Motorway Avis 

Friday evening, car started giving jip. Had a feeling it may have been the car battery and my brother in law came up and jump started it for me. Car started yesterday, but I wasn't confident that I could trust the battery. Rang Motorway and spoke to Art, told me to come out and he would test it for me. Got a surprise when Art tested it - normal fail percentage is 55% to 60% - Mine was 6% - Yep, SIX PERCENT! Art identified the battery - Paul double-checked it, at Art's request as it was for a Japanese import and Peter installed it. As appears to be the case with Motorway, Teamwork is paramount. The difference in the car since getting the new battery is unbelievable. Thanks Art, Peter and Paul, for sorting me out yet again. Complete faith and trust in their abilities - no fitting charge and before anyone says it was/is built into the price, nearly €60 cheaper than a company fairly close, which does charge for fitting. Don't go beyond Motorway - they will never put you wrong!

Really friendly staff behind the counter, recommended which car floor mats to buy (I only just got a license and car, absolutely clueless!) and coincidentally while I was there my license plate FELL OFF the car and Zach and some other lads screwed it back on for me. So so helpful definitely will buy all my future car stuff here.

Brilliant. Difference between here and Halfords in Mahon Point is night and day. Gave them my car reg, they supplied and fitted my wipers there and then. Young Irish lad who fitted the wipers was professional and friendly. Would give 10 stars if I could! Support local Cork businesses like this instead of the big useless firms!

I was unsure of what oil to buy for my BMW as it was burning a bit of oil lately and Tony took time to come over the counter and show me all the oils and explain which ones were best, I also ended up buying a full service kit of fuel filter, oil filter, air filter and oil additive after speaking to him, absolutely fantastic service and a really friendly knowledgable man in Tony giving me all the help, I would give more stars if I could!!

Excellent service- I rang to see if I could get a car battery replaced, they told me to call in. Car battery checked and replaced in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Excellent customer service. I went in to buy a steering wheel cover for my car but could not get it on after purchase. One of the staff was so kind to put it on for me. Very helpful

I highly do not recommend this place. I accidentally called the shop twice within a few minutes, and the man who answered became extremely rude and unprofessional. He started harassing me, demanding personal information such as my name and address, raising his voice, and even telling me I was not allowed to look for parts at other stores because I was “wasting their time.”

All of this happened simply because I wanted to check other options in case they didn’t have the part I needed. A month earlier, I had also contacted this shop about a part. They told me they would call me back within a few minutes—but they never did.

This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

I needed new wiper blades for my Kia Rio. A Ukrainian guy fitted them for me. He told me to test the wipers. o.k. He noticed when in operation that the larger front blade was hitting the shorter one, This guy went to a lot of trouble to find blades that would not clash. This all at not charge!! Plus about 20% at lest cheaper then other places. Halfords charge for fitting. Well Done

On the 6th November 2022,After work l noticed that my passengers side Full light Bulb was gone so l decided to visit Motorway on Kinsale roundabout upon arrival melt 3 guys standing by the repair garage Entrance informed them of the the issue,in a nutshell they fixed it in absential whilst waiting, On Sunday the 18th of December noticed that the same bulb that was changed was already went back on the same day was told l could only be sold the bulb,But they couldn't fix same knowingly they previously done a Cowboy Rouge Job,What they did at the first instance was they broke the input where the bulb is inserted without informing me and decided to seal it without my consent nor taking responsibility,l went back there yesterday to get it sorted only to be abused by the so call owner,This Guy has no respect for himself,What l found out about this place is, they're good pretenders, but deep down this is are Rouge Trader's,The thing is,l bought the full set of the Lights from the same place,l got all the evidence incase people are wondering(Trustpilot)
