasing another item I needed. He was polite and understanding and incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. Even when my indecisiveness took over. He was calm and took time to stand with me. Peter is what stood out for me! He is a great member of staff
