Kilts4Less Avis 

This company is an absolute shambles, I have had nothing by lies from Louisa, the MD for the last week about when I was going to receive my goods. They have now sent an email saying they have refunded my money because I swore at them, which is a total lie.
Try doing your job properly rather than lying to the customer, this order was obviously never sent to the tailors!!!

Ordered a full kilt set for son’s wedding on 10 June 24, 6 weeks later after no contact we gave a call for a progress update only to find the company they’d outsourced the order to hadn’t made it. Was assured we would get it and they’d start making it that evening. Again no contact so a few weeks later tried calling, no answer, eventually got a call back to say it would be done and we’d receive it by the end of the following week however they didn’t have enough fabric for the kilt and would I accept a 5 yard instead of the 8 yard, I said no so they said they had a ready made one in stock that they would alter to my measurements, which I accepted as I just needed the outfit. Friday the following week came and still no contact or confirmation that the kilt was complete or on the way (son’s wedding now less than a week away). No answer on phone so we Facebook messaged and contact form on website completed, got a call back to say order would be dispatched that day. Happy to say it was and we received it Saturday morning 24th August, very happy with the quality and the sizing was perfect, just a shame that the process wasn’t stress free.

A bit of communication would have gone a long way, and perhaps an assurance that if the kilt wasn’t ready a hire outfit could have been provided so I had something to wear, I felt that there was no apology or urgency for the dilemma, such a shame as I can’t fault the quality.

I really can’t give higher than a 2 star review due to the unnecessary stress, as much as I’d like to because the quality is great, but sadly wasn’t the 100% customer satisfaction as described on the website.

Absolutely outstanding service and products , Argyle jacket that I have received is perfect , no problem exchanging the first I received due to my error in ordering a size to small . Totally recommend this company to everyone

Received my Ex hire Kilt and accessories today and couldn’t be more impressed. Very prompt service, order to delivery was less than 5 days.

The quality of the kilt is exceptional and a good way of getting a high quality outfit without the expense of buying tailor made.

The socks I chose were out of stock but they were in touch quickly to give me a number of other options and solutions and I decided on waiting for them to be ordered and sent out later which was completely fine for me.

I just got my ex-hire outfit and am over the moon with it. I can't give enough praise to this company, delivery time was fantastic (just over a week). Kylah from customer service was first class. I am now thinking of ordering another kilt. Thank you all at Kilts4less keep up the good work.

after a very good experience with having ordered a kilt, made to measure, I ordered another one, this time pleated to a stripe of my choice. service was excellent, they reconfirmed with me and asked if my measurements were correct to be safe. Production and dispatch were all within the fast track window, received today and quality is excellent. As an advice it's a good idea to also order the kilt carrier bank, then the kilt comes packed in the carrier bag.

Follow their measuring instructions on their website, with video, and it's a perfect fit first time round.

Absolutely fantastic service. I left it a bit late to order a new kilt jacket which was an out of stock size. Not only did they keep me updated, but when it became apparent my order would not make it in time, they dispatched one from stock they had received. Thanks!

I have recently bought a full adult kilt outfit from kilts4less.
I could not be happier with the quality of the kilt and jacket/waistcoat. Both ex hire and if I didn't know better I would take it all to be brand new.
I managed to order the jacket/waistcoat larger than I needed but exchanging for a size down was very quick and hassle free.
Also bought the usual accessories new at very competitive prices. Very good quality.
The telephone customer service is absolutely spot on.
Kilts4less are professionals who know what they are doing.
A very positive experience from start to finish.

Kilt arrived. Took around six weeks, do not worry about lack of interaction it will arrive. Great price and they use Royal Mail thank goodness

Received my kilt a few days ago and was thrilled by the garment I ordered.
I returned an original Smith tartan kilt as discussed with Louisa.

The kilts are 100% wool none of these acrylic imitations and a full 8 yards at that. It was well packaged and didn't take long to get here.

At a time when good customer service is rare Kilts4Less not only met but exceeded my expectations!
I managed to order the wrong size of ex-hire kilt (Too big) and as it was needed for an imminent upcoming event I thought I was sunk! That was until Louisa came to the rescue not only assisting with my initial order but she understood the urgency, provided great guidance in identifying the right kilt and getting it to me in time for the event..
Give this lady a raise!

Good value full kilt outfit but like others have experienced the kilt was so badly crushed that I had to take it to a dry cleaner to press it back into a wearable shape and condition. A box big enough to lay the kilt flat would be an easy solution!

Ex-hire kilt arrived after being delivered to the wrong address by their courier. It was poorly packaged, so was badly creased. Pleats had been ironed unevenly, so I had to have it redone locally. Took the time to let them know about the experience, with photos of the state of the kilt, but got no response. Followed up a week or two later, and got a "thanks for your comments" reply, rather than an apology, with no reference to the issues. Disappointing from a company that guarantees "100% satisfaction" - this could so easily have been a positive review.

Edit* company refunded order amd explained why. While not ideal they dealt with my issues promply to refund.

I placed an order for a made to measure kilt with the description saying it would take 6 to 7 weeks. After hearing nothing for a week I emailed only to be told.thay it would take 16 weeks for the mill to weave the tartan and i should choose a different tartan. I can't choose a different tartan as it's for my wedding and the colour scheme has been set. After receiving several replies in quick succession I asked for a refund as choosing a new tartan wasn't possible. Since then they have ceased to reply to me. Time to contact the credit card company I think as they should state I. The description thats its not a 7 week lead time if the tartan isn't one they stock.

Fantastic service from start to finish 10/10 service. Had a few issues with some items not fitting, called store the issue was fixed within the hour. Couldn't fault them. This is our 3rd time using them, wouldn't go anywhere else

Brilliant service from Kilts4Less, i ordered the ex hire full kilt set, i wanted to customise the order and upgrade jacket set, really easy to do!! The kilt set arrived within 3 days and was well packaged. I needed to change one item due to size change, really easy, called the company (Louisa) who was really helpful. I returned the items and my postage was refunded!! Really happy with my kilt set it looks great, great quality at a great price, brilliant and responsive customer service. Amazing service! I booked next day delivery slightly after the 3pm cutoff and accepted I might have to wait. I got a call within half an hour to discuss my order and the kilts arrived by 2pm the next day. They are fantastic quality for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again

Not easy to return items. No instructions on how to return and no link to a parcel courier service. You have to arrange this and pay for it yourself.

Friendly and very helpful staff, nothing is ever too much hassle
