Homebase - Derby Kingsway Avis 

The ordering process is fine, hassle free but the some members of staff at the Kingsway store certainly need to remember they actually have customers to serve rather than carry on conversations with family and friends. It’s not the first time I’ve been in this store and experienced this when there are customers waiting to be served. I actually wanted to purchase other items today but gave up and left!

Looks great seems easy enough for tiler to lay both on floor and wall, hardly any breakages seems easy to cut. Project not finished yet but im happy.

The whole process was a disaster. Ordering the item was fine. Money taken straight away from my account even though I was told that this is not the norm. No follow up email was received by me to say that the item was available for collection. Eventually I phoned Homebase to see what was happening. Was told that the item was available for collection. Rubbish service and I'm being kind.

Ordered my Keter outdoor storage unit online. Process was easy, quick and efficient. Picked up unit at Derby Kingsway store click and collect. Was served quickly by efficient and friendly staff, one of whom helped me load the large and bulky package into my van. Very pleased with the product and the excellent service. I cannot praise the staff highly enough at Homebase Kingsway, Derby. RYAN was absolutely terrific this evening.
I bought a 4x4 storage cube and some cube inserts. They were an absolute steal. The cube inserts are £9 in IKEA, they were £7 in Homebase, but currently they have 30% off! Worked out at £4.90. Bargain!
Homebase have some great Christmas stuff in store, everything is reduced at the moment.

We were served by Ryan who mixed some paint for us, he helped us choose what type of paint and also checked we had all tools etc that we needed. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.

At the till there were two workers talking, they were either too engrossed in their conversation to notice us or outright ignoring us which was a bit annoying but fortunately Ryan noticed us waiting and came to serve us and this is why I have left the review at 5 stars.

The store was clean and lots of clear signage.

Timely and first class experience

I wanted 14 rolls of the same batch wallpaper. I live a long way away from my nearest store. So I ordered online to collect. They did not have 14 only 11 of the same batch. So I have had to settle for a mixed set as the sales person could not order a set of 14 for me even though I offered to pay in full before collection. As she could not take payment over the phone.
There is no way on the website to order a same batch for delivery either.
The online mismatch with online and store sales is extremely poor customer service.

Simon Brighton-Knight was excellent in supporting us in choosing the right worktop and tiles for our kitchen. Very competent, explained the process of ordering,delivery and arranging a fitting
