Excellent lawnmower easy to assemble easy to use great value for money

I recently purchased my petrol lawnmower HYM51 0SP to replace a 13-year-old Einhell mower which has been fantastic. I was a bit worried it would be up to the standard. However, I was very impressed with the easy set up and it started after two or three pulls and the fuel getting through. The mower powered through the long grass and didn’t even get stuck on the Mossey area areas that I used to have to push over with the other. I am very happy so far with my purchase and hope it continues to run as well and last as long as my previous mower. I am also happy that the grass collection bin is lighter to lift than my previous machine.

Product lawnmower HYM 430SPE

I purchased my lawnmower as my old one was faulty. So far I have been very impressed although I would like if the grass box was a small bit bigger.

After doing loads of online searching and reading reviews, I decided to buy the Hyundai HYM510SP! It arrived in two days, took about 15 minutes to assemble,and it was up and running! And wow ! What a brilliant machine.

i looked for a reliable lawn mower as my old electric mower ceased to carry on, so by looking through all petrol mowers Hyundia seemed to come out on top.so after searching for the model i wanted i ordered the,hmy430spe model.allthough i bought it on 29december 25 i have just today 2/3/26 and i was very pleased with it ,easy to start very easy to use so very pleased i bought it. I would strongly reccomend to those who are looking to buy a new mower. Thankyou

Great price and great backup from technical department- life tells me if it is simple to assemble it probably isn't but with help from Kieran it was.
Used it today for 1st time and it is great and everything i was expecting. Roller gives it that perfect finish

I found the assembly considerably easier than the documentation provided. I am disabled due to a severe breathing problem.
However I found the assembly very much a matter of engineeringg common sense

After filling with oil and fuel, started instantly.

Used ONCE - hasn’t started since…. !

Followed instructions to clear out and replace fuel just in case. Checked spark plug, emptied the carburettor as per instructions, charged and checked oil and still will not start.

I’m sure that when this works it’s a great product!

Unfortunately, any 3 year warranty is irrelevant as Hyundai seemingly outsource customer support to Genpower Ltd , who in turn use the Jotform platform - all are dreadful!

For example, this is their 3rd attempt at customer support with a product used only once:

Are you able to check the following items, please

Can you make sure the fuel filter is clean

Can you make sure the fuel lines are intact not cut or damaged

Can you make sure the fuel is hitting the primer

Can you make sure the air filter is clean

Can you remove the spark plug and check to see if the bottom of it is not dirty or wet

Can you check for spark

Can you check to make sure the is the right amount of oil in the sump

Are you able to let me know if the fuel is going up to the carburettor?

when you are trying to start the machine whats the machine doing?

Unfortunately, I’m not a Hyundai technician or an engineer, so having done everything possible myself - I’ve given up!

An expensive single cut of the lawn - Hyundai, a brand I’ll never use again!!!

Good service and communication

The mower was ordered direct from Hyundai late Friday afternoon and arrived the following Tuesday morning. Ordering process was very easy and great communications with delivery company. The mower was quickly assembled thanks to the enclosed picture instructions and also a helpful you tube video from Hyundai.
The mower started first time and first cut today which was effortless thanks to the electric start and the self propelled system. Produced an excellent cut.
The only thing that I found disappointing is the large gap on the cutting height adjustment between position 1 (lowest cut) and position 2. There is plenty of room for another setting between these 2 positions compared to the gaps between the other settings. This would provide more flexibility for another level of cut between 1 and 2 and would be easy to achieve. This large gap seems a missed opportunity to give another cutting option.
Other than that a great lawnmower.
