Modern Tyres Avis 

New tyre fitted in February 2023. The tyre never held full pressure. Brought tyre back in May and I was told it had been repaired which I had to pay for. The repaired tyre fully deflated while I was driving on M2 in September. The deflated tyre was shredded. Asked the company for a refund at my next tyre replacement. They asked for my registration and have ignored my correspondence since. It is my belief that the tyre was faulty from the start. They contend that my experience is a coincidence.

During a motorcycle tour in Ireland this last week I was unfortunate to get a puncture in the back tyre.
I called Modern Tyres Coleraine enquired if they did motorbikes and they said bring it down well do it straight away. The guy who did the puncture was very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. John O Kane is his name and a huge thanks from me for getting me back on the road so that I could continue my tour. I am now back in the UK and really can't thank these guys enough.Brilliant Service guys.

Went to the Castlereagh road branch on Saturday morning to get new tyres.Guy behind counter really helpful and tyres reasonably priced but it was just him and one other guy on duty -they never stopped.Glad I went early.
MT really need to sort out your staffing on Saturdays as a lot of customers had to wait long.
Your staff on Saturday were excellent but they definitely need some help on a Saturday.

Went in 1 month ago to get tracking done car had a knocking noise at the time asked if they could take a look when there
Paid 48 pound came back told all was OK
Had a mechanic look at it this morning
Found track rod end was done he was shocked that it was missed
As it was at a point that the car could not have been tracked and the only way it was not noticed was if the car was never tracked
When went in they took my phone number and did not phone back
So I went to Enniskillen tyre centre where I was charged 1/2 the price and they actually did the work
I would highly recommend Enniskillen tyre centre

Went to Modern tyres Enniskillen 2day to get tracking done on jeep as it is due nct.
Left jeep in and went up town and have a look around, returned after one hour and informed the tracking was 100% no charge.
I compliment all on your Honesty as I would not know if work was carried out or not.

I had a great experience with Modern Tyres (aka "Malahide Tyres") at their Dublin Swords/Malahide Branch. I arrived early in the morning with a punctured tyre and was pleased to find that they were able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue for just 15 euros. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I was back on the road in no time. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of service and the affordable pricing. I would definitely recommend Modern Tyres to anyone in need of tyre service in the Dublin area.

Two tyres fitted today, two alloys damaged, heart broken

Went to modern tyres Duncrue to get a puncture fixed waiting time 1 hour no problem. waited 2.5 hours . Waste off my life setting waiting . Don’t go there if your looking a speedy turn around . You’ll need to book a day off work 🙈 finely some one Came out to the car and take the details only that this big tyre warehouse doesn’t have the tyre that’s required for my unusual rare Vauxall combo 🤣 they’ll be in about a week.

Works van was left in for brakes n 2 tyres Lisburn bachelors walk.2 weeks later got a puncture no lock nut to be found in van.They reckon was put in glove box,only people to take wheels off the van were modern tyres in Lisburn.Either someone took the lock nut out of glove box or it wasn't put in glove box.Only 2 of us in van n We've searched glove box n it's not there.We now need to sort getting rid of all the lock nuts on the van.

Went in with a slow puncture. Arrived at 5:00pm, went straight to reception as the sign said. Waited 5 minutes for someone to see me, while one guy wheeled a jack around and the other tightened up lug nuts on a van and then on another car. Got noticed in reception, told them I had a slow puncture needs repaired. Reply was "Not today mate, will take us half an hour to get cleared up". Didn't look to see was car even drivable, or how low the pressure was. The cars they were working on were finished, more keen to get home than assist someone who might not have been able to drive home. Had to ask to use an airline just to get myself home.

Holywood staff are obnoxious, rude, unhelpful. I’m a district nurse and popped in for a tyre pressure check, manager refused as he was “too busy”.Didn’t offer to check at later time, and he knew me from bringing my previously lease car in. That will be my last encounter with this place, horrible experience, every single time. Customer service training needs updated, for them all

Great service in dungannon from young mckay and his crew in and out in a jiffy highly recommended

Terrible phone manner, was like Basil Fawlty. Had dual pricing, 10% more if you don't book online, which needs a weeks notice. Online tracking price is wrong also. Huge waiting time and you're just thinking why give these guys my money? It's like Mc Donalds got into the tyre game, then gave up.

I, a 49 year old woman went on 4th January 2022 to get 2 new tyres on my Peugeot 407. I asked how long would I have to wait an was told by the manager it wouldn't be long. Other customers that came in after me to get new tyres were all sorted an I was still left waiting (Mercs, vans porsche etc) I sat patiently in the waiting room for my new tyres to be fitted. After 2 hrs 45 mins i asked for my keys back as my car still hadn't been touched. Will never ever be back again, as a woman I felt degraded, even 1 star is to much.

Awful service Onslow Parade, broke 2 sensors in my car replaced with two rubber valves. I'd have preferred a mistake to be admitted and not be lied to. We all make mistakes.
Getting two new sensors has now cost me an extra £150.

I've never seen slower service in the Dungannon branch! Very cheeky boss man walking about not fit to organize a thing then blaming the workers, no real order for people waiting just what will make them the most money goes first it seems or they might take your wheel off and just forget about you until they could be bothered finishing off a tyre change whenever it suits them

I have a lease car and found myself with a slow puncture on a rainy day with a 17 month old grandson the guys on the Boucher Road Belfast were fantastic. Told me to call and it was no bother to them to repair and check my other tyres
