Reviewing the speed dating: They really tried to make it a good experience with the friendly live person assisting remotely and finding people based on their self description. And the time between people to write notes. But there wasn't enough time to write the notes (only like 1 minute). You can go back to all your notes though. Since there wasn't an in-person host, it was hard to end conversations when you're supposed to and people would still be talking to their previous person when it was your turn. They sent the matches the next day and let you know which compliments you got from people.

Joe was encouraging, participants were all lovely, great venue with space to move and for conversations.

I wasn't sure what to expect but the experience is thoughtfully designed and I met a lot of friendly and kind people and was happy with those I matched with!

It felt casual and easy. I also liked that there wasn't a lot of pre-work ahead of time and they offer conversation starters if you want them (but not required). This was by far my best speed dating experience so far out of the companies I've tried.

I have done a couple speed dating events over the years, and so far this was my favorite experience. It's a small number of people so you get a longer time to chat (though 10 minutes still goes by so fast). I found the Web app they use to tell you who to talk to next very easy to use, and I never had a moment where I could not find the person I was supposed to chat with next. The vibe was very relaxed and low stakes (this was for queer women so might need to factor that in as well to the chill vibes), and I had a very nice time chatting with new people. Full disclosure, I did match with someone, so that could influence my feelings about it, but I left the event thinking it had been fun and worthwhile even if I didn't match with anyone. The downside of fewer people to chat with is that you are more likely not to match, but even with that in mind, this was the best speed dating experience I've had so far. Definitely worse ways to kill a couple hours at a bar for sure.

They are a scam dating company in Oregon. Only the host "Joe" has access to matches and it's at his discretion whether you will get a match or not. They wanna make money so they'll say you didn't match with anyone so you keep attending their events. They are a shady business with no transparency! We aren't allowed to ask/ share our personal info with dates so they have full control. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Even if you match the host “Joe” will message this: Unfortunately, you did not have any matches. Don't let it discourage you, it's about finding the right one, not just anyone.
