Terrible experience! They demand payment upfront and deliver inaccurate estimates that don't match with the plans and specifications that have been provided. Won't respond to emails and only communicate through WhatsApp. I wish I'd done more research before trusting them with my estimates and money.

I wouldn’t recommend Paramount Estimating for cost estimates or material take-offs. After cross-checking their estimate against the issued drawings and schedules, I identified multiple material accuracy issues, including quantity/scope mismatches (roof cladding, ceiling lining and several floor-finish areas), omissions (ceiling insulation and two domestic water tanks), and inconsistencies with the door/window schedules. They also included items that weren’t specified, which significantly inflated the estimate.

Their pricing came in close to double what I’ve since received from actual trades, and the inaccurate take-offs only compounded the overstatement. Given the number and significance of the discrepancies, I couldn’t rely on the estimate for budgeting and requested a full refund, which to date has not been addressed.

I am a semi-retired Quantity Surveyor in the UK with 50 years experience initially in private practice followed by 30 years working for contractors so I know what I'm talking about - DON'T USE THIS COMPANY !!
My builder client appointed them to prepare an estimate for a straightforward, small house extension (quoting under £200 !!! how can anyone produce a professional take off & costs for that - covers 4 hours at best) - he sent me their document and I filled a full page with errors, omissions and questions to which they responded they would check my concerns - guess what a month later no response - I emailed them again a week ago suggesting they should refund their fee and again no reply.
Paramount - I have kept copies of the enquiry, your fee quote, the estimate and the following emails so please don't bother challenging my comments as being false.

Absolutely! They were incredibly punctual and meticulous in their attention to detail. Their performance was excellent and I'll certainly recommend them to others without hesitation.

I used to spend a lot of time pricing my jobs and was mildly intrigued to explore this avenue of outsource estimating. Luckily, I got their email before holidays and just tried their services for a couple of extensions. I'm pleased with the results so far. I won't hesitate to recommend others.

I 'have been trying out their services off and on for past couple of months and I'd say the estimates were up to the mark and value for money.

We are a mid-sized commercial firm. I compared multliple estimating services simultaneously, and they did a nice job at the fair, going rate. Quantities were accurate. (If you rely on others for pricing, you probably shouldn't be in business). I am very pleased with Paramount's product and will use them again in the future.

Quantity takeoff is more widely used outside of the US; why does a quantity surveyor need to be US based?

They are fake. Based in Pakistan. Pretending to be in the US, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. They use virtual phone numbers while sitting in Pakistan to make fool all the customers. I used to talk with one of their members and figured it out within a second. Don't get fool, guys.

Edit: "M Cornish" Above: So you feel the same right? They aren't US-based. I lived in Austin for almost 7 years and have friends in there, their office doesn't exist physically. How can we trust them to pay money online? Lol!!! We aren't goons!

I just got an email that you guys finally responded to my feedback and it took two years straight.
No! You guys are running your services like a call center! People are smart enough now. Even if you call them right now, there will be a Pakistani guy with a typical accent who will be found behind the call. It is very hard to communicate with them. Total waste of time.
My review is verified by the trust pilot team because I’ve provided all the requested details to them. Stay away from paramount estimating. They are NOT legit. Scammers!!!!!
