Australia On Line Avis 

I have been an AOL customer for over nine years and have been extremely satisfied with their service. I have recommended AOL to several friends, who have all been equally pleased. Their customer support is outstanding. Calls are answered promptly, and the staff are always patient, courteous, and happy to spend the time needed to resolve issues properly.
Excellent customer service is becoming increasingly rare, but AOL continues to provide it. I highly recommend them.

I have been with Aus on Line since 2019, anytime I need assistance my call is answered by clear speaking personnel within a few minutes. I've had a few curly issues with the NBN and with hardware, no issue was a problem to resolve for these guys and was sorted in short order.

Our NBN Fibre upgrade initially seemed to go smoothly – the technician left saying everything was good to go, and we followed the instructions to switch from our Deco Mesh FTTN connection to the new FTTP. Unfortunately, we had no internet.
I called Australia Online and was connected with Michael, who was absolutely outstanding. He patiently walked me through the setup again, checking every setting I had entered. When that didn’t resolve it, he asked me to plug in my old VDSL router, which quickly confirmed the issue was on the NBN side rather than anything we had done wrong.
What really impressed me was what he did next. Rather than leave us without internet, Michael reconfigured everything to get us back online via our existing FTTN connection – and then set up the Deco Mesh so that once the NBN issue was resolved, all we’d need to do the following morning was plug the Ethernet cable into the FTTP box.
Being in Perth while Australia Online is based on the East Coast, I woke up to a text saying it was all sorted. I unplugged the Deco from the FTTN, connected it to the NBN FTTP box, and within two minutes the light turned green. We had our new FTTP connection.
Michael spent two hours on the phone with me, never once showing any frustration at my limited technical knowledge – he simply focused on solving the problem. Genuinely exceptional service is rare these days, and it’s exactly why I’ve been a loyal Australia Online customer for over 10 years. This is just one example of the consistent care this company delivers.

Have been with AOL for 9 years and anytime have had an issue the technical support is instant. Michael called and followed up NBN fault after technician fixed. Followed by restoring service straight away. Would always recommend this ISP to anyone.

Have been using Australia Online for over 3 years, no issues and reliable internet. Just wish they had an online portal/login system so you could update your own payment info etc, as I know my payment option is expiring a few months and it’s a bit inconvenient that I’ll have to call them to update. They say they have one on their website but I was told on the phone when I signed up that there’s no online portal…

I have been a customer of Australia On Line longer than I can I remember. Over 15 years I think.
The only time I had to call them was notifying them of my new address, to disconnect old, and reconnect new location.
The Customer Service/Tech Support has always been impeccable. This is what I expect from an Australian base company. Professional, Direct, and no miscommunication.
Today I had my first internet issue connection, and it was resolved less than 5min after calling through to their tech support. And I was back on line after the incident.
One should never sit on the phone that feels like hours with an offshore call center where they want you to press multiple buttons just to speak to an operator, or explain your life history to them and answer a whole lot of useless questions to someone whose second language is English . Referring to some of the big advertisers such as TP@, Tels^#@, Opt@$, etc.
I am grateful that this company is based in Australia and is run locally. As skills and professionalism shows.

I cannot stress enough for most people to consider Australia On Line as their Service IP for Phone/Internet.

Just want to highlight Australia Online assisted with setting up my NBN connection amid otherwise potential unnecessary high costs and roadblocks that would of taken weeks or even months to complete. Australia Online staff were always available to answer my questions and provide guidance along the way.

I would like everyone to experience the wonderful relationship I have enjoyed with Australia On Line! It started well over 20 years ago when I got my first computer. I knew absolutely nothing about computers and "thanks be", I was somehow guided to AOL when I first spoke to Michael Bethune. The patience and caring of that man is unbelievable and outstanding, and I found the same to be true in all of the staff across all departments. They really taught me everything and set up all I needed, in most cases, remotely, from internet access, to email, etc.,etc. In most cases, my calls to AOL have been with no waiting and immediate connection to the proper dept., followed by professional, caring and accurate help. Every person I have spoken to at AOL is as Australian as I am, so never a problem with communication. These days, a company could be based anywhere ( or everywhere) in the world with no defined address or contact details giving customers no sense of confidence, care, trust or future support. Perhaps, an AI generated email robot with very limited scope, and offering no human contact at all. Australia on Line is a refreshing return to the "old days" of talking to each other with confidence, trust and caring. Thank you Michael and the AOL team. Where would I have been without you? Trying to fix a printing problem I incorrectly plugged my router. Michael rang me back after an initial call to solve the problem. Impressive customer service

I had a problem connecting our solar battery to wifi, it was out of range of the modem, AOL advised me to get a Wi-Fi extender and suggested what I would need, problem fixed.
I liked that they're in Australia and your not talking to someone over seas that you struggle to understand and quite likely may not be able to help you anyway.
