Are Fluffy trading any more??

I have been with Fluffy insurance for a few years, never had to claim but the app was great and once I used their on-call vet at 3am.

However, for the past 3 months I haven't had any reply to them from various emails I've sent, the app no longer works and the website just says that they are busy.

I suspect that they have gone out of business.

Every month, a payment goes out to 'Insure Your Paws' so I called them today and they said I've been paying premiums with them for years.

I imagine this insurance company have been underwriting Fluffy which is a relief because at least it means that if anything happens, I've still got insurance.

Insure Your Paws seem nice and even though they have put up the price 10% this year compared to last year, I will stay with them for now.

Just writing this review to help anyone else who is wondering what has happened to Fluffy.

Dodgy chinese camera suspect phishing software very dodgy

Purchased a small camera but user guide is extremely poorly written and out of focus and tiny writing words don’t make sense impossible to connect up first QR code doesn’t laugh properly then software directs you to some suspicious Chinese apps asking for card details before you can move further with process and then another app, very complicated set up and just too suspicious to continue scratching my head or waste valuable time trying to get this thing sorted
Other reviews share same concern and gave up with it!
Fluffy pets will do anything but give refund asking for videos of what I’m doing really can not be bothered I have too much to do!
Buy from Amazon not here you have been warned.

Ordered an electric collar for my dog

Ordered an electric collar for my dog. Took me 30DAYS to receive the product. When I did get it I discovered if the electric supply was cut off it just started shocking the dog so the product is useless. The product doesn’t even seem to have a brand. Says it passages eu regulations. I don’t think so.

Watch your billing

I ordered a stuffed animal for my granddaughter on August 18 in the amount of $19.90. The company proceeded to bill me $170.83 from September through November in recurring charges. I called the company and was told that when I ordered the animal I had signed up for their VIP subscription. This subscription cost $43 a month. The rep said I had to check a box to subscribe. So if the subscription rate it would be $516 a year and one asked what it would get me would be free shipping and 50% off on some products.

I told her that as far as I was concerned, I had made a one time purchase. I did request a refund of the $170.83 as obviously I had not used their subscription nor did I ever intend to take out a subscription.

To see if I made an error I went back on their site and noticed that nowhere on the site including their menu bar is there any mention of a VIP subscription. There is no box to check at checkout and the menu does not contain any information on any offered subscriptions.

If you order from this company, be sure to check your credit card statement the following month to see if they have billed you approximately $42.95 for this subscription scam.

Now I just need to monitor my credit card to see if the refund actually appears which if I were a betting person, I’m going to guess it will not, and I will then be disputing the charges with my credit card company

I bought a back up camera from them

I bought a back up camera from them. It was chinese junk and it did not work. I wanted to return it so I called and no one answered. I tried to chat with them and no one responded. I sent it back to the only address I could find. It was sent to Beverly, TX. They replied their address was Dallas, TX. What the hell. Now I am out $27 . I think this company is a scam and should be avoided at all costs.

Complicated and never ending

I signed up with fluffy pet insurance in January but then was covered by insureyourpaws which in turn was administered by Covea insurance. There was no further mention of Fluffy after signing up, and the Fluffy app was nothing to do with insurance. I needed to make a claim which went through Covea and it has been the most long winded, drawn out complicated process ever and I still haven’t got the claim fully settled (4 months later) and I’m still £400 out of pocket after having to use the emergency vet (so far they have only settled the part of the claim that was directly from the regular vet). I am confused as to what Fluffy actually is as it hasn’t had anything to do with the insurance I’ve got, despite originally signing up with Fluffy. And after this rigmarole I would unfortunately not recommend insureyourpaws or Covea, which is what I’ve somehow ended up with. People have been perfectly friendly whenever I’ve spoken to them on the phone, but it’s taken forever, has been stupidly complicated and it’s still not sorted.

I usually stick with petplan who I’ll be sticking with after I get over the shock of this. I did a quote for my new kitten £47 a month for £5k cover and only £1k towards an MRI? I’ll unfortunately we sticking with petplan. I don’t pay that much for a foxhound who’s been known to eat the house keys and my bank card! I’m sorry but that is absolutely ridiculous. I wish you well with your business but you won’t be getting mine

Ive been waiting a week and still nothing!!! I asked for a refund and have yet to receive one had to block via my bank!

Fantastic Customer Service

Took out this insurance after a higher than expected increase in my previous policy, which I understand things go up but too much for an insurance than I had never used before. Fluffy was mentioned on Money Saving Expert website and couldn’t believe how much cheaper my dog insurance would be. Also the app is brilliant as things to help train your dog and also the online help I can access if my dog became ill. Amazon voucher was a bonus and my dog will get treats from that.

Like what we’ve seen so far

Like what we’ve seen so far. Haven’t needed to claim yet but love the features that come with the policy. The fluffy training app and vet chat has been brilliant for the early puppy stages. We received an Amazon voucher for joining and a personalised email from the CEO where he kindly answered any additional questions I had before and after taking out the policy. Best cover I’ve found so far. Really good overall.

Read the small print!!

This is a good app and does have good extras. But PLEASE, PLEASE read the small print and double, triple check you have the right breed before clicking ok. As I git cought out with it. And I'm currently in a claims dispute with them for a change of breed. And them wanting a premium of just short of £380.
I'm now looking for a different cover and struggling to pay for a large vet bill.

A personable business who really seem to care about there customers, I was impressed the away that the CEO answered some questions directly I had around puppy insurance, also offered me 75.00 Amazon voucher for joining and there training app is included a useful tool to have

Great insurance

Decided to change my dog insurance due to ridiculous price increase, came across fluffy and as it was such a reasonable price i decided to try it. Thankfully I haven’t had to make a claim yet so I can’t comment on that but everything else has been fine

Customer Care & hidden extras!

I was shopping around looking for quotes and stumbled upon fluffy, from the start the customer care and service has been excellent! The CEO Paul will help you with any questions before signing up and the customer service team are great response times are faster than any other company I’ve seen in the past! I highly recommend fluffy not just for the insurance side of things but they also give you free access to a 247 video vet and also a fluffy training app!
