Homebase - Felixstowe Avis 

Great selection of plants and compost easily found the exact compost I was after at a good price. Plants were healthy and in top condition, a little pricey but reasonable for large pots.

Staff helped me load large water butt into car and also bags of bark, all very polite and so helpful. Cannot fault staff at Felixstowe’s store

The booking click and collect items was easy - however trying to speak to Dave at the store was impossible. My husband first tried to speak to Dave when enquiring about a parasol, Dave looked at him and walked away to the cash desk and picked up the phone. We asked another chap who helped us and he was wonderful. I then went to the cash desk for my click and collect items, I walked towards Dave who was stood there and said “excuse me” wanting to ask about how to get my click and collect items. Dave then picked up the phone again (which was not ringing) and turned his back on me. It seemed both times we approached Dave for help, he actively ignored us. The guy who actually did do the click and collect was lovely. We paid for the added parasol with no issue. I don’t know what Dave’s problem was but that was just outright rude. We have now got the parasol home, with weights for the base - we took the display parasol and its weights, as we were told no others were in stock, there was no price reduction and we’ve got home to find the weights are actually damaged. Overall, not great.

The store assistant Dave at Felixstowe welcomes with a smile. He is always willing to help, whether it be locating something in store, giving gardening tips, carrying heavy items to the car, or advice on other services or products that would help my current DIY project.

He makes visiting the store a pleasure.

The shopfloor staff prioritised tasks over customer service, and seemed totally oblivious to the fact there were other people in the building!

Fast collection time - good collection but WHY put a large sticker across the product when it could have been stuck to the large square label already attached . Had to buy lighter fluid to remove the sticker as carefully as possible so as not to damage the painted surface - just think a small amount of common sense could have avoided extra cost and time

Click & Collect does exactly what it says on the tin ... literally, in the case of paint! A great addition to the wonderful customer service provided by the staff at the Felixstowe store.
