Last minute decision to go on a cruise but the cabin we really wanted kept disappearing of the system, possibly as it was the last one in that category. This was our first cruise F1 booking with Paramount cruises. Mo was very helpful and nice to chat with regarding cruise, flights, hotel and F1. Paramount was easy to contact and prompt with responding to our enquiries re changing flights and adding additional nights to hotel. It was useful to have communication by WhatsApp prior to an during our holiday with additional F1 information. All the staff were very nice and helpful with transfers to and from F1 circuit expertly managed. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole MSC cruise Barcelona F1 experience and would definitely book with Paramount cruises again.

Our 1st time using Paramount Cruises, Robin was very helpful, explaining everything and answering any questions I had. Our rep in Barcelona for the F1 Grand Prix was Leah, she was great, very friendly and helpful. Would have no problem recommending Paramount Cruises to others.

This was my second cruise with Paramount. It was with MSC and for the Barcelona Gran Prix. Robin was excellent in putting a package together for us which included extra nights after the race. There were 4 members of staff from Paramount in Barcelona to assist with the transfers to and from the race.

Robin Jones was so helpful from the moment I contacted paramount cruises about a holiday itinerary we wanted to do.
He was very responsive to my many questions!
He managed to get it to a budget we were happy with.
So Vancouver, virgin cruise & Las Vegas here we come!
This is our third paramount holiday and everything ran smoothly the last 2 hence why using them again.

Our experience so far has been excellent. We were responded to promptly when we placed our inquiry. Our Coordinator Robin was excellent in providing all relevant information and answering all questions. The booking and deposit payment process was seamless. So far so good! Hope it is smooth sailing the rest of the way.

Our 4th time booking with Tina from Paramount Cruises (this time for our honeymoon!) and everything was amazing as always! Such an easy booking process and Tina was so lovely and responsive. If anyone we know mentions a cruise we always recommend them booking via Paramount Cruises as their prices are always much cheaper than anywhere else. We can’t praise Robin high enough. He managed to secure a fantastic rate for our first river cruise on The Danube, saving us a whopping £4,000. It was only by chance that I perused their site. Robin was exceptionally helpful and professional making our booking easy. We are absolutely sure that we chose the right company to cruise with. Thank you so much Robin.

I would not recommend Paramount or use them again.

We booked a multi cabin cruise over a year out from sailing, under the assumption we were securing the best deal and also booking with an agent who had a great relationship with the cruise line.

A couple of months away from sailing, we noticed the total cost of the cruise had dropped by £4,000. Whilst the cruise line's own terms, as well as the terms of booking via other channels, allowed for at least future cruise credit to account for the difference, after some back and forth with Paramount, we established that this was not possible due to the terms Paramount had booked under. During this process, one of their managers told me on the phone "not all of our customers have the time to check prices every day" - a response which did not seem appropriate given the circumstances, nor professional. I would therefore argue they aren't able to always secure the best possible price and it was an expensive way of learning this.

Separately, we then experienced issues onboard with one of the cabins (which at the time of booking we specifically requested to be in a row) being moved to a noisy part of the ship. After following up, there was an immense amount of contradictory information coming from Paramount and the cruise line, which I have to be fair and say was eventually cleared up by the cruise line. However, Paramount did all they could to absolutely dissolve themselves of any responsibility or accountability. As the booking agent, they had a responsibility to monitor our booking.

Paramount are also happy to cherry-pick the cruise line's own terms when it works best for them; however in circumstances where you feel the cruise line's terms are appropriate to your booking, they have a reason as to why they do not apply.

Any issue we encountered was everyone else's problem, apart from Paramount's. At the very basic level of basic service delivery, they failed.

EDIT IN RESPONSE TO PARAMOUNT’S REPLY:

Regarding accountability: The cruise line also stated that Paramount, as the booking agent, shared a fundamental responsibility to monitor our booking for changes—a duty they failed to perform.

Regarding "no further communication": Paramount's final email to me literally stated: "I just want to use this email to close the loop from our side and make the position clear... ." I posted this review after they explicitly shut the door on us and ended the conversation.

Regarding their "considerable efforts" for a goodwill resolution: This is entirely false as they never mentioned it. In writing, Paramount’s exact words to me were: "Paramount will not be offering separate financial compensation in relation to this matter. Any goodwill resolution will come from Virgin Voyages directly." They did not pursue anything for us; they washed their hands of us.
