The House Name Plate company was established in 1986 with the idea of creating beautiful handcrafted house signs, numbers and letterboxes. Since then we have sold over 2 million House Signs. We remain a privately-owned business. Over the last 40 years we have extended our product range to include slate, acrylic, brass, aluminum, granite and ceramic. All of our cutting, polishing, sand blasting and laser engraving is done at our workshops in North Wales.

My house number was delivered ahead of…
My house number was delivered ahead of schedule. It looks pretty good. I would have preferred a simple screw through fixing rather than the glue and stud method but, hopefully, all will be well. If I need another such plate, I would use House name plate company again.

Absolutely brilliant!!
There is nothing bad to say about the House Nameplate Company, from first point of contact up until delivery they have been of great help, efficient and professional throughout. I first contacted the company directly through Instagram as the nameplate we had our hearts set on (Premium Smooth Slate house sign 25x25cm) was originally unable to fit our full road name. Not a problem at all, the lovely person at the end of the DM's was brilliant and sent over a draft copy where they had made the text smaller and so allowing the road name to fit on fully. Delivery was quick and within the times stated on their lovely website, which was brilliant and we expected it to be longer due to our amendments. The packaging was exemplary too, a brilliant sturdy bubble wrap pocket meant there was no risk of my new nameplate being damaged by the courier. The videos on the website meant it was a breeze in installing the hidden fixings and then mounting onto our outside wall. The quality of the slate is amazing, natural marks on it give that bespoke feel and the finish of the product is perfect. A huge thank you to The House Nameplate Company and 100% would recommend 👍

In the garden sign
I wanted an unfussy weatherproof, nothing twee or gimmicky sign to put at the front door when I’m outside. What came was ‘perfect’. “Find me in the garden”, in capitals and a clear but classic font mounted on slate - does exactly what I wanted. Thank you! Arrived in four days, securely packed.

Beautiful Name Plate
We wanted a name plate that also included a number (legal requirement for us) and the two hearts name plate really fitted the bill. It's beautiful. We had the gold lettering which really stands out on the dark slate and you can choose from various fonts which, as you click on the different ones, show you what it will look like. It's fantastic quality and we can't wait to put it up.

Ordered grey letterbox, took 3 wks to arrive, just received and very happy with it, read previous review about stick on letters,wasn't sure if they were but I have now been informed that they are sprayed on and I think they are very good quality .Positive customer service during the transaction. Ordered a letter box with house name on, after a few emails and responses of” it should be within the next week “ we finally received it after a month. Good quality letterbox, disappointed with name. Stuck on letters which I could have done a lot cheaper myself

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the quality of the personalisation of your letterbox and feel I need to explain. Typically we spray paint the wording on our letterboxes but this is not possible with the stainless steel versions as the paint will not adhere. The Vinyl we use is of the highest grade and has a 10 year guarantee. I can only apologise for the delay, Our stock was stuck on a train on the border of Germany and Holland due to technical difficulties. Communications we were receiving back were that it would be resolved within a few days and this lasted for a month. It caused us many problems as a company but we are now back in stock and customers are receiving their orders.
