Never had an issue with them until the…

Never had an issue with them until the begining of the year, a.p.r jumped from 29% APR to 69% APR, no warning just hyped the cost, so credit limit of 3k never missed a payment, and they can't answer why the jump, it is a total rip off avoid at all costs as it will cost you in the long run.

Like many others, I was accepted with a £500 limit. Placed an order for £300 and received it. I returned two of the items totalling £180. No issues at all at this point. Few weeks later I went on the app and checked the credit limit which still said I had £380 remaining. I tried to place a small order and order was accepted. Then I receive an email saying credit application denied and order cancelled. Back in the app it now says £0 available. Will be checking to see if a hard search was done as this is not something I wish to happen.
Given the amount of people stating the same thing, the cynic in me would say that they give anyone the £500 limit, reduce it to zero after a few weeks and leave people with a balance that they have to pay and they can gain interest on.
I’ll be paying mine off in one go, closing account and deleting the app.
Avoid.

Poor service

Poor service, no way to contact anyone.
I paid the £5.99 to get it delivered next day and two days later I am still waiting for an update on the delivery.
Waste of time as I needed the jacket today.

Jacamo delivered the wrong size TWICE, and one of them looked like it was secondhand and pre-worn. I spent hours explaining myself via a Chatbot, ChatHuman, and via their "customer service" emails, and they were nonchalant at best.

I had to return items without receiving a replacement (I had to re-order in myself). I would get a refund as standard, just like I would've if I simply just didn't like the clothes, instead of them being wrong (TWICE) and clearly pre-worn by some stranger!

Their customer service was useless and eventually gave up replying to me, sending me a generic feedback form.

They offered "compensation" in the form of a £10 cheque. A CHEQUE! What is this, 1998? They claimed they didn't have my card details on record... despite them refunding me on my card twice! Utterly baffling.

Honestly, just dismal and pathetic and unhelpful. I will never use this company again. AVOID.

Terrible experience - faulty product and non-existent customer support

I am incredibly frustrated with my recent purchase from Jacamo. After a product went faulty while still under warranty, I have effectively been ghosted by their customer service team.

Despite having the item already assessed as faulty by the manufacturer, I have struggled to get any meaningful assistance from Jacamo. My attempts to resolve this have been met with total silence; my emails to the customer services email address⁠ have been ignored for three weeks, despite their initial automated response promising a reply within 24 hours.

When I have managed to get through to them, the experience has been just as poor. Their live chat agents provided conflicting information—including a promise that I would hear back within three days, which was never honored—and telephone support staff simply instructed me to provide a returns number that I cannot obtain due to their complete failure to communicate. Even my attempt to formally log a complaint regarding this total absence of service has been completely ignored.

I am essentially left stuck with a faulty product and zero support from the retailer. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere—this level of service is completely unacceptable.

Terrible service , no customer support.

I placed an order with jacamo a week ago. I placed it with jacamo because everywhere else said it was out of stock. It was advertised (air cooler) next to an advert saying next day delivery. I paid for the item then received an e mail saying it would be delivered from (not on) Friday 26 June which was 6 days later. I phoned the customer support (!?!!?) to be told the same things I could have read in the website. It’s not a jacamo dedicated support number. I phoned again on 26 th June because I had not received an e mail about delivery. This time I was told my order had been cancelled on the 23rd because it was not in stock. I had received no e mail telling me this and the payment was still pending on my bank account. Apparently I have to phone the bank to cancel this pending payment. My advice…. Don’t use jacamo , don’t believe what it says on the website. If you do and you have problems don’t expect support and remember you have been warned. I definitely wish I had read reviews before I had ordered.

Reviewing my account no reason given when asked told no supervisors available
I have been a long standing customer of Jacamo for several years now and has placed an order for clothing for my husband on completion of the order I received notice that the items had not been processed and my credit levels are 0
I phoned spoke with a customer service to ask why I was not able to place order and why as a long standing customer who had not only paid on time but paid well in advance was I declined this order etc

The lady I spoke with said she would check and on her return advised that not only is she unable to inform me why this review of account is taking place but it will take three days to get an answer.

I am extremely unhappy with this action and asked to speak with a supervisor as not happy waiting three days, and guess what no supervisor is available no suggestion by the customer service person that they would get them to call.
I require items I was ordering can’t wait three days I am now reviewing my usage of this company as my money is good in any shop like most people this is convenient not only option
What this show is that Jacamo has no loyalty to customers who use their service and those who actually pay for the items purchased time to move onwards and go back to the shops

What a terrible company

What a terrible company. Paid for next day delivery, in fact i paid for a year delivery. The company didn't deliver so contacred them via their 'chat'.. Its a bot to start with. After about 5 minutes of no answers and going through the process, u get a queue to wait. 15 minutes later somebody asks exactly the same questions as the 'bot' . Whats the point !!! After being told by 1 represenative the old hadn't been despatched i get cut off. Next customer service person aays ' wait until the end of the day as delivery is up until 8pm. ??? Remember not been despatched. After 3 people I request a cancelation of order inly to be told that they couldn't cancel as it had been 'processed' and was in the system. I would have to wait and get delivery, return to them and then request a refund. I was told 3.5 days for delivery as it hadn't been given to the deluvery cimpany yet, then wait 2 weeks for the refund and to top it all an additional 3.5 days if paid by card. THIS IS AN ONLINE COMPANY. Please save your time as if you have a problem forget it

hideous Charges

I always clear my account at the end of each month, however I order Approx £500 worth in April 3 items were returned, I paid what I thought was the balance but once everything was tallied back up it left me a £3 balance I was unaware of this, I got a texted today saying they were going to bring ringing me for "Immediate payment" I check the account to Find the £3 balance slapped with a £10 Fee. Tbh after 13 years of using them they can do one, wont be using them again.

Jacamo run a scam where delivery is…

Jacamo run a scam where delivery is about 4.99 for a week away. They then offer next day delivery for 5.99. They have no intention of delivering your product next day. They let you wait in for a day, then when you try to complain, their procedure tells you that you must wait 5 days before you can complain....after which of course your item has arrived, and they'll hope you just give up. They're breaking the law, specifically the Consumer Rights Act 2015. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY.

Fantastic first time shopping experience......not!

Not a great first shopping experience with Jacamo.

Saw an item advertised online last night. Ordered the product as a first time customer for delivery today. 30 minutes later, order cancelled by them. Assuming this was a systems issue, placed the order again. Again order cancelled.

Several calls to their customer services and complaints team today and now at 5.50pm I'm being told by someone basically following a script that my account was suspended and I have to wait 5 days for a decision because I chose to buy an expensive item. I have lost count of the number of times their people robotically said that they apologise, yet none of them did anything to change the situation.

So, right now, I don't have the item I wanted to order for delivery today.

I have 2 large credit card charges that are showing as pending, not knowing when they will be reversed.

I will have to wait 5 days for someone to respond to me, probably to tell me that further to carrying out checks I'm actually not a bad person, they have elected to unsuspend my account, and will allow me the privilege of being able to shop with them (undoubtedly something I should feel very grateful for).

Very well done Jacamo (slow hand clap). You made a really good first impression😡

Unfortunately, Trustpilot doesn't have the facility to offer negative or no stars, so it has to reluctantly be a one.
