I was impressed with the variety of washing machines and the customer service I received in Waipapa Northland. And to top it off I received it the next day from Whangarei it was amazing thankyou very much 👍.

Super happy customer …

I was warmly greeted by Ayelet in the Queen St, Richmond store, asked how she could help and exceeded my expectations on helping me purchase a new tablet. After making my selection, she helped organise a screen protector, and case, so I walked out very satisified, went home and set it up. Ayelet also left me her card so that if I have any questions about this purchase please give her a call. All the staff could not be more helpfull, thanks, Elizabeth.

Noel Lemmings Keri Keri...

I rang N.L store Keri Keri, to purchase a fridge only to be told the fridge i wanted they didn't have floor space, so they would order it, I had to buy it without seeing it. It's ok seeing it on line, but it's different on line than in person, that store never fails to shock me... and this is not the first time I've been told this by their staff..

Picked up a parcel on behalf my sister. Westgate Noel Leemings is the best. No fuss, straight forward, easy to deal with and efficient. Nga Mihi Noel Leeming Westgate ♥️♥️ would highly recommend and will be buying products again due to really good servicing ♥️♥️

When I went to pick up my Philips sound ma and collect .
asked the small Philipina staff memeber about how to use the machine ,was told ,dont know , no offer to get another staff member to assist , after signing the invoice ,didnt get a copy of receipt . Worst of all purchased on Weds , Friday same Soundmachine offered on line $50.00 cheaper . Unprofessional and uninterested staff member .

iPad purchase at Riccarton Branch

Paid for an iPad at Riccarton Branch. Was told 3 days to deliver and I would be informed by text or email. At new year (approx 8 days later) I went in, was told my iPad still not received but they had one out the back. Complained about no follow up and they said courier issue. Also colour not what I had asked for. Put in feedback online. Given a number and told a reply in 48 hours. After 24 hours email saying was I happy with their resolution. Rang and said no resolution, details taken again and promised a reply from Riccarton store manager. NOTHING. All the while I have been bombarded with specials from Noel Leemings.

Instead of doing what other companies do and replace it the chose to put the customer out and send it away for an assessment with out any replacement. Well I was there for 20 minutes they did the same to 2 other customers. Noel leeming has hone down hill drastically!

The staff were incredibly rude especailly the Indian manager? rude and had no right to interfere in what I was buying.Somehow they stopped my transaction from going through.I know this for a fact as their device would not accept my card yet 5 minutes later at Paknsave the card was fine,

I purchase a ps5 Pro console online…

I purchase a ps5 Pro console online with a one hour click n collect from the store which said it was in stock. Then a couple of hours later I get a text saying its "enroute to your chosen store" Tracking saying it will be delivered into the store the next day. 5 days later I still have not heard its "ready for collecting" so I just cancelled the order. I will get it for another shop (not NL)supplier who does have it in stock.

Noel Leeming in Lower Hutt is appalling

I’d rate Noel Leeming in Lower Hutt a zero if I could.
I bought a fridge and included a charge to install the new one and take away the old one. The first fridge was damaged. Noel Leeming originally said I’d have to pay for transport from Auckland. I didn’t damage the fridge so refused. On delivery day of the second fridge I was told they hadn’t arranged installation. Showed them the receipt. The store manager told me he’d refund the installation fee and it was my problem to find someone.
The fridge was plumbed in. This was explained at time of purchase that the existing fridge was also plumbed and the new fridge was simply an upgrade.
Luckily the plumber was available and came to switch the fridges over. I would never recommend Lower Hutt Noel Leeming.

I had a very unpleasant experience at the Lyall Bay Noel Leeming store regarding a faulty headset.

From the very beginning, the staff member I dealt with was rude and dismissive. Instead of listening to the issue, he became defensive and at one point even accused me of video-recording him, which was completely untrue and highly inappropriate. This made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer.

To make matters worse, I was told that a refund could only be processed if the original purchaser physically came into the store — despite the fact that the purchaser is overseas. This directly contradicted information later provided by Noel Leeming customer care, who confirmed that authorisation via email from the purchaser is sufficient. The store staff repeatedly insisted this would not work.

The lack of consistency, poor communication, and confrontational attitude turned what should have been a simple faulty-product resolution into a stressful experience. I eventually had to escalate the issue myself by contacting customer care.

Customer service should be professional, respectful, and solution-focused. Unfortunately, this experience was none of those. I expect better from a large retailer like Noel Leeming.

Was told to wait 2 weeks for delivery…

Was told to wait 2 weeks for delivery of washing machine. 3 months later still waiting. Keep getting excuses. Managed only 1 time to get noel lemmings new lynn store to actually pick up the phone over 3 months. Nightmare. They sold me a product out of stock, so they are waiting for more to come in.

Noel leeming advertised Cost plus GST for Super Gold Card holders from 4th to 10th December 2025. I wanted to buy Samsung S25 FE, After entering promo code, the price came up $1044.73 with discount. Would you believe that? PB Tech advertised this same phone for $949 and Noel leeming offer me for $1044.73 , and this is cost plus GST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there was a minus star option I would pick it. The sales staff have little understanding of NL terms and conditions and then lie about what they said. Customer service is terrible, perhaps because they largely employee the wrong people or training is below standard. I'd say probably a mix of both. I avoid NL these days.

NL, employ the right people and train them well. Customers want to deal with people who are good at their job.
