apparently different situations will produce varying results.... i was transitioning out of my old number so that i could pass it along to a friend, neither of us was in any hurry, and number barn offered exactly what i needed: park the number temporarily, while still receiving (and sending) texts, and let callers hear my custom voicemail greeting... so i experienced great functionality, an amazing price, great customer service, and a smooth port to my friends t-mobile account, which she was able to do at her leisure. its a shame NumberBarn isnt a household name (I had to google for what i was looking for, and struck gold), but if they keep this up it will be!

Another fine port IN completed. You can "trust" NumberBarn.com to "pilot" your port in request. I'm 100% satisfied.

I have been using Numberbarn for several years. Their service just works. The last carrier I ported from was Puretalk and they held my number but Numberbarn kept trying and I got to keep the number.

The services provided are exactly what I was expecting. Minor problems were addressed quickly and resolved in a timely matter.

I used number barn to purchase a number of my choice so it was easy to remember and I could use when travelling to the US as getting a new number each visit was annoying.
Now I have a number I can put on hold or transfer to an international number or use when travelling. Very happy

Ordered a couple of numbers and ported away. Everything was clear how to make it.

The customer service of Numberbarn is terrible. They don't answer the phone , don't return calls , don't port numbers away , & communication by email takes days .

I really appreciate Jessamyn’s support on my porting to Xfinity! She provided very prompt service so professionally. She went above and beyond to help put me in direct contact with Xfinity porting advance team when I was hopeless when attempting to get help with Xfinity customer service representative alone earlier. Service was provided by Numberbarn.com only via email but it was very personal and as effective as talking to live person.

Justin solved a billing issue within 24 hours, which is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. It says a great deal about NumberBarn that the company employs someone so capable, and gives him the authority to resolve problems quickly. Good work, Justin and NumberBarn!

So on a whim was gonna change my original 10 year old cell number due to alot of all of a sudden scammers calling me. I found this on Google for basically getting a vanity number which is no longer offered through cell service providers. I found my number paid the fees and walla your number is ready. I had to call my cell provider to port over the number and did so getting rid of my old number for good and walla nothing l!!! I found out the number that was in limbo waiting to be posted had a Verizon locked phone thing on it. Next thing I know I lost my old number couldn't pursue the new number and my phone was in limbo for 2 days mind you I am on call 24/7! So surgeries were missed and fees were adding up. I had to get a new number 20 dollars and switch fee 15 and a restart fee 30 plus I had to get a random number from my cell service that sucked. I especially hated that NUMBER BARN HUNG ME OUT TO DRY WITH NO CONTACT HELP, SUPPORT FOLLOW UP OR PHONE NUMBER TO RECTIFY THIS SITUATION. They set thousand of numbers aside so normal people can't use them then they monopolize the area and let it run on auto pilot as to say it sooooo good that no mistakes will be made..yet here we are!! I don't like feeling like a p.o.s and set aside!! This was a horrible experience and I regret it and hope Noone else has to go through it either. Our phones are a extension of us and who we are this was a slap in the face and Noone even cared!! On the rebuttal below again you didn't even listen to my extensive details about the situation on either email and the only outcome I recieved was I quote if your over it, we can refund ya..all I ask all I say is this..do not sell, borrow, loan or ask for money in exchange for numbers that are blocked by the previous carrier!! It did not go through due to being linked to a non paid off stolen phone from verizon..when ported over it said non usable it is locked by Verizon for non pay off of the phone it is linked too..which makes me believe u don't do due diligence or research number u want payment for yet don't care what happens to the people that want said numbers!!

I would not be doing justice to Justin if I did not state that he has been incredibly helpful, patient, kind, resourceful and lead me, step by step, to the resolution of my problems and the answers to my questions. I know so much more about Numberbarn in a way that will truly help me to deal with the important reasons I trusted Numberbarn in the first place.
It is so refreshing to be so pleasantly surprised about finding REAL HELP these days! ...and on top of that, Justin managed to lead me to comprehension of all I needed to learn, without making me feel not smart enough, which is an easy feeling, when you're not a 'techie' and need to deal with such matters. A smooth experience went faster than expected to transfer my number to them. I got what I needed.

I have used number barn for many years now. They have always responded and resolved quickly whenever there were issues that occurred. The value of this messaging service is great, you really can't find it with any other service. I highly recommend to use them.

I am really upset with this company making 5 million in gross sales a year from a PO box and 12 employees. They allow me to open an account, and they allow me to start a port in of my number, and then their sensitive computer security system determines that I am high risk, and my account is closed and my transfer is cancelled with no explanation and no assistance provided to me whatsoever. I emailed to customer service their LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION agreement that a "manager" was supposed to review. No response! Now my phone number is in limbo. It is no longer with my old carrier and not with Number Barn either. I need to find out who owns my phone number. And no humans to answer a phone either just to "save money." And their office is closed on Weekends. I am getting my lawyer involved, hope it was worth it to "save money." The customer service manager named Jeremy Watkin is suffering from the Dunning–Kruger Effect, and he takes week long vacations without someone to cover his work, and he forces me to answers his questions multiple times. Plus, he expects me to know why his computers refuse to do business with me. I have no idea! That is his responsibility to know.
