The lady on customer services was very professional and helpful. She helped in store and then telephoned back with an answer to a further question.

I just wanted to say what fabulous customer service I had from a young man in your Cheltenham store yesterday 19/7. He could see I was struggling to carry my heavy bag of compost so he kindly not only carried it to the til for me ,he also carried it to my car! Unfortunately didn't get his name,but he's a credit to your business!

Very helpful gentlemen, made my first time buying garden furniture a doddle, all I had to do was pay as they did everything for me! Excellent customer service.

I was served by Kai who processed my purchase quickly and efficiently. He asked me if I had everything I required. I have bought items in Homebase before and have found that the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I am disabled and in chronic pain and cannot walk far. I went to the Cheltenham Homebase on Tewkesbury Road to buy some compost and food for the roses in my garden.
I arrived at about 1.15pm on Sunday.
I walked through the store to the Gardening section, I asked an assistant where I could find rose food and rose compost and he told me. I found the rose food, and outside the road compost but it was in heavy sacks and I could not lift those. I looked all around outside and could not find a member of staff anywhere, I had to go back right through the store to the entrance where there was a member of staff called Kevin who was promoting kitchens and bathrooms. I said I have looked through over half the store and had not been able to find someone to help and asked him if he could help me, he said he was sorry they were very short staffed, and that he would help me and he went outside to get a trolley that was suitable for loading sacks onto. Whilst he was outside a young man called Kai appeared and I asked him if he worked on the Gardening section and he said that he did. I explained that Kevin the other sales assistant had gone to find a suitable trolley. When Kevin returned I thanked him for his help but said that Kai would now help. I asked Kai to go and get the sacks of rose compost which were on offer and I would wait where I was as it was not necessary or wise for me to try and go all the way to the outdoor Gardening Section again, I asked if when he brought it back if I could pay and he could load it into the boot of my car and my gardener would unload it. Kai did this.

Hats off to Cheltenham Homebase today. My overhanging parasol had broken. It was just over a year old and outside the guarantee. The hoist rope had snapped. I had seen reviews on their website, showing customers with a similar fault. I went to customer service and had a chat with a manager, who agreed to replace with no questions asked. A helpful member of staff carried the new parasol out to my car and took away the broken one. Full marks Cheltenham Homebase!

I purchased a large planter but upon collection found it had a chip out of the lip of the pot. I spoke with a person in store who found me the same pot without chip lucky I checked before I got home but happy with purchase.

Ordered a click and collect order but items out of stock , manager of Cheltenham branch Nathan e mailed swiftly to apologise and offered to source alternatives in store . After several e mails I chose an alternative which he confirmed he had in stock. Asst manager Ellie had them ready and waiting when I got to the store later that day . Excellent service, they went above and beyond what I would normally expect . Will be returning to Homebase .

Ordered product one evening and could have collected it the next morning. However, I chose to collect it in the afternoon and it was very easy to do.
