Homefire Avis 

The delivery driver rang to say he was dropping it iff. He was not my normal driver so was checking where to leave it. I met him at the door. He was polite and friendly and was careful when handling the delivery and placed them where I requested
in a position I could easily move.

Quick and easy to order and delivered to the door as agreed. The drivers were very helpful and offered to carry the bags across the drive to the back gate.

The coal is great. However, delivered to the wrong house leaving me to carry all 6 bags some 50yrds to my house. Not good with 3 slipped discs!

Excellent service. Kept informed about delivery which was spot on for time and trackable. Friendly driver. Still use smokeless fuel as a tribute to my late father and grandfather who were coal men.

We have been using Homefire for a couple of years now since our local coalman retired and have had excellent friendly helpful service all the way through from ordering our coal to the delivery right into the bunker.

Easy to order. Realy good quality wood and coal. Delivery on time and put where I had asked on line . Can not fault their service and quality of product. Have bought from they for over four years now and will continue to do so .

Great products, consistent quality over the several years that I've ordered from them. The delivery drivers deserve a mention too. They always leave the logs neatly stacked in a sensible place and ensure the back gate is secured after. Highly recommended.

Since 2007, I have bought smokeless coal in bulk from Homefire/Coals2u/CPL. The summer sale was always great value and the coal excellent, as was delivery and customer service.
Sadly, I won’t be buying from Homefire again.
My most recent delivery of 40 bags (from Tamworth depot) had so much broken coal and coal dust in each bag (about 15-20%), I spent ridiculous amounts of time picking out usable bits; and when I say ‘broken’ I don’t mean broken in half but pulverised into small unusable pieces.
When I contacted Homefire Customer Services to complain about the condition of the coal, the initial response was to ask whether I had checked the coal within 14 days of delivery - as if I would have opened 40 bags of coal in the summer to check the condition.
I was eventually offered 5 complimentary bags with my next order of 40 bags, which I declined.
Maybe I was unlucky but I’m not about to risk spending another £680 to find out.
Sadly, it appears that these days, buying in bulk from Homefire during the ‘summer sale’ risks being a false economy and an opportunity to shift sub-standard bags that have been badly stored and handled at the depot.

Good discount for buying in the summer. Prompt delivery and delivery guys were very cheerful, despite unloading 40 bags in the blazing heat.

The quality is always excellent. Have been ordering for years. I am pleased shrinkflaton hasn’t taken hold at this merchant. Will order wildfire coal and wood again next year. Thank you.
