I am giving a one star because customer service is very unhelpful. I received a tablet with the touch screen not working. Simply took the back of the tablet off to look for damage. Reapplied the back. Customer service said warranty was voided simply for checking for damage. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AND EXPECT HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Do not buy from this company I have been a parent and purchasing their items for 25 years and now my great nephew who is non verbal loves his rock it twist and after barely a year the almost $200 item does not hold a charge and all they can say is buy a new one when I use to purchase items like a leapad I have for over 7 years it still holds perfect charge so it just goes to show you they are declining in their products on purpose so you will have to buy a new one

Don’t use their baby monitors
We’ve been using the leapfrog baby monitor that connects to the app on your phone. We’ve been using it now for about 3 months and I’ve never had a worse experience! The light now goes off and the camera just stops working all the time. We have to reconnect it every other day now and it’s such a long winded process. We were going to invest in more since the first month it was running perfectly but now honestly I think we’re just gonna switch over to a different company altogether most likely v-tech. We’ve used leapfrog for years they’re great when it comes to children’s learn and play toys but would never recommend their monitors.
I purchased a magic adventure…BINOCULARS
I purchased a magic adventure binoculars for my grandson in 2024. After careful consideration, I decided not to give it to him last Christmas - he had just turned 4. This year it was under the tree and he absolutely loved it. He used it non stop and could manage the menus and all of the applications independently. The second day the screen stopped working and he was very distraught. Customer service online has been phenomenal and is sending a replacement.

We reached out to this 'company' and they offered zero support. There are no parts available and since we goofed its on us. Not even a kind word sympathizing with what had happened.
So basically we just blew $100 on a poorly packaged item that we will probably wind up throwing in the garbage.
We will never, ever purchase or recommend this children's toy company to anyone. Stay away- there are plenty of other companies that gleam compassion for their customers. These blood suckers just want your money ...period.
What service?
I am not sure I would call what they provide service. I have been trying to call them two days straight now and ended up submitting the online form. I doubt I will ever hear from them.
Apparently, their support team is busy 8h a day, which doesn't install any confidence if that is truly the case. And I am not sure why this "service" hasn't heard of a waiting line or callback in 2025. You call, wait for 1 or 2 minutes and get kicked out of the line because their team is so awfully busy all day. Ridiculous!

Avoid unless you want to receive crap customer service
The reviews do not surprise me at all. Absolutely non existent customer service. Considering a member of customer service told me to email in a complaint is a joke. They do NOT care about their customers, you need to sort it out. Will never buy anything from this company again!
Leapfrog baby monitor
My experience is in relation to the baby camera /monitor. The durability of this product is not satisfactory.
My first purchase became faulty within the warrantee period. This was replaced by Curry’s retailer who were very helpful and efficient. The new replacement then became fault just outside of the warrantee period (charger cable became frayed and would not charge the baby monitor anymore).
I contacted leapfrog customer services who said no problem we will send a replacement charger to you in the post. I offered to pay they said they were happy to send one. I just needed to email them with the exact model of the device quoting the call log number.
I sent this email and received a reply to say they would not send a replacement charger as it was just outside of the warrantee period. I asked this was not what I was told on the phone call . I offered to buy a charger. There response was we do not sell them and cannot advise where to get a replacement one.
After many sleepless nights not being able to visualise my child & associated safety risks. I have been unable to locate a charger online to purchase anywhere. My father who is a qualified electrician also cannot find a suitable charger.
I believe this is a marketing strategy so you have to buy the whole unit again.
Given that this product was fault twice in just over a two year period and they’ll you cannot buy a replacement charger from any retailer that’s suitable I would recommend not purchasing any of their baby monitors.
The customer service has been lacking understanding & support of this situation. I am willing to pay for a charger but they will not support this. But will send them to you free of charge if within a year of purchase. Leapfrog is placing babies/toddlers safety at risk at the cost of making more money by forcing you to purchase whole new units again .
Please purchase from a different manufacturer.
Worst company for Customer Service
Never buy anything from this brand! The after sales customer service is absolutely awful. I have dealt with a lot of companies but this company is by far the worst! Emails are just going back and forth for over a week now and I'm still no further with my issue than I was at the start.
I can’t believe they stay in business
I can’t believe they stay in business. Website is down and doesn’t show an estimated fix time. I called and the person had no clue, just read something he’d been given. Said it would be up at 1 pst, or 4am ‘local time’. What local? In any case it wasn’t up at the predicted time and the office is now closed. Really terrible.
Extremely dodgy and suspicious. Avoid.
Camera operates without me controlling it, including lights turning on and the camera moving. I raised this with the company and although they initially acknowledged my correspondence they then just ghosted, despite several follow up emails. The product seems very suspicious and I can’t rule out someone having hacked it. However, this would have to be from inside the company as no one has my internet password. Extremely suspicious.
Scam
Customer Service reps are more concerned with collecting your information than helping. I called 3x and couldn’t get any help, just into an argument about providing my info…which they then disclosed they already collected and stored in a file for me. I asked them to delete my info and they didn’t. I have a few leapfrog products but they dont work at all. Just garbage.
AWFUL EXPERIENCE
Had the same issue as many others.
The battery is clearly faulty on the parent screen to go with my camera. Only used for 6 months but due to being over the 12-month warranty, Ive been told that they will do nothing.
I can't repair to my phone. So it's completely useless!
Short working life and unhelpful customer service
Unhelpful customer service. Our baby monitor is dead (except for a charging light when it's plugged on). The lady in customer service would do absolutely nothing to help (except say sorry) as it is 16 months old and not therefore within the 12 month warranty. Surprised/disappointed they had no interest in trying to help a customer.
Poor customer service and build quality…
Poor customer service and build quality of product!
We purchased the 5inch baby monitor costing us £250, after a year the monitor screen was intermittently switching on and off.
We called customer service only to find out there's nothing they can do as its outside warranty, with no repair or replacement offered. Clearly you don't know your product to even understand what the issue might be. You are an American big giant in this industry how is your build quality and more importantly customer service poor!
Iv been told my complaint will be taken to a manager, I heavily doubt anything would happen as I have had to call in 4 times to get a resolution.

Terrible company, no support, updates are 8 steps. Ridiculous, should be an update button. Runs really slow to the point where it can't be used. Do not buy
Bad experience-My Pal Violet
Customer service was poor. I purchased the My Pal Violet for my daughter for Christmas. They wouldn't replace the item when they couldn't help me personalize it. They said they went through their troubleshooting protocol and it was faulty. Not my fault. They said there was nothing more they could do. Never got to give it to my daughter for Christmas. They said they couldn't replace the item.
