A total shambles .
Bought a treadmill ,cross trainers and bike from them -treadmill belt slipping and not getting up to speed -took a week + to respond to an e-mail by a guy called tom -who said machine too old -so can’t come out and look .
Machine cost £6k when bought -wrote back again and asked for engineer to come an inspect -not even a reply -over 10 days waiting .
Do not buy anything from this outfit as appalling customer service

My expensice treadmill arrived with significant damage. Box was undamaged; This meant I had to cancel the installation of the machine.

There has been no contact by life fitness to sort this out and tomorrow it will be a week since delivery of the damaged treadmill. Disgusted to be treated this was after spending several thousand pounds.

In addition the space where the treadmill is useable which is inconvenient and just adds to the frustration

The console on my elliptical is slow to load up I’ve contacted life fitness 2 or 3 times and they’ve not responded very disappointed after spending nearly £2000 on this elliptical.

STEER CLEAR: £995 paid-faulty product received
2 weeks ago today I paid £995 for an exercise bike after asking many questions about aftersales service and receiving all the right answers. The price I paid included installation. My patience was running out after It took 9 days for the installer to arrive to set up the bike when we then found the console was faulty and inoperable. Despite calling Fitness Superstore many times they have now said this is a warranty issue and referred me back to the manufacturer, Life Fitness, who have not been in contact despite promises to do so and despite me chasing. The net result is I am £995 out of pocket and have a nice looking bike, the screen is blank which renders the bike simply a piece of expensive furniture that I cannot use. Beware of cheap offers with insincere promises of customer service. Shame on you Fitness Superstore and Life fitness. You should be returning my money and collecting your faulty goods. I expect to hear from a senior manager who cares about customer satisfaction.

The IC5 indoor exercise bike lacks connectivity features found in nearly all modern exercise bikes, i.e., bluetooth transfer of data to cycling apps and videos. Power data is inaccurate (measured against a +/- 1% accuracy pair of pedals mounted to the bike). But the largest problem is Life Fitness Customer Service. Life Fitness Chicago CS group couldn't answer simple questions about the features of the IC5 (after repeated calls to different agents). The ICG group (who designed and built the bike) wasn't much help, and referred me back to the Chicago group. I still have unresolved issues about the IC5. Should have returned it when I found out that Life Fitness does not support the products they sell!

Purchased a T3 Treadmill. Some miscommunciation about the specs before purchase but when I flagged this up after delivery they have been pleasant and proactive in rectifying the situation and I am happy with the end result and the T5 Treadmill I have received is of high quality. Great customer service and great products.

as a blind person, they tried to kick me out.

I have bought C1 life cycle exercise upright bike. Everything is ok except the saddle. After spending 30 min, I feel severe pain in my hip bone. I called them and the customer service representative told me that people have issue with the saddle and they pay above £60 to upgrade the saddle and bought C3’s saddle. I have already paid above £1200 and now I am not willing to pay extra. They earn money but the poor design of the saddle make me literally mad and no care after sale.

I bought an ex-display IC4 from a retailer, which ended up having a bent handlebar. (Everyone was confused how this ever happened, because they're solid bits of kit) - Within a week of being passed to life-fitness' service department, they'd sent out a service technician who replaced the handlebar - No quibbles, no questions asked. I would be hard-pressed to buy gym equipment from a different manufacturer after this experience.

T5 treadmill, track plus console
T5 treadmill , track plus console. New base but shop use console, issues from start, some resolved but support was very frustrating, info sent in not shared with engineers, 1st visit he turned up with no info on faults and wrong parts, console replaced on 2nd visit, 6 months in i have given up on 1 issue, just waists too much time so just accepted it, Seems it is impossible to create a run program for 10 kph, Base is well made and nice to run on but poor buyer experience for kit that's not cheap. as others noted, not setup for home customers it seems

I bought the IC6 online and after a week or so delivery was made and was installed by the "professionals" as part of the service. Anyway the bike had a fault and was DOA (Dead On Arrival). Arranged for a replacement, (bearing in mind my wife had already taken a half day off for the delivery and will now have to take yet another) Replacement arrives and hey presto, same issue! Cant be coincidence! Install team said it was a known issue regardless of what Life Fitness tell you! As a gesture of good will I was upgraded to an IC7, top of the range and would be tested before delivery! WOW I thought.... Everything should be fine.... Another half day taken off by my very patient wife and when it arrives its also DOA! Really? Tested before delivery? I don't think so!

Really poor service by LifeFitness and I felt because I was a "home" customer and not a commercial gym i was getting a sub standard service and product. Something clearly wrong with the IC6/7 series as to have three successive DOA's is beyond coincident.

I then had to jump through hoops to get the money back as they had to inform the company i bought it through to give a refund and pretty much dragged their heels.

For the money you pay you don't get a quality product. So save your time and money and go else where.
