Leisure Lakes Bikes - Cheltenham Avis 

We just bought two eBikes from Leisure Lakes Bikes in Cheltenham. They were great. Knowledgeable, helpful and patient!! Thanks particularly to Kyle whose customer service was exemplary!! Thank you guys

Ordered a replacement pad for inside Giro helmet and requested in-store pick up. Confirmation email says the order will be ready in 8 working days, however when there was no call or email on working day 8, I phoned on day 9. I challenged the timescale with the staff member who did not deal with the situation appropriately: no apology and asserting some reason it takes longer when you order to collect in store and that it would take a further 5 working days. I wasn’t in a rush, but it was irritating to have the staff member talk as if this was entirely expected and I had nothing to complain about, even though Leisure Lakes own confirmation email said it WILL take 8 working days, not that it MIGHT, and not that it could be as much as 13 working days. 8 working days is already a very significant lead time and plus they must know what commitment they’ve made in their own literature.

As it is, it is currently working day 15 and I have had no email, call or notification about my order from them … ironically, just an email prompting me to write a review on TrustPilot. It’s a small item I’ve ordered, but the principles of good service should not depend on that. If this experience is anything to go by, I’d think twice about committing to buy something bigger from them.

I asked simple questions, neither of the lads knew the answers, one was fairly rude.
I also looked at a speedo, upon review I noticed it had already been used with 11 miles on the clock.

I told two members of staff, neither responded and put it back on the shelf both times.

Just poor

My transaction was very easy but I overheard one member of staff identifying that another has erroneously sold someone a bottom bracket and an adapter for the bottom bracket that was included with it. They then reached out to the customer to rectify it and refund for the extra part. That would have been easy to let stand and I was impressed they did that.

Great customer service I purchased a whyte 901 but came with damage as I live to far from the store I got a part refund thanks for all your help

The order process was easy but bike arrived without mudguards. However, the store sorted this promptly and shipped mudguards straight away. The bike is great and a joy to ride.

Bought a kick stand from the Cheltenham store, There wasn't any bots included in the package so Peter who was serving me went above and beyond to find some as the one's what was in the work shop was either to short, not the correct size or far too long.. Thank You Peter...

Fantastic service of my Cannondale E bike today, very friendly staff, asked about any issues or work needed doing, they listened and understood everything I said (I had a rear wheel spoke issue Which they fixed) absolutely perfect service took 2 hours, checked & fixed everything as per the service schedule, upgraded the software. Perfect with clearly very competent staff, conversant in e bike technology (very rare skill) will be back in a year f

Really helpful team. Bought a secondhand bike from their website. When it arrived the dropper post wasn't working. Spoke to the Daventry branch where the bike came from. They called my local branch who in turn called me back. Got the bike in same day and fixed the issue. Great service. Not the first time I've bought a bike from Leisure Lakes and it won't be the last.
