Johncowanbaskets Avis

If I could give John 20 stars I would. He went over and beyond the call of duty to deliver my exquisite mushroom basket to my hotel while I was visiting Scotland. When I first opened the box, the heavenly scent of the willow wrapped around my senses and I will never forget that moment.

The log basket is fantastic. Really well made, a first class service. Would recommend and would use again.

Wonderful laundry basket. I love it! Some women love their shoes and handbags, I love my laundry basket. It sits beautifully in my kitchen next to the washing machine. Great, well made product. Hope to last me many years to come. Great service, quick delivery.
Happy to have found this company while scrolling the internet. I have my eyes on other products.
Highly recommended!
Thank you for my beautiful basket!

Excellent workmanship. Quality material, and very tactile. I'm very pleased to have this basket in my home. Prompt delivery, well packaged.

The basket was even more beautiful in person! Highly recommended and I’ll certainly be buying another basket in the future.

I have purchased baskets from John perviously. I was looking for a basket for a gift, it was not in stock online, I emailed John and he responded letting me know when he would have more available. He emailed me once they were available to purchase. I am happy to recommend John Cowan basket maker , his baskets are great quality .

A really beautiful quality basket, with prompt delivery.

I had a great experience ordering from John Cowan baskets.

I wanted to order two laundry washing baskets, but there was only one listed available to buy on the website. I emailed John and he quickly replied back offering to make me a second basket, so that both baskets could be shipped to me from Scotland to England at the same time.

I was a little concerned how my package would fair on its journey to me, but I need not have worried. Despite the box having 'fragile' stickers all over and the box getting a bit battered, the baskets arrived safely as they were packaged so well. The baskets are absolutely beautiful and the craftsmanship is superb. I make a real effort to only buy handmade items of top quality from Britain, and these baskets are stunning, made to last a long time and are exceptionally sturdy. I am so, so pleased with them, they look so good!

I would, and will, happily purchase further items from John in the future. Thank you so much.

As always from John, great service and a beautifully hand crafted basket. Thank you John, I highly recommend

Superb log basket, exactly as described on the website. I feel fortunate to have local craftspeople making quality items from local resources.
Delivery was prompt, and the basket well packaged in recyclable materials.

Beautiful basket and it smells amazing! I cannot wait to use it for the apple harvest! :)

Received the notification that the basket was able to be ordered, did so, and received it within days. Delighted with the product and the service!

Delivered quickly. Quality product. The personalised note from John was a lovely touch too. Highly recommend him.

I was drawn to the craftsmanship and deep traditions of your basketmaking and the hope of getting the perfect garden gift for my sister in time for her birthday. Your ordering system and delivery service were remarkably efficient, less than two days from payment to her doorstep. "Beautifully made and feels wonderful in the hand", said she! Thank you.

Delighted with my waste paper basket. Elegant, well made and strong, and arrived quickly with no fuss

Excellent product, handcrafted and beautiful. This basket is going to be a joy to use every day. Well packaged.

Love this basket and very responsive seller.
Great to support traditional crafts in UK.
I think the handle size and weight on the Norfolk is perfect.
