Happy with the finished product
Really lovely guy that came out to measure and give us the quote. He sat and talked us through the pros and cons of each option and prices etc. Arranged for fitting a week or so later.
When the laminate fitter arrived he noticed that the floor was really uneven which hadn't been picked up during the initial appointment. The only option to continue with the laminate was to screed the floor which cost me an extra £400 that I hadn't budgeted for. I had a call from head office who were very apologetic but didn't offer anything to help which is very disappointing. Had this have been mentioned initially, I'd have delayed the fitting to save up the extra money required.
The laminate fitter was very helpful and informative, same with the carpet fitter who came 2 days later, so can't fault them at all. Happy with the finished product.

At Lazy carpets we pride ourselves on our customer service so I'm sorry you were unhappy with the extra cost to put right your uneven floor, unfortunately the sales estimator cant always assess the condition of your sub floor prior to installation, in rare occasions when the fitter calls to lay the floor he can't continue if the subfloor is uneven so gives you the option to have your floor screeded, In your case this was the right thing to suggest and will ensure your flooring will last you many years. Was able to keep the extra piece and other extras jut incase the carpet was to move and damaged.and the service was nice especially when it can be quite expensive for some people there’s no judgment

The fitting was great and the guy fitting was so lovely and went out of his way to help. We all had a good chat throughout the fitting and it was nice to have a friendly funny guy to make the process less stressful.

I could not fault this company at all! Contacted a few months ago & a lovely lady came out with lots of choices of carpets and gave me soo much information, nothing was too much effort! (I’m sure it’s Linda or Lisa)!
I wanted 2 bedrooms, landing & stair runner - all have been done now 10/10 to the fitters who have been great in communication, sending photos / booking me in quickly and doing a fab job! Also a bonus having left over carpet from the rooms to use for the stairs!
Honestly such an easy process from start to finish & I highly recommend! Price is very reasonable too, thank you all so much!

The whole process from choosing and being installed was trouble free.
I used Lazy carpets as my daughter had used them and was very happy, as are we.
Ian came to our house with samples and measured up. A week later Neil came and fitted the flooring.
He was a very clean worker and we love our laminate floor.
We had no idea how much to expect but were very happy with price.
I would strongly recommend Lazy carpets for their friendly professional business.

Absolutely shocking experience
Absolutely shocking experience, sales guy Kevin was fine as being an ex salesman myself you sell the world to the punters so that was expected, fitting shocking and sent photos but no reply, fitters were short of vinyl going up to cupboard although tons of it dumped in house, shocking mess dumped all over house, even left 7 cans of heavy duty floor spray dumped, could tell obviously only interested in there £300 fitting money , never again ? Having spoken to you today it appears that the pictures sent were never received, so we were unaware of any of the issues you have raised. You have kindly agreed to forward the pictures and full details of the issues raised. At Lazy Carpets & Flooring we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, this includes aftercare service. Please be assured that we will look into this further to resolve this for you.
Not Great, although not terrible
Whilst Kevin the flooring specialist was a lovely guy,
aswell as the carpet fitter & the prices are okay. It says on their website “ fast fitting ”, there is nothing fast about it. I had kevin come out on 25/02/2026 for a free home visit quote, I then decided to go ahead with the quote on the 12/03/2026 and booked in for Friday 20/03/2026 for fitting, to then receive a phone call a few days later after making the purchase to be told the carpet was out of stock & they would need to order it in and that it would not be ready until the end of March/ start of April. I agreed to wait, I then ended up having to call back multiple times at the end of march to find out what was happening and found out the carpet would be back into stock on the 2nd april, we finally ended up getting a fitting date scheduled & the earliest date they could offer was the 20th April, meaning I was waiting roughly about 5.5 weeks from making the purchase to getting the flooring in, would not personally class that as being “ fast ”.
Complete shambles of a situation & the “ fast fitting ” that is said on their website is non-existent.

However, with your order we were able to fulfill part of the order immediately and arranged your fitting date, then we were unable to fit on the day, as this was not convenient for you. You then asked for all area's to be fitted at the same time, when your carpet arrived. We always ask if customers are happy to wait, if not we will arrange for you to choose another product. At the time you chose to wait. We do apologise for any inconvenience this caused, and we always endeavour to fit at the earliest convenient date. Once again thank you for your feedback and your patience whilst we looked at resolving this for you.
