Hard to find fault, except for group being over sized, which meant we were split over multiple hotels.

Fantastic tour of Nepal and India at an incredible price
I have had a number of touring holidays over the years, but this is the first time I have used Lumle Holidays. However, it won't be the last.
I was a bit apprehensive using a new company but the tour of Nepal and India was incredible and could not have been better prepared. Lumle have thought of everything to provide such an amazing tour, from the easy booking process, to the meet and greets at the different airports, to the drivers we had along the way and the numerous guides who showed us such incredible sites in both countries. They even provided a meet and greet on our way home from India to make sure that ran smoothly. They thought of things that would not have even occurred to me.
Every one of their team was polite, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, giving us so much information on our way around Nepal and India.
If you haven't used Lumle holidays before, then don't hesitate. Now that I have experienced a holiday of their calibre, I will certainly be returning to their website to book another one!

We had originally booked with Lumle…
We had originally booked with Lumle Holidays to Sri Lanka in March 2020 but due to Covid we couldn't travel. We decided last year to travel to Sri Lanka in 2025 but this time we included North of the country as well. Most people travel to the south of the country, but we wanted to go North as well. We spoke to Lumle and they did very good package for us. All the hotels booked were excellent or very good. The guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable about all the towns we visited. Narayan (Lumle Holidays) was very helpful with everything. We would get replies to our queries within 24 hours. If we go to Sri Lanka or another trip we will gladly pick the holiday with them.

Great experience exploring Costa Rica…
Great experience exploring Costa Rica from the Atlantic, visiting Tortuguero National Park rain forest, river and canal systems. The richness of fauna and flora was amazing. From there to Monte Arenal in central Costa Rica, staying at the Oasis Wildlife Refuge, exploring the butterfly exposition and the rainforest birds and animals basically right in front of the Refuge restaurant. I recommend going white water rafting to experience nature and an exciting adventure. To the mountain range of Monte Verde with elevated views of the valleys, below. We stayed at a very rustic lodge, it can get windy and rainy, but worth the experience. I recommend going horseback riding in Monte Verde to take in the beautiful mountainous landscape vistas. We ended our trip at Samara beach on the Pacific coast, where we stayed a small hotel with a pool, 200 metres from Samara beach. We enjoyed the hot weather and the beach. Lots of restaurants to chose from.
Some recommendations to consider as a Canadian traveller: Costa Rican col are pegged to the US dollar, which means it can very expensive to eat out. Look for Costa Rican food restaurants called Sodas, you will pay half as much and get a good home cooked meal. Also recommend that the Oasis hotel install air conditioning or dehumidifiers units as the bed sheets always seem damp. Saying this, we experienced more wildlife at the Oasis Wildlife Refuge than most of the other tours and we’re thankful of the experience! Our flight was booked with Avancia airlines, which was efficient, but you must pay for any food or drinks, no perks not even water, coffee or tea. Although there are direct flights from Toronto to Costa Rica, our flight had one stop on each flight extending arrival time by 3-4 hours. I realize this is cost effective, but I would have appreciated the opportunity to chose. I appreciated Lumle Holidays going the extra mile and extending my return flight by 2 weeks so I could hook up with friends coming later. All in all a great interesting experience!

Lumle were very easy to deal with…
Lumle were very easy to deal with before departure and their representatives and guides in Nepal were excellent. The hotels were all good (we didn’t opt for the higher level) and in great locations. Internal travel went as well as can be expected with the state of the traffic and roads! Fabulous people, great food and stunning scenery all at a great price.

Another excellent holiday experience with Lumle. Our trip to Nepal was superbly organised with brilliant local guides and organisers. This was our third trip with Lumle and, as previously, could not be faulted. Narayan. the owner, is so professional and approachable with his clients and any queries are answered immediately. The small group tours allow you to discover and learn so much about a country and represent superb value for money when considering what is provided. His depth of knowledge and experience is second to none. Vietnam is a fascinating country

Fabulous experience of Nepal
Right from initial enquiries about my holiday through to the trip itself, everything was perfectly arranged. Narayan was an exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable tour operator. He answered all my queries promptly, and as an elderly single traveller, I had many questions!
The tour was personalised to my requirements exactly, and it was wonderful from start to finish. It was everything the publicity said it was and more. I cannot recommend Lumle Holidays highly enough. I only wish it had been a couple of days longer to extend the magic!

Lumle - Simply Superb - Service - Support - Sensational Value
My wife and I took our bucket list trip to Nepal with a six day India Add-on.
FIRST: From the planning stage, Narayan guided us through the extras to include AND importantly NOT to include to suit our preferences rather than hard sell to go for all.
Very comprehensive itinerary details supplied at the earliest stage.
Lots of personal instant guidance to lead us through the India e Visa and Nepal Visa processes.
Our airline flight times to Delhi were changed giving us a long layover before our onward flight to Kathmandu and Narayan rearranged them to excellent alternatives with a slick but achievable change at Delhi, all within 24.
Any e mails we sent got swift helpful replies within hours day and evening.
SECOND: The trip. Everything was exactly as promised and the level of attention and reassurance was superb. At every airport and hotel a company rep was present and local guide provided at each base - and these were excellent. Even on our final return journey, we were not merely dropped at the airport but were met by a company rep who took our bags and escorted us through all the check in process, saving time and lengthier queues and took us right to the point of going through departures security. Wow!!!
The selected hotels were excellent, clean and comfortable. We were with a group of 13 others in Nepal, all of whom were lovely company - the WhatsApp group continues - and in India we had our own dedicated driver for the six days and our own dedicated guides at Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
17 days with no mishaps. A faultless fabulous trip that built lifelong memories from Everest and the Annapurnas to the incredible Taj Mahal.

Disappointed with the first hotel we stayed at: the Park Inn, Gurgaon. It was of a poor standard (electrics failed, no hot water one morning, decor shabby in the room).Also, the hotel was located a two hour drive from central Delhi, the hotel quoted in the original itinerary is much closer to the centre.
That said, the remainder of the hotels we stayed in were all good. Rooms where all nice, some of the buildings quite spectacular. Several had swimming pools but i personally didn't find the time for a swim alas!
Our guide for the 10 days, Samar, i thought was exceptional. He had great knowledge of all the places we visited and could always provide background information on any questions we had along the way. For the first time visitor to India some areas can be a little intimidating - just the sheer volume of people and traffic, and Samar took very great care to look after the group and keep us all safe. A deft push from Samar at just the right moment keep me out of the way of the horns of an errant bull wandering the street - thank you again Sir!
For me, Samar managed to provide just the right balance between sufficient information to be informative but not so much that I couldn't take it all in.
Our group, i think, was probably quite a difficult one from a tour guide perspective, but Samar managed the whole trip in an entirely professional and appropriate manner.
Finally my thanks to Samar for his considerable help in resolving an issue with a purchase we made in Delhi ahead of joining the tour. Once the group tour had come to close in Delhi on the final day, Samar spent 3 hours of his own time helping us to remediate the unfortunate purchase. His help in doing this was very much appreciated.

Excellent first visit to India
Our trip to India was excellent. All organisational aspects of the holiday were perfect, much of which was down to our guide, Samar. He was totally professional, his insights and knowledge were superb, and he had a very good sense of humour. The coach we used had certainly seen better days but was adequate. Denish, our driver, was excellent and, given the urban driving conditions, his concentration and expertise was awesome. The hotels we stayed in were not perfect but, in the main, were very comfortable.

I have just returned from this amazing trip. Lumle as a tour company were superb and I would definitely use them again. Samar our guide was first class. Knowledgeable, professional, personable, a genuine all round great guy. Our group had a couple of “rogue tourists” who didn’t want to adhere to the itinerary but Samar was courteous and professional at all times - highly recommend and 5 stars for Samar

Great value well run holiday
The trip was very reasonably priced, it was well organised, hotels were of a good quality and the transfers all went smoothly and all the trips were really enjoyable.

Jewels of North India trip
I did the Jewels of North India trip with my Mum. The trip of a lifetime! It was well organised and lumle holidays responded quickly to all our queries (pre trip and during). The itinerary was jam packed meaning we experienced all the culture and beauty of Rajasthan. Our guide (Samar) and driver (Dinesh) made our trip all the more special! Both spoke good English and were very friendly. Samar had exceptional knowledge about the local areas and added a few extra stops so we could experience authentic India outside of typical tourist areas. I can't recommend this trip highly enough and would be more than happy to book with Lumle Holidays again

The whole trip was very well organised
The whole trip was very well organised. All the tour guides spoke good English and were very knowledgeable and very friendly. Any questions we asked of Lumle were answered promptly and we felt confident that we would be taken care of at each stage whilst also feeling that we were on an independent holiday
