Michael the engineer was lovely and very efficient. However, the price this company charged me was extortionate based on my researched parts price and the time taken to complete the job.

I would rather give them a -Zero rating. Sharks in this industry... nothing good to say.

Came out to fix a blocked drain. Charged me R9500 with no prior discussion. Drain blocked again in 2 days. On calling the owner i was told to F$### off. Disgusting experience

I would not even put 1 * but this company is totally unreliable, came a week ago, said they would be back Friday, phoned Friday when no one came, was then told that it was the following Friday between 9 - 12 again no one came although waited all day, 'phoned and Steve said has Richard left a message? No message, Steve promised to call back.......still waiting, called several times, but went to voice mail!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Requested a call out, told someone would be available between 14.00 and 1600.
Contacted the company around 15.30 for an update to be told that they could not contact the person assigned to the job. Contacted again at 16.18 to be told that they still could not make any contact.
I rang again at 16.52 and cancelled the job. Very disappointing and would not recommend

Supposed to come out Friday 10th between 3 and 5 - never turned up - hate it when that happens

A friend of mine recommended Swift Plumbing. As she had a good experience. So I thought I will give it a go. I made the appointment. They did not turn up apparently the plumber was sick. I then advised them that I can only do a weekend. As they wasted a days holiday of mine. They wanted to charge me for a call out for an appointment they cancelled. They were meant to come out on Saturday just gone. You guest it they did not turn up or even provided a reason. I have just been on the phone today twice and again really bad. No call back and no shows for appointments. Please avoid this company!!!!

Enquired about services and Swift PK agreed a date and time slot with me which I rearranged my whole day around to accommodate.
They arrived at the adddress 69 minutes early and called me. Left no message so I called back and was told the engineer was “on another job and would I consider an appointment the following day?” Erm….we agreed a time slot and you came early- would not return at the agreed time slot and day and asked me to rearrange ( I could not) I received an apology- but now I need to ask another company to visit the address and provide a quote. Complete waste of time with zero customer service. Avoid if you have a busy schedule and don’t want to be inconvenienced by an inept service!

Absolutely beware everyone. They’ll suck you in with a small call-out charge but will then heavily inflate the invoice with all sorts of miscellaneous charges, even VAT and they’re not registered to do so. Check out their company accounts. They won’t leave until you pay, pressuring people.
When taking them to court, they know how to buck the legal system and avoid bailiffs when they visit. They have addresses they don’t live in, and so are circumventing the legal system. They know what they are doing and are well versed at this. Avoid at all costs.

Call a guy named Kevin, he quoted me R11500 on a burst geyser everything including labor, when the job was done, he send another invoice of R8500, concerning added parts, I refuse to pay this , and have now contacted my lawyer

Had a new raidiator fitted, cost was more expensive than quoted. £360 to fit one raidiator... nearly a weeks wage. Very expensive.

It was easy to book an appointment for the next day. The plumber who came arrived on time and was friendly (other than questionning my understanding of the problem in a slightly patronising way). He established what was needed and said I would receive a quote by the end of the day and then book in the work. I chased the company for 3 days and they continued to say they were working on it. I finally asked whether they actually thought they could do the job and they said no. I feel like I was taken for a ride and as a result am back yo square 1 and still have no hot water. They needed to be honest from the beginning and maybe need to work on their supplier network (if they actually tried).

I wish I'd read these reviews before booking the job. I paid £330+ for a plumber to change the plug in my bath. I was told the call out charge of £69+VAT included one hours of labour, which was not included in the invoice.

They refused to break invoice down into labour and parts. The part was under £20.

The plumber himself was nice and did a good job, but would not recommend this company as they are so incredibly expensive!

Very bad service or lack of I called them out they were in two mins and abrupt was give a very rough guess for this and that and no final figure then given a date which I could not make and then rebooked. Another member of staff who was nice came out but not to do the job just to look at it after I had taken a half day off work he apologised and gave me a figure and offered to come out after I had finished work then on the day he could not make it

Came within the time tried to tell me needed new stop tap and floor needing taking up and tap needed isolating etc. I know all it needed was the nut bolt tightening which i told him that was where the leak was from they did stop the leak and then said if I move the tap it will leak again. I think as I'm a women I dont know things but I know a bit. Only charged me the call out fee. Did say I would need them to do it tomorrow stated it was fine and thank you

We were desperate for a plumber in Christmas week: we had a blocked, unusable toilet, otherwise we would never have used this outfit. Also known as PK Plumbing, they promised an arrival time between 12-2, but arrived at 16:30. The ensuing comedy act of waggling various bendy tubes up from our manhole, and vacuuming out our toilet through the window, was baffling at best. We were told that nothing could actually be fixed today, and a further quote for £1350 was sent 2 days later (although was promised the same day).

The total cost for the slapstick pipe waggling-vacuuming routine was £192 for less than 30 minutes. We were lucky to escape with just that. No further diagnosis was made beyond that we’d already worked out for ourselves - that our soil vent pipe was blocked. No attempt whatsoever was made to unblock this, and instead the duo told us that they had to rush off to other customers.

Several days later and our toilet was still unusable, and we were no further on but £192 poorer. The initial invoice also detailed how much work they had done and asserted (erroneously) that the toilet was now functional. As others have said, AVOID. Manage with a bucket and get someone local who you can trust. It cost us £192 to learn this lesson. The problem was eventually solved by Ryan from Bramley Drains in Leeds (would highly recommend!) who properly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it thoroughly and promptly.

For an unexpected £360 for an hour, including a £60 call-out charge and a lack of upfront cost information over the phone, I'd recommend opting for Pimlico Plumbers instead, as they charge £150 per hour.

Terrible. Linked us to another company called we fix 24 Ltd who attended for several hours at a vastly inflated hourly rate, did not fix the issue, then quoted for replacing multiple parts and additional labour. Feels like a complete con and I would strongly, strongly advise you avoid at all costs.

Really really bad experience! Was quoted £69 for a call out fee that took 4 and a half hours!!! Was never given an upfront hourly cost and when the plumber arrived he tried quoting £420 an hour. We politely declined and then the plumber said he’ll do the job on the side for £150. Very unprofessional and completely took advantage of us as we had just moved in and were desperate. The woman on the phone is so rude and ignored majority of our calls. When invoiced, they used a different company name (WeFix24) and they use multiple different phone numbers. AVOID!!! Scammers. Will be reporting.
