I've had my MSM tracker for a few years now and couldn't be happier. It's a great device even a little tricky at first to set up. However, MSM and other inviduals have provided great tutorials on setting it up efficiently. Once I got use to the set up I seriously couldn't have been more pleased. I recently ordered additional parts from MSM to improve operating my tracking ability and the customer service I experienced during the process was exceptional. 10/10 highly recommended MSM.

Buyer Beware! After waiting for weeks for delivery, today I got a message that there was a "delivery exception" and the product has been returned to the sender (before it even got to my country).

Ok, can happen, but what may not happen is what followed: I(!) am somehow supposed to deal with the delivery service and sort out the mess that MSM has left me with. I neither chose the delivery service nor is it my fault there was an "exception".

Valid law clearly states that when shopping online, the goods remain the responsibility of the seller until delivered - not just until shipped. Apparently, MSM does not care about the law.

Horrible customer service. Do not order from here. Thankfully I paid via PayPal so will now file for their purchase protection to at least get my money back.

Purchased the full kit and v plate . Arrived well packaged and on time . Only had a couple of clear nights so far but very impressed with everything, looking forward to more clear nights and learning about the night skies and using the Nomad . Impressed how well it tracked the stars .

The MSM Nomad is such a game changer. So light and easy to use! Loved it!

Very easy to use and very flexible ways to mount camera. Laser pointer and polar scope with right angle adapter worked flawlessly. Good job in tracking stars.

Southern hemisphere user. The nomad is a great piece of kit. Small, easy to setup and simple to use. Well deigned piece of gear.

This mount is so easy to use. I don't have to use a ball mount with it. Perfect for my tripod and I bought a second one for my gimball. Love it.

Recently received my nomad msm. Found the set up was easy with the photo pils app (I am in the southern hemisphere) I have only had a few opportunities to fiddle around with the nomad and very happy with the results. Looking forward to the opportunities that it will deliver.

Great build quality.

I was extremely impressed with the build quality of the Nomad. The size and simplicity is a game changer. I can see this taking off as people realise just how easy it can be to take things to the next level and adding start star tracking to their repertoire

Excellent product, should have ordered this a couple of years ago. I have it connected to Skywatcher Pro 2i. Works perfect!!

I watched several reviews of adaptors to mount phones to telescopes and opted to buy the MSM one and I’m not disappointed. Easy to set up and adjust and great results on my first attempt

The principal of this little gadget is so simple but so perfect and will cut your polar alignment time significantly. Just make sure there are no planes in the area.

The Nomad fixes all the issues I had with my original MSM star tracker and adds an extra small but beneficial feature. My biggest issue with the original MSM was that the ball head attachment always came loose. This has now been corrected with the new geared attachment base. Second, the laser now attaching directly to the Nomad without the need to carry an extra bracket is great. The added benefit of the Nomad being smaller is also huge, as I routinely hike and camp out in remote locations. This makes it easier to pack and carry when weight and space are a premium. Keep in mind that Nomad does not have all of the other functions of the original MSM tracker. However, this doesn't bother me, as I have only ever used it as a star tracker.

Have used this a few times now out in the field. Attaches to the Ioptron Skyguider Pro easily and has placed the polar scope very close to Polaris with just small adjustments required. This item has made polar alignment very easy and can now be completed very accurately within a couple of minutes.

I have tried multiple adapters, and the problem is that some are phone model specific, not just brand specific. I needed the ability to adapt to ANY situation and device! I am using this adaptor for an iPhone 15 Pro Max to a Fujinon 14x40 TSX1440 Techno-StabiImage-Stabilized Binoculars. I like the micro-adjustments I can make to get the image I need exactly right. I think this one will last me quite a while!

One of the best products I've tried in 2023. Very well built in an all steel construction which gives you a good sense of security when using your expense phone with it. This product completely eliminates the frustration of the standard type of phone adapter. I would highly recommend this product to anyone one who wants to Easily take pictures of the night sky. Great work developers, fantastic product.

Hard to believe how ROCK SOLID it is!

I have not had a change to fully test NOMAD yet but just setting it up gives me confidence! It is ABSOLUTELY ROCK SOLID and wobble free. I am using the MSM wedge and MSM ball head with the Allyn Wallace Z mount. I used the same setup with the original MSM and always felt some level of wobble and instability. While the original worked well, there were some instances when the camera angle visibly put stress on the setup. I will use continue using the original's timelapse feature but will move 100% over to NOMAD for astrophotography. I can't wait to use a longer lens to photograph nebulas and galaxies

I used my new laser pointer for polar alignment, and it was very quick and easy! Took about 2 minutes to get the alignment and saw no star tracks using the MSM

The laser pointer to align my skywatcher gti works like a charm, saves me a lot of time and it does it’s work. The requirements to have longer exposures are simple once you have the alignment done

Best Astro gadget I've ever purchased ever. End of Story.

Polar alignment has always been a pain...this laser fixes that and makes it super simple. I have the iOptron Skyguider Pro. I screw it in, shoot the laster, and point to Polaris. It gets me to where Polaris is in the polar scope 100% of the time, on the first try. No going back and forth, hunting, wondering if I have the right star. It's visual, it's simple, and it's quick! I then make fine adjustments from there, and I'm off and running. I can't recommend this enough. It's the best $50 I've spent on improving my enjoyment of astrophotography bar none!!!
