Called at Ballymena Branch with slow puncture, needed new tyres anyway, Stephen fixed puncture to let me drive car as tyres had to be ordered. Tyres arrived few days, and were fitted in quick time. Highly recommend these guys, nothing was a problem. Peter and Stephen, always welcoming and friendly, guys done a great job. One happy lady driver.

Yesterday en route from Dromore to Bangor we had a flat tyre. We were under oressure time wise. The guys in Modern Tyres wete fanand sorted us out quickly.

Ordered tyre on Friday for Monday fitting. Sat for 1 hour waiting to be seen while watching everyone before me get messed about. Only to be told after an hour that the tyre wasn't there and they didn't know when it would be. Also nobody about apparently to issue a refund. I'll never recommend them or use them again.

Called in to Queen Elizabeth Road depot yesterday to get tyre pressures checked
Was served by a very professional, friendly dark haired young man with glasses. He’s a credit to the company. Many thanks

After 7 phone calls to order 4 Michelin primacy 3 tyres @ nearly a grand , I got two arranged for 05/12/2024 and the other two on the 06/12/2024 while getting the first two fitted despite asking for them not to damage the wheel I just got refurbished. The truck tyre fitter that the supervisor had said not to go near the car fitted the tyres and scraped the paint of the wheels down to the metal on the edges and chipped the front , they admitted this on the Thursday immediately and phoned me on the way home and said ( recorded on dash cam it’s their fault and said they didn’t want me to go away unhappy ) then on Friday denied it and laughed in my face after the supervisor fitting the front two without any further damage showing it’s fitter error like they all said the day before .

The manager refused repeatedly to contact the director saying he was too busy to talk to myself -and told me to go away , So when I went to my car three male staff decided to lock me in the building false imprisoning myself within the depot

I finally got Connor on the phone after looking up the head office and Connor said he would correct any damage and he was sorry although from this the director Connor has ignored my emails and phone calls and today told me I’m too much of a problem and he’s not fixing anything and to take them to court which I will be as I have everything recorded after the damage Including pictures outside Their depot of the alloys minutes prior to the damage .

I didn't have spanner with me so they borrowed me one until i changed punctured tyre for the " emergency one " and come back at their firm, purchased two new tyres , so I will be back at same garage in the Future 👌👌👌👌

Worst customer service ever received.
Over charging.
Spoke to a guy named Glen  in ModernTyre Tallaght,Dublin, confirmed on the phone twice, €30 per Tyre for fitting and alignment. Dropped my car for fitting and alignment this morning, confirmed with the reception guy as well that €30 per Tyre.
When it came to payment Glen charged me €155 in total instead of €120. When I asked about the confirmed price Glen told me 'that's our price'. He was rude and said you can put as many reviews you want and that wont affect us.
After the incident I called up to all the branches Moderntyre have in Ireland to find out what actually they charge? All other Moderntyre in Ireland confirmed that they charge €30 per tyre.

It's not about the  money, it's the trust/commitment that matters.

Excellent customer service as always at Bachelors Walk Lisburn depot. Guys always more than helpful and obliging. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Got a new tyre fitted. After 200 miles it blew out on the sidewall. Returned to modern tyres dromore Rd omagh and the manager wouldn't do anything about it even after one of their fitters said the tyre was faulty. Never again!!!!

Got rear tyres replaced. Within 2 weeks and not driving the car I got a slow puncture on the passenger side where they had replaced the tyre. Went back and it turns out they had overtorqued all the wheel studs, including the locknut. They had to hammer real hard on the studs to take them off and while trying to take the over torqued locknut off they destroyed the face of the locknut. After wasting my time sending me to another modern tyre establishment that was not equipped to take out the damaged locknut they asked me to bring the car back and they would arrange with a local garage to take out the damaged locknut. Went back to collect the car and now the story is that there is a crack in the wheel, and the wheel is damaged where the garage removed the damaged locknut. We are talking about AMG alloys that cost 1000€ each new.
When confronted, Modern tyres did not take responsibility for any of this…absolute cowboys.

Bought most expensive tyres in your branch in waterford jan23 to find with 13000 max done since wire coming out of two front tyres
First it was speed ramps that caused this and when that was queeried told i had driven 34,000
I am an OAP who on average does 100 to 200 per week for medical appointments
Checked NCT milage mar 23 and take nct milage from current milage i have driven 11397 to today
It seems its a waste of money buying your expensive tyres

Absolute disgrace in portadown Modern Tyres. Manager said they could fit new brake pads I already bought. When I got there around 9.30pm /10am, approached the manager Graham Doherty and told him I was the one on the phone. I could see he was clearly shocked that I was black, with a strong N. Ireland accent. I was born there 60 yrs ago, but he didn't know that. He immediately thought I was a foreigner who he could abuse. He said that it would be 2.30pm b4 they could do the car. Even though he asked me to come in when I rang. I picked up the brake pads, and went there, as requested I already knew then that he was a racist, he never said hi, or thank you for coming here. But I've seen many people with his look, and I can tell immediately. Anyway, I brought the car back at 2.20am. He came over to me, no hello, no smile, just a look of distain on his face, and said, it'll be 2.30pm b4 we can fix it. Like . I never even asked to be made a priority or early. My suspicions were absolutely correct. At 2.30pm he came over to me and asked me what type of car is that. I said it's a dodge nitro jeep. No different, mechanically than any other car. It's right hand drive. He then said, I thought you said Dacia on the phone. I told him, I'd told him clearly. In Modern tyres ad. They take all types of cars, suvs, trucks etc. My car only need a normal jack. But the manager said, "we don't have the equipment to lift it". What a f***ing racist liar. A huge truck was off the ground, as well as a big mercedes. But they were white. He refused to fix my car, and pointed me down the road to a foreign mechanic, who immediately replaced my brake pads in 30 minutes, not a bother at all. Straight forward. Graham Doherty is a racist pos 💩, and I would advise ppl not to use this garage. It's like walking into a klan area. The racist attack happened yesterday the 13th. But it won't allow me put the 13th on the calendar. This incident was extremely upsetting. And completely out of order. I enclose a photo of my jeep. It doesn't require any specialist lifting equipment, that Graham Doherty tried to imply, as an excuse to attempt to cover his RACIST attack . UPDATE!!! Received a call from the manager Graham Doherty yesterday, the 16th. He claimed that he wasn't racist, and that they had "some" in their church. I reminded him of his racist abuse of me, and his disgusting behaviour by refusing to fix my car, under absolutely nonsense excuses regarding not having the "right equipment" to lift my car. All it needs is a normal car jack for a normal car. Despite making an appointment with me, pushing the appointment back 4 hrs for no reason, then refusing to fix my car. Then requesting I get it fixed by someone else, who just happens to be a foreigner. This is disgusting discrimination, based on my colour. What Graham Doherty didn't know at the time, was that I was born and raised in portadown, in the 60s, and still speak the language, fluently. This is a breach of my civil rights, to be treated like my white counterparts. I was denied this right, in the most disgraceful manner, and made to feel like a second class citizen. Whilst they were hoisting a 30 ton truck up next to me. And he claims that they didn't have the right equipment. He then changed his story. Suddenly he attempted to apologise, saying that he was stressed out, and very busy, which is bs because there were 2 customers there. A very big Merc, lifted, and a massive truck, lifted. He then said that when he saw my car, and saw that it had side rails, he didn't want anything to do with it, because sometime back in the past he had a bad experience with another vehicle with side rails, and he didn't want to touch it. That is the gods honest truth. The foreign guy that he sent me to, was the nicest person, friendly and helpful. He had my car jacked up and sorted within half an hour. Not once did Graham Doherty even say hello to me, or thank you for making an appointment with Modern Tyres. He saw my car multiple times, and was next to me when he outrageously told me to come back at 2.30pm, after telling me to come in and have my car fixed at 10am. He's a disgrace.

Had a very bad puncturebut and all four tyres needed changing. Huzzar changed wheel free of charge until I could come in next day to get all tyres changed. When I arrived the job was all done in 20 minutes as I waited in comfortable area. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Staff member tried to hustle me into a new tyre I didn't need, said the miniscule cracking on the inside tread was unsafe. Took to another company locally and the puncture was fixed and the guy said the tyre was fine. Such a shame Modern Tyres gone that root. Will never be back.

great experience this morning in limavady.My wifes car wouldnt start and she had to drive to Bellarena to catch the train to Ballymena,I rang Modern tyres and spoke to the lady in the office and she assured me that someone would be with us within 15 minutes and they would get the car started.Sure enough the young man arrived promptly and had the car started in a few minutes now where in the world would you get service like that,cant thank them enough

New tyre fitted in February 2023. The tyre never held full pressure. Brought tyre back in May and I was told it had been repaired which I had to pay for. The repaired tyre fully deflated while I was driving on M2 in September. The deflated tyre was shredded. Asked the company for a refund at my next tyre replacement. They asked for my registration and have ignored my correspondence since. It is my belief that the tyre was faulty from the start. They contend that my experience is a coincidence.

During a motorcycle tour in Ireland this last week I was unfortunate to get a puncture in the back tyre.
I called Modern Tyres Coleraine enquired if they did motorbikes and they said bring it down well do it straight away. The guy who did the puncture was very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. John O Kane is his name and a huge thanks from me for getting me back on the road so that I could continue my tour. I am now back in the UK and really can't thank these guys enough.Brilliant Service guys.

Went to the Castlereagh road branch on Saturday morning to get new tyres.Guy behind counter really helpful and tyres reasonably priced but it was just him and one other guy on duty -they never stopped.Glad I went early.
MT really need to sort out your staffing on Saturdays as a lot of customers had to wait long.
Your staff on Saturday were excellent but they definitely need some help on a Saturday.

Went in 1 month ago to get tracking done car had a knocking noise at the time asked if they could take a look when there
Paid 48 pound came back told all was OK
Had a mechanic look at it this morning
Found track rod end was done he was shocked that it was missed
As it was at a point that the car could not have been tracked and the only way it was not noticed was if the car was never tracked
When went in they took my phone number and did not phone back
So I went to Enniskillen tyre centre where I was charged 1/2 the price and they actually did the work
I would highly recommend Enniskillen tyre centre
