I’ve used MyNewTerm successfully in the past, but their app is currently blocking my progress. I’m completely stuck in the 'checking your profile' phase because the 'Continue to Personal Statement' button is broken.

There should be a missing mandatory field, but the system completely fails to highlight it, leaving me stranded. The workflow is broken, and many applicants are going to miss critical deadlines because of this.

Truly awful website. If schools are paying for this, they are being scammed. It repeatedly fails to save and then looses information painstakingly entered into an over-complicated and poorly designed user interface. Logs you out unexpectedly despite having selected 'keep me logged in', again causing loss of work in progress. Application has taken at least twice as long as it should have due to constant issues with this awful system.

How is this awful site starting to dominate the market? I am yet again staring at a ‘saving - please wait’ wheel of death. My second ever application and I again look forward to losing what I’ve done and starting again. The interface is clunky and illogical in places. I could write pages on what is wrong with this awful site. We have to use it as schools and academies are clearly saving money. It must be putting candidates off that hate the faff though! If a job is advertised on more than one site, give this one the swerve.

Poor user interface and lack of flexibility. Puts off referees. Many teachers could be employed directly with schools instead of this rubbish site.

If schools wonder why staff don’t apply it’s due to using my new term to recruit.

Wow! What a brilliant experience I have had with this recruitment site! Not only have I found my dream job, it has enabled me to relocate back home after 20 years!

Please don’t take on Academy Trusts without first checking that they meet the criteria. Bringing on new academy trust can bring the company into serious for example, The Primary First Trust isn’t an academy trust that should be allowed to advertise with My New Term.
