Very happy with this company
Very happy with this company (Chris S). I was with Hostinger for a year and paid in advance to get a good deal. But now they have put the price up to more than £15 a month for my little mini blog. HostXNow is £4 a month on a monthly payment scheme. Their customer service seems very good too.

Can't recommend HostXNow enough!!
Been using HostXNow for a while now and am so happy! I moved from a large shared host, but shared hosting really slowed my sites down. I signed up for a Reseller account with HostXNow and immediately site speeds improved significantly, this was before I set up LSCache. Sites are now blazing fast and getting A's in all speed & core vital tests.
As well as being a super fast and secure host, the customer service is second to none. Christopher is always fast to help with any queries I've had, nothing is too much bother.
Can't recommend HostXNow enough, thanks!

Excellent hardware, speed, functionality, service and value for money. They are very well regarded, open to suggestion for improvement, keeping up to date with the latest software, packages & Litespeed versions. If excellence was a measure of standards Hostxnow would ace it everyday and everytime!. I have being hosting my small website since Feb,btw i was a complete noob when i started out and my only 'teacher' was online webdesign courses and Google, then comes Hostxnow this guys went out of their way to make every scary step easier, they never got tired of my endless tickets, yes i opened quiet a few which were answered on time and the issue sorted out there and there. If you are in Africa and in particular Kenya,don't waste time evaluating other hosting providers,just pick these guys. I can guarantee superb service, quick customer support,free integration of CMS,SSL certs, super uptime and speed, no annoying promotional emails!,and the most affordable price ever.

Hello,
I am unsure which client this is because the review was left anonymously, but we greatly appreciate your review and feedback.
To clarify, we did not increase the price for existing customers.
We did move Shared Hosting customers hosted on SATA drives to SSD Hosting at no extra cost. At a later date, we again upgraded those customers using SSD Hosting from Dedicated Servers to our new Cloud Hosting Servers. Because Cloud Servers are more expensive, we had to charge extra for new customer signups. Again, we did not change the price for existing customers.
Due to your feedback, we have added the old Shared Hosting packages back at the same rate as before at £5/month, only now the drives are the newer and faster NVMe SSD, not the former SATA/SAS drives we used many years ago.
You now have the choice of using:
Cloud Hosting = best for improved redundancy
Shared Hosting = slightly better resources but hosted on Dedicated Servers, not hosted in the Cloud
UPDATE ON 09/08/2022
You may like to know that we have now updated our offerings at
https://www.hostxnow.com/shared-hosting/ - pricing starts at £2.95/month and goes down to £1.91/month when paying yearly, bi-annually or tri-annually in advance! These plans have increased resources and disk space etc.

HostXNow are the most friendly and efficient web host I have ever worked with (I've been with lots of major ones e.g. GoDaddy, 123-reg etc).

Since I moved my site to HostXNow I've seen almost no downtime (this is in stark contrast to my previous hosting company, Bluehost where my site was regularly going down despite their assurances of continuous uptime). Support has been top-notch on the few occasions when I've needed it, with issues being resolved helpfully and promptly. In short, HostXNow offer excellent value and reliability I have no hesitation in recommending them (as indeed I have done personally to friends and colleagues).
Edit: They're still very reliable from a hosting service point-of-view. Unfortunately however, after 3 years HostXNow are hiking their prices drastically (they're now asking for about a fourfold increase - OK, they are offering a "discount" which means I only need to pay DOUBLE instead of QUADRUPLE at the next renewal). Consequently I've downgraded this review from five stars to three...
Edit again: ...but have now upgraded my review score to five stars again since Chris from HostXNow has been so responsive and has now offered a very fair compromise on price. Credit where credit is due!

I would have preferred if you tried to work with me/us on the issue before updating the review, but no problem! Firstly, we did send notifications about some price updates several months ago due to some of our vendors increasing their prices i.e, datacentre, cPanel, to name a few. We also added new improvements and was footing the bill ourselves for several years. To remain competitive and continue to offer excellent service, we had to do a minor price increase here and there, but that mainly affected our cheapest budget accounts created a very long time ago. The change did not affect our higher paid services and plans.
Please remember that you signed up in 2018, almost 3 years ago and that operating costs can go up, and that's without us adding new software or improving infrastructure on our own.
We have made so many changes over the years such as
Switching to Cloud (we don't use old single stand-alone dedicated servers)
Moving from SATA to SAS, SAS to SSD and then SSD to NVMe SSD
Introducing Acronis Backup Cloud, which helps better protect against Ransomware attacks (most other providers only use JetBackup or use other poor backup methods)
We added MailChannels for free so customers emails would be delivered better
We have 24x7 live chat whereas other providers don't have it or say they have it, but it's never online... to name a few.
We use the best of everything hence why sites are so fast and stable! I bet you haven't noticed any downtime, and that's due to the premium setup we use. I want our clients to have the best service possible at the most affordable prices.
If you had the Budget - Web Hosting plan, the cost would be £5/month or £4.17/month if paying yearly (2 months free hosting). You are paying annually, and so the cost would be £50/year, but the plan includes
1 Unique Website
1 Email Accounts
1 FTP Accounts
1 MySQL DBs
Because you are using 3 Email accounts, you cannot use the Budget - Web Hosting plan, which is why you are on the X1 - Web Hosting plan.
which includes
5 Unique Websites
5 Email Accounts
5 FTP Accounts
5 MySQL DBs
The cost for that plan should be £10/month or £8.33/month if paying yearly (2 months free hosting). You are paying annually, and so the cost would be £100/year. That said, I left your account on one of the old pricing plans with a discount of £72/year, which is cheaper than listed on our website.
I understand everyone has different budgets and requirements, and I can see your site usage is low. Therefore, I have set your X1 - Web Hosting plan to be the same price as the Budget - Web Hosting plan price at £60/year and with a 25% discount reducing the total recurring cost to £45/year, making it only £15/year more than when you signed up 3 years ago. Again, we have made lots of changes infrastructure/features-wise since you signed up.
But if you prefer to use a provider who doesn't use Cloud or the other things I mentioned and pay a lower price, and maybe doesn't have as quick and personal support, I will understand that too. I like to offer a premium hosting service to ensure all our clients get the best performance and uptime stability.

PS cPanel recently made their WP Toolkit free https://www.cpanel.net/wp-toolkit/, and while many providers will offer a free Lite version and paid Deluxe version, we have added the full version at no extra cost. But of course, if cPanel ever try to charge for Deluxe again in the future, we would have to pass the cost on.
WP Toolkit is the same used at Plesk as some users may prefer to use it over Softaculous. Please check it out when you get a chance and let me know what you think!
Edit: just to be clear, as I said in ticket, but did not make clear here "A lot of the suppliers have increased the pricing of their software a lot! cPanel increased the cost of their base cPanel license and started charging per cPanel account in 2019 and then increased the price again in 2020. We improved our infrastructure and offerings at no extra cost to our customers, but the cPanel prices they did were unexpected by the whole web hosting industry. You will see plenty of blog posts from different providers where they have mentioned that they had to do a price increase here and there".
