Beautiful hand-made basket delivered next day, as promised. The basket is strong.

Beautifully hand made baskets, speedy delivery without being wrapped in tonnes of plastic, and great communication. Would definitely buy from again. Who doesn’t need a foraging or egg basket!

Beautiful baskets that make unique gifts - friendly, easy communication every time.

we are delighted with the speedy delivery and the quality and strength of the basket and also the fine aesthetic of the willow colours , great to find a quality basket made locally which will be put to good use

Really pleased with my basket. It was promptly dispatched and therefore received so would definitely recommend.

I bought a vegetable picker basket from John Cowan and I am so pleased with my basket. The detail, skill & workmanship has to be commended. The basket was also sent out very quickly - thank you.

The web site was easy to use, found shat we wanted very quickly, delivery was very quick. What was very good it was made in Scotland. The basket is already in use, ticks all the boxes.

Another cracking basket which arrived very quickly - thank you so much!

Super basket, great quality. Fast delivery and hand written note such a lovely personal touch.

John was quick to respond to my queries about a willow wicker waste basket. The finished article arrived on time and it is a lovely, natural finishing detail in my home office.

I always keep an eye on Johns website to see what he has in stock. When I saw the dark brown willow waste paper bin was back in stock, I ordered one straight away.
It really is beautiful. Traditional in shape, and a lovely deep rich chocolate colour. Just what I needed. I’d rather buy something handmade than mass produced. It’s now joined my growing collection, including a large rectangle log basket and shopping basket, all skilfully made by John. Always arrives quickly, considering he’s at the other end of the country and well packed.

Beautifully made log basket looking good next to the log burner. Lovely!

Great basket. We ordered a very large log basket which was way too big for the hearth. John arranged the return with no quibble despite it being completely my mistake. The replacement, smaller curved log basket, is a thing of beauty!

Another perfect basket - thank you

Great and fast service. Loved the basket
