Their installer never got in touch
Their installer never got in touch. Brought issue to their attention twice, and never resolved. Had to find our own installer - frustrating since we picked Jackson’s because they could coordinate an installer.
They never followed through except for sending this “rate our services” email.

Wood shavings horse bedding
Easy to deal with, although the payment system when paying over the phone always seems pretty slow and ‘clunky’ for the Jackson’s staff. Nice easy collection and good value shavings which is very much appreciated in this time of rapidly increasing costs. I’ve been using them for years and have a nice local depot which is very handy.

First rate products and service
We went into the Chester branch where we received really helpful and no pressured help and advice on the project we were thinking of doing. After going away to think about options when it came to ordering it was straightforward and with the delivery date given at the time of ordering being met.
Everyone we had dealings with were very friendly and helpful.

Fence fitted together very well
Fence fitted together very well, the panels to the
gravel boards to the posts. Seemed to be very well
impregnated with preservative, not sure whether we needed the screws.

Very disappointing after-sales service.
Very disappointing after-sales service.
We purchased a new timber gate which has developed a noticeable 12mm twist. Despite providing photos and requesting a replacement, we've been told to adjust the hinges, keep the gate closed and wait until March to see if it improves.
We have also raised the matter with Area Manager Wendy Lawton, as I don't believe asking a customer to wait six months for a problem with a new product is a reasonable solution.
We fully understand that timber naturally moves, but there has to be an acceptable limit.
Unfortunately, based on how this has been handled so far, I couldn't recommend their after-sales service.

Jacksons Fencing - the best
Jacksons Fencing provides probably the best quality fencing available. Whilst you pay a premium price it is most certainly worth it plus you get the 25 year Jackure guarantee. We have very strong winds along the north west coast of Wales but the fencing is more than up to the job.
