Time wasters and discriminatory practices. Refuse to quote if you have an outstanding claim. Even if your are not at fault. Basically, if you are injured by someone else in an accident and your claim is over 75k, they refuse to quote.
Every year I fall for it
Every year I fall for it! Come renewal time I go online to save time. I spend time filling out the Kennco forms only to be told that they won't quote me and to call the office instead. So for wasting my time every year, I go elsewhere and have finally learned my lesson.

I've being a customer of kenn co insurance for number of years with a clean no claims bonus. My usual experience with other insurance companies was for the first 2 years your premium is around the same then for no reason it jumps 200 euro that's not my experience with kenn co its been in around the same each year receive my renewal and am happy to renew so keep up the good work

KennCo lies about minimum car insurance age, Possible scam.
"KennCo insure young drivers from 17 years old and over." and - "Error: You must be 19 years and over to get a quote for our current motor products." Don't exactly go together. Avoid this insurance company. Very dodgy.

What the actual Fudge Cake....... nearly 50% increase
So we've been with KennCo for our House insurance for years !
There have been year on year increases but nothing really excessive !
This year, it's a whole different ball game ! a renewal quote through with just under 50% increase ! I phoned to ask why; no reason: we have changed nothing, no claims and there is always someone in our house etc..... I spoke with a nice lady, Daniella on the phone and off she ventured to see 'what she could do' only to come back and say 'sorry, we've applied all the available discounts, we can't do better than this quote' when I asked 'why?' I was only told ' I'm sorry, our house insurance has sky rocketed this year'
I'm stunned ! ....

Utterly Incompetent & Unacceptable Claims Handling
This insurance company’s handling of my claim has been nothing short of incompetent, chaotic, and disrespectful.
They lost my original claim, forcing me to register it for a second time. For an insurance company, losing a claim is not a small mistake — it is a serious failure of basic operations.
Last week, I was explicitly told that my case had been sent to an engineer for a desktop investigation. I was informed this normally takes 48 hours, followed by up to 10 days for review. I was clearly led to believe this process had already started.
This week, after chasing yet again, I was told that nothing was sent, nothing progressed, and nothing has been done. I was then given the exact same scripted response as before, as if last week’s call never happened.
There is no accountability, no ownership, and no internal communication. Every call reveals that no one actually knows what is happening, and no one takes responsibility. The entire process feels disorganised to the point of being dysfunctional.
Customers are left chasing their own claims while staff repeat timelines that clearly mean nothing. Promises are made, ignored, and then repeated again without action. This is not just slow service — it is systemic mismanagement.
Insurance is meant to provide peace of mind. Instead, this company adds stress, confusion, and delays at the exact moment customers need support.
I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this insurer. If you ever need to make a claim, be prepared for lost information, broken promises, endless delays, and complete lack of professionalism.

Used to be a good company, one I'd suggest to all friends and work people. No longer, they've jacked their prices considerably and have zero respect for long standing clients who have never made a claim. There's better insurances deals out there.

Just got my quote refunded - beware of these guys 'they don't do direct debit' so pass you over to close brothers who sign you up for a fianncing agreement to pay your insurance which is at 10% of your premium

I was having issues with creating a new policy and getting my documents accepted. I will admit the email replies were a little slow to get back when submitting documents. However, I highly recommend calling as it was sorted within 15 minutes. A huge shoutout to Zack for his help getting documents accepted and the disc issued!

Every year my policy goes up in price. I’ve never had a claim or penalty points. Each year they say there’s nothing they can do and come up with an excuse as to why it’s increasing. Got a really good quote with much better insurance perks with OutInsurance.
