Very poor service
Ordered and paid for amber composite decking approximately 7 weeks ago. Paid for specific day delivery (today, Thursday 29th). Not heard anything so phoned local store in Coventry 9.15 to get approximate delivery time. Return phone call advises decking is out of stock until next spring??? Got someone here to start fitting??? No updates, no nothing!! Don’t let them waste your time!!

While the original flooring experience wasn’t good quality and we had various issues, Simon Gee exceeded my expectations with his customer service and care. He understood the problem and was very sympathetic to our family needs.
He and his team and Sam and Jordan were so professional and polite. They were tidy and respectful and detailed in their work.

William store manager of Glasgow branch…
William store manager of Glasgow branch has been fantastic.
I received the samples within two days and the quality is amazing. I received a phone call and text message to see if I needed further help which I appreciated.
I have spoken to William regarding the adhesive I required for the LVT flooring and he recommended the correct one to use with my underfloor heating.
Just waiting to get my floor fitted now. Can’t wait.

Mis-sold items, appalling communication, and attempted extortion with a 50% fee
I strongly advise avoiding Flooring Superstore unless you are prepared to fight tooth and nail to get what you actually paid for.
We ordered engineered oak herringbone flooring and trusted their team to supply the correct accessories. They completely failed. We were mis-sold underlay and adhesive that were entirely unfit for purpose, and several boxes of the flooring arrived damaged.
When we attempted to return the unopened boxes of flooring, they tried to penalize us with an outrageous 50% restocking fee (over £850). They only folded and agreed to a full refund after my wife explicitly cited the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and threatened to raise a formal dispute through our finance provider. It is disgraceful that they try to bully customers into paying these fees until you prove you know your legal rights.
The logistics and customer service from their "Customer Success" team were just as bad. Trying to get the correct adhesive and replacement boxes delivered before our professional fitter arrived was a nightmare. Promised callbacks never happened, urgent emails were ignored, and staff routinely left for the weekend without passing on vital delivery updates.
To make matters worse, despite us calling and emailing constantly for a full week, we STILL have outstanding issues that need resolving. They flat-out refuse to reply and confirm how the remaining items and pallets are being collected, leaving us completely in the dark with a massive load of wood sitting in our home.
If you want a straightforward purchase without having to act as your own logistics manager and consumer rights lawyer, take your money to a more reputable supplier.

I would like to clarify that our Customer Success team has been actively working to resolve the concerns raised, including arranging for the full restocking fee to be waived, agreeing to cover cost of a return courier cost.
I have also personally escalated the delivery issues with our transport team a to help ensure the replacement flooring and correct adhesive arrived ahead of your scheduled installation.
The outstanding refund is dependent on the returned goods being received and inspected at our warehouse, as explained in my correspondence. Once this has taken place, the agreed refund can be progressed in line with the arrangements confirmed.
I appreciate that there have been frustrations throughout this process, and I have made every effort to provide a fair resolution and support the customer in bringing this matter to a conclusion. I remain committed to helping resolve the outstanding return.
