Boiler tripping the fuse box…
We had a boiler tripping the fuse box and although the first engineer (also from My Plumber) couldn’t fix the issue because he was only trained on boilers (which turned out not to be the problem) the difference was made by Osaf who came the next day and assessed the whole system, found and fixed the issue within an hour. He was very thorough and caring - even though it was late he wanted to stay and double check everything so we didn’t have further issues. Thank you Osaf!

Diagnose problem with hot water tank
Job was to examine hot water tank and diagnose why it has stopped heating the water. Calm knowledgeable electrician. Checked fuse and wiring. Agreed next step is to replace thermostat.

Very good but just one point
Very good. One point to consider. Since nobody was there I had no idea if he had found the key, done the job and left the key in the right place afterwards. I received notification finally about 7 hours later. In these circumstances it would be good to get a message that all is ok as soon as job finished instead of just wondering. Other than that all good.

Plumber from BARKS took my deceased husbands wrenches
I was looking for a Plumber to fit my hot water tap for me and came across the company BARKS on line, on around 4th June, before I knew it a plumber named Roland originally from Albania contacted me and I booked him for the job to be carried out the following Sunday 9th June. He eventually arrived around 10:30 and started work turning the mains off and proceeded with the job. He had just started the job and suddenly he informed me he had to go to help his friend who had a problem his passport saying he’d be back at 3pm. While he was gone I realised he’d turned off the water at the mains. I had no water until he turned up at 3pm that day. He got on and finished the job having a little moan that he was late finishing. He did a reasonable Job. After he left I noticed water leaking and called him, he explained what up do and came over the next day to tighten the tap properly. The next day I realised I could not find my husbands’ two wrenches which were left under the kitchen sink, one was small and one medium sized. I contacted Roland to ask him if he’d accidentally picked them up. He kept denying he had them at first, I sent him a final text asking him once again if he could check his van and tool box, he responded saying he had found the medium one but not the small one and will drop it around that week (week commencing 24th June). Needless to say I have not seen hide nor hair of him since. Make of it what you will but the wrenches to this day have still not been returned. It breaks my heart because they were my husband Tony’s who died on 14th March 2024. Roland knew that. Our 32nd anniversary was due to be on 13th June 2024. My husband used to get annoyed when he heard of somebody taking another man’s tools. No surprise, I do not recommend him. I can’t have somebody I no longer trust in my home or recommend them and the one star reflects that.

I booked a plumber through the fantastic services website as the waste for my shower tray had a leak that resulting in water coming through the living room ceiling and down the walls.
I clearly explained the issue and attached photos of the shower tray and the corresponding ceiling below - together with water marks.
The plumber came within the appointment time, although I didn't get a call beforehand as stated online. The first thing I did was show him the ceiling that the water was leaking through with clear water marks. He then went upstairs to see the shower and again run water down the waste to satisfy himself of the cause. Cue water dripping through the ceiling and down the walls again. He then informs that he is unable to repair the leak to the shower waste as the ceiling would need to be cut out which he is not able to do, and so would require additional handyman services. At this point he's been in my house for 5 minutes. I'm then informed that I would be charged the minimum call out rate for an hour £142, and I should contact my insurance to get it repaired.
I asked if the cost of the repair could be rescheduled to another time when a handyman is present but that was not possible. So they've made £142 to observe my issue, add to the flooding and tell me it needs to be fixed!!
The customer service desk was responsive but still insisting that I received a service. Complete joke and utter waste of money, save yourself the hassle.
Friendly and efficient Boiler Service
Excellent communication throughout the experience of having my boiler service and some worn out parts replaced and fitted. The team were able to rearrange to a Saturday morning which assisted me greatly around a difficult schedule during the week and Luka was friendly, efficient, clear in explanations and has successfully prevented my boiler regularly losing pressure. Thanks to Luka and the My Plumber team!
NOT SATISFIED BOILER SERVICE JOB
I was not happy by the boiler service plus I have received. I feel many jobs haven’t been done and it felt very fast and superficial… not satisfied at all

Work great, billing dodgy
Booking and plumbing very good Billing is another matter, I am still waiting for the refund, the part only cost £15plusVAT and was bought from the plumbing shop across the road (2 mins walk)so was obtained within the time I paid for. Also viewing my final invoice seemed impossible with out setting up a Fantastic Services Account and no mention was made of the extra £40 for carbon offset.
Use BR Plumbing of Eastbourne at your peril!
BR Plumbing of Eastbourne fitted a new valve, which then leaked. Brian Forward failed to reply to my phone calls, emails and website requests to put it right. He has not returned the money that I paid him, and has not sent me a receipt. So you use him at your peril!
Terrible service
Terrible service. I used your services for over 10 years and never a problem. This time you sent a plumber to fix my leaking flush and he actually made things worse. He clearly was not comfortable with the job and said that the part should be replaced, together with a second little screw to fix the unit to the wall. I replaced the main part, but the company supplying it said that they didn’t have the screw, unless I ordered the entire unit. They also said that a good plumber could fix the missing screw. You sent the same person who was not happy about the missing screw and left with even trying to fix it. 2 minutes top in the house.
I called one of your competitors, they came and fixed the unit in no time.
I asked for a reimbursement and was denied.
And now you are asking me to rate your services?
