Homebase - Altrincham Avis 

Order arrived on time, well wrapped and intact.

I did a 20 mile round trip to pick up a garden mirror
When I got it home I discovered that it was cracked and had to repeat the trip to take it back
It would be useful if the products were quality checked when picking

I ordered an item for click and collect, received a text to say it was ready, then made a specific journey to collect it. When I got there the wrong item had been picked, and they couldn't find the correct one in stock. They've refunded the money, but for the time being I have neither the item, nor the cleared funds to buy it elsewhere.

Quick and efficient service

My item was promptly and easily available at the pick up point. The gentleman who gave me the product was helpful and very polite.

Before placing order click and collect online item listing quoted 1 quantity in pack so ordered 6 for two outdoor plant plots. Turned up at store to collect and I was handed in 18 in total! Thankfully she was quick rectified refunding the remaining 12 feet. Confusing product item listings Homebase have online.

There is no packaging for the drawers, very bad service.

Yet again the staff at Altrincham were fantastic. I love going in as the staff are great especially sally 😁

Wow, what an incredible place Homebase is. We are setting up a community allotment and Homebase couldn’t be quick enough to help us. With their generous donation we can start to implement our plans on the allotment. The service I received when I came to collect the donations was amazing, I was walked around and helped to make the most of the funding! I will recommend anyone to shop at Homebase, the staff I met while there were really friendly and very keen to help.

I was in the store to purchase a large bag of compost & some earthenware pots, but as I am elderly I needed assistance to lift the products & take them to my car. An assistant requested help for me & a delightful employee named Jack came to my aid. I was so very appreciative of his help.He was so caring - I couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you Jack!

Quick service very helpful staff

No instructions on key cutting machine. Most of the good stores have automated key cutting machines so I went straight to machine. The guy near the counter was very rude and said "I am not allowed". I tried to tell him and mentioned there is nothing written that I can not enter near the machine so he told me that it is a common sense. I have never experienced such pathetic and poor customer services. No doubt this was my last visit to home base Altrincham.
The lady on the payment counter did not know how much to charge and what was the offer going on. When I asked her she called manager and he put the right code

I used click and collect, my order was ready in under an hour. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with helping me in store and at my car. They are also knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommend this store.
