As a mom of two with a pelvic organ prolapse, I was searching for a way to avoid tampons or suction period cups. I've had three periods using the Nixit disc and only one tiny leak (I put it in in a rush and didn't push it far enough back). Even with a birth injury I've found that it fits comfortably, and I haven't had a single period cramp since starting to use it. I am SO grateful to have found it.

I'm still learning to use this. I bought it because it is safer to use with an IUD and it's Canadian! I can wear it all night without any leaking. I'm still figuring it out for daytime usage, but I really like it and it is easy to clean. I can't feel it when it is in place.

After having my first child my cousin had convinced me to switch to the cup, I used it religiously and after having my second child found the cup could not hold up to my new period and a few friends amhad suggested I try the disk... wow

I've used it for 3 cycles and am obsessed. I talk about it all the time to whoever will listen. It has been a complete game changer for me and my new aggressively heavy period. I'm not leaking randomly and forget I'm actually wearing anything, it's even helped with cramps and I almost enjoy my period now

The nixit has been a game changer for my period. Although there may be a learning curve for some, I was able to figure it out right away and have never experienced any leaks. Leaving it in for 12 hours allows me to go about my day and not have to worry about changing it (same with overnight - it was so annoying having to get up and change tampons).

I am OBSESSED with my Nixit disc. It is finally period peace. The product is comfy, the company’s website is such a wealth of information, and all their videos are so informative. I tried a cup with little success but the Nixit was amazing from the first time I used it. It is the best period product out there. I wished I had known about the Nixit in junior high. No leaks, no cramps or discomfort, no worries! I literally have to set a reminder on my phone to remember to take it out because I forget I'm on my period! I want to shout it from the rooftops! As a busy mama of 3 beautiful babies, every little bit of simplification and ease in my own self care is of utmost importance! I also really love the less environmental impact. Highly recommend!

This is my third year using nixit. I don't like the suction from traditional cups so I was very excited when I discovered the disc shaped ones. At first I didn't like the nixit cup because I thought it was too big for me or something. I couldn't get it to slide all the way in, but then I tried using some water based lube with it and now it works great! Nixit's new lube is my favorite. I also found nixit's demo videos to be very helpful. I love how soft + comfortable this cup is, no suction, the high capacity, and works great on its own without any back up period products! The autodumping feature comes in handy- I don't have to worry about needing to remove nixit when using a bathroom away from home. As long as it's within the 12 hr wear time I can just bear down to let it self empty, tuck it up again with a clean finger, and remove + clean it when I get home 👌

I started using soft cups with Instead Soft Cups 15 years ago. I wanted to contribute less waste to the planet and have mess-free period sex with my boyfriend of several years (now my husband). After about 10 years, Instead was struggling and was purchased by Flex Cup. The prices rose, and I was struggling with that. I was also struggling with supply. I decided I wanted to further lower my eco-footprint as well as manage my cost. I started looking for a reusable menstrual disc. I started with the Intimina Ziggy Cup, but it was so soft that I was always leaking all over myself. So after watching hours of YouTube videos, I landed on Nixit! I'm so glad I did. I've been using Nixit for 3 years, and I can't imagine going back! I love my Nixit cup. It feels safe and secure, with no leaking; yet, I still don't notice it's there! Even better, since buying one, I have kept 504 soft cups out of the landfill. That also comes out to around $500 in cost savings vs buying Instead. I wish I had found Nixit 10 years sooner! I would highly recommend Nixit!

Nixit has 100% changed my periods for good. I made the switch just over 2 years ago and the only negative thing i have to say was why was it not invented sooner!
I used tampons for a long time before switching to a traditional cup wanting to reduce my waste.

I really struggled with traditional cups. the suction and folds i would leak a lot of the time and it was just a hassle.
I stumbled upon nixit and wow no suction no stupid folds and mess free seggs (added bonus)

I seriously love my nixit and had used it for every cycle for the last 3 years until I got pregnant. I had never used a menstrual cup before deciding to try this one after hearing some feedback about traditional style cups that use suction sometimes causing worse period pain. I took a chance on this new product and I’m so happy that I did.
I have a VERY heavy flow which even ultra tampons can’t control and this cup held up to it. On my first couple of heavy days I do wear a light weight panty liner as backup just in case but have never had an issue with leaking. Rather then making a mess with trying to take it out and reinsert it every time I just bare down and it empties. I only do a quick feel around that it’s still in place before going about my day, confident that there won’t be any accidents.
There was a bit of learning curve with it at the beginning but since it was during quarantine when I got it, I had plenty of opportunities to get used to it at home before depending on it when I went out & about.
I have also noticed a huge difference in my period pain since switching to nixit and find that I have hardly any cramping anymore. Which is amazing!
Since I was personally going through so many tampons for ALLLL of the years before finding nixit, I can tell you it has saved me a ton of money and helps me from contributing more to our landfills. It’s also liberating not to have to travel around with a dozen tampons in my bag all the time! Just this one simple product has made a huge difference in my life.
I’m sorry to see that other women haven’t had the same great experience that I have because I recommend Nixit to anyone who is willing to listen.

I’m not sure where the ladies below went wrong but I haven’t experienced any issues using the nixit disc. The insertion wasn’t foreign to me due to previously using the diva cup. It literally sculpts to my cervix. I wears liner just in case but fortunately I haven’t experienced any leakage. It may be a learning curve for some but everything just isn’t for everybody.

I love Nixit. It took 4-5 cycles to get used to, so I had backup just in case. It’s very comfortable - I never had that with tampons. I could always feel tampons and on heavy days would leak often. I’m grateful I kept trying. Nixit saves me money and I no longer have to worry about discomfort.

LOVE this product! This cup has transformed how I feel about my period and my body. I recommend it to everyone I know. It definitely has a learning curve, but the company page and instagram is super helpful. An amazing company that is passionate about women’s health.

All this thing does is leak. I'm so glad I finally found some honest reviews, because I thought I was going crazy based on all the 5-star reviews on the company website. I used a Lunette menstrual cup for many years and was pretty happy with it, then switched to a Nixit, just to see what all the hype was about.

Two positive things I can say: It's easy to insert and you can't feel it at all when you're wearing it, but none of that matters since it doesn't do the MAIN THING it's supposed to do. I used it for 6 or 7 cycles and then finally gave up. It leaked CONSTANTLY. It leaked on heavy days and light days, when I was active or just sitting around. It leaked when I was awake or asleep. It leaked when I went to the bathroom, when I sneezed. It literally leaked when I coughed. The claim they make that you can have "mess-free period sex" is laughable. It's not like there are a million different ways to insert it either, though the company tries to tell you on their website that there's just some special trick you're missing. Believe me, there isn't. It just leaks all the time, no matter what you do. I'm going back to my tried and true menstrual cup. Such a bummer.

Doesn’t work and company will not issue a refund. Took 2 days to make sure it stayed in properly and it never stopped leaking. Awful

Do not trust the hype! It absolutely is not easy to use. I have used the Keeper and the Diva cup for the past 25 years. I only switched because of the marketing, so kudos to them. So mad at myself for wasting the money.

I know I was putting it in properly and am not squeamish about getting in there and it kept popping out the front. It will not stay tucked behind my pelvic bone.

One size does not fit all. I ordered this because I got sucked into their Instagram advertising and use a menstrual cup for many years which is not enough volume for my flow generally so was excited to try something that could hold more. Well the long and short of it is the disc doesn't fit. Ive tried reinserting so many ways leg up, down, even laying down in bed. On a medium flow day, light, heavy, with lube. You get the picture. Ive tried this over multiple periods but can't tuck it behind the pubic bone because it feels so large, it is also very cumbersome to fold and get in and out so not nice to use. Keep in mind I have used a cup for nearly 8 years so am familiar with where to place it based on anatomy. I really wanted to love it because it would be a great solution on heavy days.

I did know that returning it wouldn't really be an option as the shipping for me would not be worth what I'd get back so I was ok to take the price gamble, though I will say these discs are worth twice the price of the most expensive cup I have seen so for the price point it is disappointing to not be able to return it. This is also a personal preference but I disagree with the company politics about their whole 'menstruators' and 'period having people' talk. I find it dehumanising that their PR department has forgotten what women are and that women having periods has become a banned and taboo phrase. Sorry I don't subscribe to the 'everyone has periods' view.

Product is too big, no alternative sizing available. No returns or refunds so if it doesn’t fit it’s a complete loss.

I cannot for the life of me get this product to fully insert. After a few emails back and forth with their support team, I've concluded that this product is not a "one size fits all"!! They will also not refund you. Buyers beware!! I would never recommend this company to anyone.
