I just ordered two purses. They were a great price with 15 and 25 % off. I usually check reviews first but foolishly did not this time! I'm so upset to read these reviews. I don't know when I'll get my delivery but I am not looking forward to it. I guess it's a lesson learned.
Update: Just got my order!!! OMG!!! If my granddaughters were younger I would give it to them to play with. What a scam this is!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM 😤

I wouldn’t even give it a one star. I purchased what was supposed to be a Leather purse waited 3 weeks for it to come folded in a small plastic bag and it wasn’t Leather at all! It was cheap vinyl all of it! It is a BIG SCAM!!!

This website is a complete ripoff. I received a plastic(pleather) bag ,instead of a handmade leather bag, that I paid $48.99. Everything about this website is a lie,” from the Ups delivery” to the “ Junie handmade leather maker .”I asked for a digital return, which was guaranteed, for my ripoff bag,and was told i have to send my “handmade leather bag “back to China at my expense. But they will give you 20% back to “save the environment” and not return. Unbelievable.Somebody needs to shut this site down, before more people get ripped off!

Poor Quality and Misleading Advertising

I’m sharing this as a caution to others — I, too, became a victim. I was drawn in by the story of a hardworking woman who was retiring and promoting her trade, and I wanted to support what appeared to be a small business. I purchased a pocketbook that was priced higher than what I would normally spend, though it was advertised at a discount, believing I was helping an independent craftsperson and investing in quality.

Unfortunately, within just one week, the pocketbook began to fall apart. It was awkward to be on the train when the strap came off unexpectedly, causing the items inside to fall out in a crowded car. The item had also taken more than three weeks to arrive, confirming my suspicion that it was shipped from China — despite the advertisement’s claim that items were shipped immediately.

I’m sharing this experience so others can be aware and avoid the same disappointment.

The ads talk about this nice woman artisan making hand crafted good in the USA and now is retiring. There is a similar ad out there about a jewler. The bag I ordered took forever to arrive. Reason? Held in customs!! When it finally arrived there was a label inside in Chinese! No labels in English so I have no idea what it's made of.

What a scam Junie Boutique is! Not leather. Comes from China. Contact your bank and get the charge reversed! Shameful to rip people off like this. Retirement, so selling things off at low prices! What a joke! Don't get scammed by them! Sophie, from customer service! Haha! Again, scammers!!!

The item was so small and not very nice looking. When I requested a refund, I was told that it has to be returned overseas therefore it will cost me a lot of money so I should take a 20 percent discount and keep the item. Now I have an ugly small purse that I don't want that I paid 50 dollars for. How could I be so stupid.

This company is a lie from the get go. I should have checked with Trustpilot before I purchased. The bag is very poor quality, if its leather I'd be shocked. I wanted to return however the return is to China & shipping anything to there is a monumental expense. I decided to take their offer for 20% & I'll resell being honest. It's a huge bag which someone will love. I'll take my lumps. Never will I buy again without checking them out here. Live & learn. I hope more than anything this review stops someone else from getting scammed.

Like everyone else, I wish I had read the reviews before buying. Last time buying online. They are located in China. They set up website with a great pic, deceiving information about going out of business. After receiving items, wanting to return was a joke. So return policy doesn't apply because they come back with custom fees in which you receive nothing. Craftsmanship on 2 bags was lousy, not leather.

Scam website that I fell for. There is also a site called Karen's Bags with a photo of the same lady retiring from making handmade genuine leather bags. They are all from China.

I read that this site was a scam after I ordered 3 purses and a wallet from them. But when they came, I was really impressed! Quality was very good, and it was real leather, looked just like the photos, and smelled just like the bridge of weir leather in my Aston Martin!

JUNIE BOUTIQUE is an AI design website that at first sight, looks great and appealing. It pulls in it’s victims. However it is fraudulent and full of false claims. For one, the product we ordered was not leather, as it was stated to be. Secondly, there is no phone number to contact a live person. In fact, you have to cancel with in 30 minutes or you can’t cancel at all. They also offer you 10% discount when you first order but don’t actually give that to you. When you ask them to correct that, they say it’s too late.

Their 30 day return policy is also a lie. Instead they make you return your purchase yourself to China. And the customer is supposed to pay for that. They state the expense to return it is 50 to 60% of the purchase price. So they instead offer a 20% return to your credit card if you choose to keep the ‘less than promised’ product.

I only saw the reviews after I sensed it was being scammed! The reviews are terrible as you can imagine, but too many customers get caught in the trap as I did. I have a dozen emails to JUNIE BOUTIQUE where I asked questions that were not answered and the information given to me was often contradictory to what had previously been stated. Their emails are prompt and cleverly written. How they remain in business is a mystery. Do not purchase from Junie Boutique!!

Biggest scam going. The purses are not leather and are not tooled by a lady ready to retire. They come from Taiwan or China not some sweet old lady in England. When I tried to return the purse, I was told what the tariff and shipping would be and I would have gotten back about $9 out of $54.00 Total scam.....

Garbage! The colors look nothing like in the pictures. The people on the website are fake too. The handles were completely different and OF COURSE it was trash vinyl --- nothing resembling leather. Don't even attempt to contact them. The emails bounce. I had my bank dispute the charge. They say they are closing shop to lure you. Don't fall for it.

I ordered a beautiful bag on their site after reading their story, which was a lie. The bag was reduced to $59.00 because she was retiring. I ordered it. By October I still had not received the bag. I went to my bank to cancel my payment after seeing that people were calling fraud about this company. After searching I called them. The person that answered did not sound interested in what I was saying. A couple days later I received an old plastic bag in the wrong color and style. I do not want it. It’s just some old bag because she did not want to give my money back. They are thieves and fraudsters. I am still going to try to get my money back.

Took a month to arrive and you can tell it's crap! I usually don't order without looking at reviews but I did this time. Only positive was the price. I'll just give them away for Xmas.

This is a scam, multiple web sites claiming they are retiring. The product is not leather but some smelly synthetic or plastic. DON'T DO IT!

Ordered a "leather" bag for $59.99. Cheap material and cheap design. Definitely not worth the money I paid. I forgot to research this company on line. Won't forget next time.

Don’t buy. Wish I had found this website sooner. Go shop locally. Walmart has better products. Great MARKETING for a “genuine leather bag sale” and with great photographs, returns allowed. Reality: Looks/feels like cheap plastic, stuffed in a dusty plastic bag, handle was just loosely set over button, and return is within 30 days-to CHINA. IF it gets there timely, I wouldn’t have gotten but about 20% of price paid. Worse, they offered ten percent when I ASKED for return address. I said no, asked AGAIN for address. They eventually offered 20%, all while knowing full well they were USING UP RETURN DAYS and that COST TO SHIP, as I discovered after I finally got the NON US RETURN address, was expensive, more than expected if the original published company address had been in the same country, usa
