Hired them to help with relocation within Switzerland. Would recommend to stay as far as possible from them. They are simply completely disconnected from the customer needs or their business, real estate market. No customer focused service. They do their own thing whether it suits a customer or not. Like they can't do visits on your behalf because they are after their 9-5 pm working hours :-) and on weekends they don't work and they have no priority viewings or real estate connections. They are reluctant to get in touch with real estate agencies themselves. I was arranging all the viewings. But they still managed to charge me 4.500 CHF for no job done, so definitely a brilliant scam.

Used Packimpex to relocate to Germany. They are complete amateurs!

I hired Packimpex to help us with finding another flat to rent in Kuesnacht Zurich.

The overall experience was very negative. Starting with them confusing which location we were moving to, losing more than a week, the bigger issue was that they had absolutely no specific insights, in-depth market knowledge, or contacts (despite selling is the opposite) and were relying on the same platforms that anyone publicly would rely on. But charged several thousand for that.

The consultant organised 2-3 visits for me. I was reacting faster than them upon the flats coming to the market, organising my own meetings too.

I complained to the manager a couple of times - the last drop was when the consultant summarised the contract for us after I had already signed the contract and asked him to stop work on the matter. Apparently “ It was included in the package”.

The company did reimburse under 1/3 of the initial fee paid after me complaining, but I ended up still paying over two thousand and a half for 2-3 admin calls… I feel also very stupid for trusting them.

It may well be that this home finding service works better for people coming first time to live in Switzerland, but for people who already know the country, the rental market, speak ok German, this adds absolutely no value.

One learns I guess… I had used in the past other firms who performed at the expected level. Not Packimpex.

It is not often that one comes across a person who is 100% professional, and yet also a warm and extremely likeable human being. She is also very well placed in Switzerland, and its culture, making her assistance both vital and massive. A brilliant job Baerbel, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
