Made of Wood Ltd Avis

Good service, with great response,
Mr Kevin answered all my questions in time.
We Received the wood floor we wanted, and hopefully soon will lay it down.

Product ordered and received quickly. Would use again.

I ordered small oak drawer knobs. They were delivered quickly and are of really good quality.

From the moment I contacted Kevin at Made of Wood to ask for information, I had excellent advice, guidance and support. Kevin responded very promptly and in detail to every enquiry I made - and there were quite a few! As a result, I was able to make an informed decision about what material and quantity I needed and did order. I would certainly recommend this company and Kevin in particular! Excellent information, advice and guidance. I would certainly buy again!

Brilliant communication from Kevin at all stages of the process. He answered all my queries promptly whether by phone or email. The product is lovely. I would highly recommend.

Great customer service

Kevin was fantastic and provided great and speedy service. Wood was delivered quickly as well

I recently purchased 10" Prime Oak Herringbone H25P. The delivery was very quick and the quality of the product was excellent. A couple of broken tong and grove pieces but apart from that, a great product.

Excellent quality as well as advise and service with next day delivery. Perfect. Thank you

Got exactly what was needed faster than anticipated

Very impressed by the quality of the oak block sample, so we went ahead and ordered our new parquet floor from Made of Wood. Very helpful friendly service, responded quickly to all questions, and all materials arrived within days. Very happy and couldn't recommend Made of Wood more highly.

Great service, the beading I ordered was delivered the next day!

Easy to place order and came next day. Great service

Extremely helpful throughout my enquiry & subsequent order. Would definitely buy from this merchant again.

I ordered EC63 engineered oak boards. Before placing my order I specifically asked Kevin whether the packs contained split boards and was told that each pack had two split boards. When I opened the packs - no split boards. Contacted Kevin who told me that on average there were two split boards per pack and that I could cut the boards in half if I wanted to and manufacture the tongue and grooves on the cut ends with a router! The ends of the board ARE NOT microbevelled. The plywood is not high quality and some of the T&G needed refining to get the boards to fit properly. The oak veneer itself is fine. I had to use this lot because they were the only suppliers I could find who had 15mm boards. They are no cheaper than the good suppliers.

We ordered 65sqm of wood flooring and underlay from Made of Wood Ltd. Kevin was a great help throughout the process, assisting with choosing the perfect wood flooring, answering any queries we had and ensuring a fast delivery time. Would definetly recommend.

Had a specific requirement for wooden plugs and the exact size needed was ordered then delivered quickly.

Really pleased with the accuracy and consistency - excellent product.

The floor looks amazing and good quality, feels like great value for money, the customer service was very helpful and the delivery was really easy. All in all, great place to get our flooring from. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Please avoid this company. I ordered around £1,500 of engineered wood flooring from this company last October. I placed an order for tongue-and-groove wood that was to be glued together, however they phoned and instead offered a product not listed on their website - an engineered click oak. I accepted this as I was new to flooring and thought this would be fine.
The problems started almost immediately with this company. They sent out the delivery which continuously arrived damaged - it took three deliveries to get the full order intact. I measured the millimetres of veneer on the wood, which was inconsistent and less than the advertised amount. Again, I just decided that it would be okay as I wanted to move on with the project.
We read the installation instructions and followed them to a tee - we had the floors professionally levelled, subfloors installed, etc. The first floorer said the product was some of the worst he’d seen - bad quality, cheap stuff. Again, not listed on their website. The second floorer fitted it but again said it was bad quality. Less than one year later, the entire floor has failed and is being replaced. Thousands of pounds down.
I tried engaging with the company with photos of the millimetres not being as advertised and the floor failing, but they just passive-aggressively sent me the installation instructions as if I hadn’t read them and also had the floor professionally installed. This is a disgusting scam company that has ripped me off, sold me an inferior product to the one I thought I was getting, and has been evasive and rude at every turn. Please avoid.

Made Of Wood have excellent products. I’ve purchased solid oak parquet flooring from Made Of Wood twice now and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of the product and the customer service.
The team have always been available for advice and support whenever I’ve needed it.
Highly recommend them.
