Appaling in every way. Only god's grace will allow you to find a flight, and then, just now, having finally found a flight, the site doesn't let me complete my personal information and credit card. My gosh, how I despise Lifemiles!!
Lifemiles Does Not Take Responsibility for Their Mistakes
I booked a flight with Lifemiles from Qatar to South Africa. The flight did not go through immediately and their system told me to wait for a representative to come online. That never happened. I called (many times) and was told that the taxes had not been calculated and that they would contact me when this had been completed. They never called and never emailed. I followed up several times with hours long waits on hold and they kept telling me to wait. The last time I called they told me they had cancelled the reservation because it had not been paid. They will literally make up lies to cover their errors. In my case they said that "we contacted you but you didn't make the payment" despite the fact that I was calling them regularly and being told to wait. This is a terrible company.

Worst customer service! I transferred miles and now they’re telling me I can’t book the flight or transfer the miles back!! Their customer service representatives are the worst, they don’t understand basic English

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. The amount of back and forth I've had with this company in the past few months is insane. The website would not work for me after I transferred my miles from AMEX. I went back and forth via email and phone, people kept telling me to talk to one person and another, send information etc etc. The flight then went up hundreds of dollars before I got any resolution. I asked to get the money back but they refused. I am now trying to use my money since it's worth 500 dollars, and the website still is terrible - charging me and still saying the reservation didn't go through. I've wasted so much time and money...would not recommend to anyone what I went through

call life miles to transfer points from my wife's card which I am an authorized user and I have a card in my name and they told me that there was no problem but what was my surprise that they charged me more than the flight was worth for the points, in addition to an additional fee, I consider this a robbery for the consumer since I had obtained the points myself when making purchases with the card, they say that on the screen you can see how much the fee is, which, being so high, I always thought that it was the value that they gave to the points the truth is that it doesn't work it's a waste of money life miles and united that's why I wasn't surprised to see that they have a star on TripAdvisor they are thieves disguised as business
Crap program
Crap program. Flight was cancelled because of Covid. They would only let me re-book flight in future, the same exact flight is what it had to be. Spent two days trying to re-book, and four days trying to get miles back which cost me $400!!! They know how to screw you. For some reason they book a ticket for me to Colombia and I get an emailed reservation. Strange! FYI I am still trying to resolve this issue.
I will make sure not to travel to Colombia if this is an example of Colombian customer service.

Worst flying program and customer service. I redeemed a flight ticket from Colombia to Spain; unfortunately, I couldn't travel, so I cancelled my booking. I spent one day calling customer service with no success, then I emailed them and took ages to reply to my emails, and finally, they cancelled my booking. Still, the worst part is that lifemiles reimbursed my milages and taxes 4 months later and I couldn't use my miles afterwards because they expired already! Please avoid this dodgy company; you can only redeem your miles with Avianca, which they are ALWAYS late.
