I do not use this for homework, nor am I complaining simply because I dislike recieving homework, I am complaining because the methods taught on the site are extremely poor and impractical, with very few, and oftentimes no other methods being taught per subject topic, for example, quadratic nth term, is a simple enough to understand topic, I can perform regular exam-style questions on the topic to a decently high standard, however, as a result of the abhorrent method that is used to teach the topic on the site, I misunderstood how to perform questions relating to quad nth term, in prior practise papers, and due to the lack of useful websites for maths revsion in the same style as mathswatch, I and many others, either for revision or homework, are forced to mislearn topics, due to the site, which without proper teaching, can cause significant setbacks for students in future. In addition to this, the site is relatively clunky; it also lacks many basic quality of life features (such as sound muting for sounds and useful links to reputable sources for revision) causing it to be a poorly laid out service that due to effecting very largely adolescants, and being a for profit company, refuses to take reviews seriously.

They don't put effort into the system

My school already has alot of people who find maths a very challenging subject, giving people this layout of homework is barbaric. It is primitive to the core and the pages load slower than my teacher explaining something to the class. Not to mention she sets boatloads of homework and cannot even teach, I go home and watch a 5 minute video and learn it quicker than her giving me an hour in lesson; then she sets a 45 minute task on mathswatch ! Overall this app is the epitome of maths summed up in one word. Someone please unplug the server rack holding it together

Absolutely pitiful, slow, clunky, awful guidance videos and questions, genuinely nothing redeeming about it.

atleast its actually better than f$cking sparx. no bookworks, no flashcards, just lets you do the question and move on. my school brought it back for mocks and overall just better

Mathswatch is stressful for my students would not recommend for homework

this is too ancient, they won't let me move on at all if i get it wrong
the videos are unrelated as well with a person sounding like she was forced to sound encouraging

not the best if you get a question wrong you have to keep on trying until you get the answers correct! The quality is poor the videos are bad quality and unclear !

Saddest , most horrible form of maths homework to exist. Genuinely who thought to make such a miserable platform for children to use.
