The absolute worst with customer service. "Customer service" is non-existent. Their chat bot won't respond, long waits on hotline if you can even get an agent at all, and if you speak to an agent, they always say "follow up". I closed my credit card with them by filing a case with BSP due to non-response and no action from customer service. DO NOT KEEP A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY IN MAYA or YOU WILL BE SORRY. Avoid their credit card as well. The "benefits" are not worse the pain when something goes wrong.
STUPID CUSTOMER SERVICE! AI DEPENDENT AND INCOMPETENT!
I am formally expressing my serious dissatisfaction with how my dispute case is being handled, as well as the overall quality of your customer support.
Requiring customers to wait 15–30 days for a resolution—especially for unauthorized transactions—is unacceptable and far below industry standards. Other financial institutions are able to act on similar cases within a significantly shorter timeframe, which raises concerns about the efficiency and capability of your internal processes.
My experience with your live chat support has been equally concerning. Responses appear heavily templated, lack critical thinking, and consistently fail to address the actual issue. More importantly, my repeated and polite requests to escalate the matter to a supervisor or manager have been outright declined, which is highly unprofessional and gives the impression that escalation is being deliberately avoided.
This situation is made worse by the fact that I have already submitted multiple tickets and secured a BSP reference number. Despite this, there has been no meaningful progress, no clear communication, and no sense of urgency from your end.
At this point, this is no longer just a delay—it reflects poorly on your dispute resolution process, customer service standards, and overall accountability.
I am demanding the following actions:
• Immediate escalation of my case to a supervisor or appropriate authority
• A clear and detailed update on the current status of my dispute
• Prompt action regarding the unauthorized charges on my account
If this matter continues to be mishandled or delayed without valid justification, I will have no choice but to pursue further action through regulatory channels and public review platforms.
I expect a timely and appropriate response.

Two approved refunds from Steam, but Maya refuses to give it back
I refunded two games from steam, which STEAM approved within an hour. But Maya did not return my money for more than 10 days now, August 21 and August 31 transactions. They held those two refunds and refuses to return it to my balance. I called for 2 days straight, I emailed purchase dispute support TWO times, I talked to chat support for three days straight, and still did not get my refund money back. Their system and support sucks. I don't recommend it at all.

I am extremely disappointed with Maya Easy Credit and I feel the need to share my experience so others are aware. First of all, their customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. Every time I try to reach them, I end up waiting on hold for a very long time. And when someone finally answers, instead of helping, the agents have a very bad attitude — they sound irritated, unprofessional, and careless about customers’ concerns. It feels like they don’t want to help at all, which is very frustrating especially when you’re calling about something important.
What makes it even worse is their policy itself. Even if you are a good payer who always pays on time, or even an advance payer, they don’t give any kind of privilege, consideration, or recognition. There are no benefits, no rewards, and no flexibility. It seems like they treat everyone the same, regardless of whether you are a responsible customer or not. For me, this is very unfair. Loyal and responsible users should at least be given some kind of advantage or appreciation.
Overall, Maya Easy Credit just causes more stress than convenience. The whole experience feels very one-sided — you pay them on time, but in return, you get poor service, zero consideration, and unprofessional customer support. Honestly, I expected so much better, but instead I’m left disappointed and frustrated.
To be honest, GCash is way better. They are more reliable, their customer service is more responsive, and their policies actually make more sense for good and responsible payers. Comparing the two, Maya Easy Credit feels like a downgrade. If they don’t improve their service and policies, I cannot recommend Maya Easy Credit to anyone.

I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience I had with your Customer Service representative named Mitch, as well as the ongoing issue with an e-transfer transaction made from my Maya Wallet to GCash.
The transaction took place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, and was marked as successfully transferred in your system. However, the amount has not been credited to the recipient’s GCash account up to this moment.
I have been patiently following up, and your system repeatedly stated that Maya is currently experiencing issues with e-transfers and advised me to allow 3 banking days for resolution. I waited as instructed.
This morning, I contacted your Customer Service again and explained the situation. Unfortunately, the response I received from Mitch was unhelpful and dismissive. Rather than providing a proper status update or assistance, she merely sent me generic links and advised me to "settle it with the account owner"—which is both confusing and inappropriate, considering the transfer was initiated and confirmed on your platform.
I am requesting:
A proper status update on the transaction.
An investigation into the conduct of the CS representative.
Assurance that this issue will be escalated and resolved promptly.
This situation has caused inconvenience and frustration, and I hope it can be addressed with the urgency and professionalism expected from Maya.
