Homebase - Folkestone Avis 

Appalling Customer Service, wouldn’t sort out missing items on delivery and damaged items.
Kitchen was designed wrong and person in store who ordered it all missed so many items out.

The lady called Clarice was very helpfull in finding the right size screws I needed.

Shopped click and collect. Very good service all round. Very happy.

Managed to get everything I wanted. Daisy served me at the till. Was quick and efficient

I ordered a couple of pots of crown soft cream emulsion on click and collect . Later looking at the chart in the booklet it showed a slightly different shade to that on the paper sample I'd picked up last week. The assistant explained the difference with the mixed paints and the standard tins called the same. All sorted and after looking at all available colours and manufacturers with her help (I'm a bit colour blind) decided on a suitable colour and she mixed it and sorted out the refund and was very helpful, thank you very much

Extremely helpful member of staff who put my purchase into my car for me. I have mobility issues.

I had an enlightening experience and came out an overall more well rounded individual both physically and mentally. I would advise Homebase to celebrate these employees as pillars of the brand. The pillars in question being both Sadie and Holly.

In decades to come I will tell my grandchildren about this very moment when I acquired 2 small terrarium jars.

Julie at the till she was very kind and helpful. She has advised us that we can collect part of our shopping later. Sammie was a very nice guy who help us to load packages with a floor. Also he has prepared second part of our order. Very professional and helpful staff.

Tried to do the right thing and went to the store to ask them to collect a trolley that had been dumped on my drive and got told by one of the three customer services till women to dump it on the road. Now been dealing with online customer services who have escalated to the store manager apparently. Six days on and no resolution. I suppose they sell angle grinders if needs be.

I did a click and collect order, your website says it will be ready in a hour but it took me to call over 2 hours later for the store to put my small order together, come on Homebase, you can you do better.

I can't say what Homebase & especially one of their staff did without embarrassment, as they say (Anita, looking at you, you angel you! 😇) but as a disabled guy (transtibial bilateral amputee, translation; had both feet chopped off, sepsis) she helped me above & beyond the call of duty.

We recently were looking to purchase a new kitchen with the Folkestone Homebase branch. We met with gentleman named Reece who from day one was absolutely fantastic. He explained everything clearly and showed us a variety of options. He never made us feel pressured and always made us feel at ease. He came to the house to plan and design, he was extremely knowledgeable, informative, and incredibly polite. We returned to the store to view the kitchen he had designed for us and were extremely happy with the result. Reece managed to capture the image perfectly. If you are looking to purchase a kitchen, we would highly recommend using the Folkestone Homebase branch. The kitchen has now been delivered and fitted and we are extremely happy with the finished result. Delivery was super quick and all the items are excellent quality with no items missing. Fantastic value for money.

Had to purchase some new pieces for my kitchen that I purchased 2 years ago from Homebase. I had damage due to an oven fire. Reece James went above and beyond trying to help me resolve this situation, finding my original order to identify the parts required and then to find me the best cost effective solution. The staff in the Homebase Folkestone Kitchen department are always so willing to help. Thanks for your help and patience again Reece so happy you were able to help me find the best solution.

My husband and I had been to many stores looking for the best deal for our new kitchen. We visited the folkestone store and spoke with Reece. From start to finish Reece was helpful, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He done such an amazing job and very prompt with his time lines as he knew we had a deadline. The whole process was seamless and we are over the moon and now we are waiting on delivery of new kitchen.
