I have had most of my rooms fitted with these excellent quality carpets, some have been down for more than twenty years and they still look good.

Update on our awful experience with this company. After the “independent” inspector told us the fading, flattening and wear on our 3 month old penthouse carpet was due to us not hoovering it enough. Followed by our supplier trying very hard to get Penthouse to engage in some actual customer service over the poor 80% wool carpet they had supplied. The company have offered nothing. They were not prepared to admit that their product is really poor quality or offer any compensation. Our lovely carpet supplier has replaced the carpet at their own expense and the new (Wilton royal charter Berber deluxe) 80% wool carpet that has been fitted is fantastic. We are so grateful that the awful penthouse carpet has gone it looked so worn and faded by the time it was replaced which was less than a year after it was laid. Really don’t buy this product, the positive reviews all refer to samples being sent quickly. Read the reviews for actual carpet on the floor I certainly wish we had.

re-carpeting house, ordered samples but they were never sent so can't really give more than 1 star. Went with another company who did bother to send out samples. My concern would be if they can't even be bothered to send samples how bad will they be to deal with later, not worth the risk is my conclusion

The reviews posted are all about samples and the ones posted regarding the carpets are negative. I have purchased 80% wool carpets three years ago and besides shredding for about a year thereafter, I had another problem with a rogue black wool. This changed the carpet colour completely from a flat all over french grey. Two attempts later and the carpet still has a problem. Penthouse will not deal direct with the public if you have purchased your carpet from a retailer/tradesmen. So beware, as if you don't get any joy from them you certainly won't from Penthouse. I would also say the quality of their wool carpet is poor and I really can't see it lasting 15 years, in fact probably it will last a few at best and has already faded!

Penthouse Carpets always deliver on goods and service

Penthouse carpets have gone more than the extra mile to help me. I bought my carpet, the best one I’ve ever had, eight years ago, and I had to have my fireplace removed which left bare floor where the fireplace have been. I called them, hoping they would be able to help me repair my carpet. They sent me free of charge a piece of my carpet, which they still make to repair my whole, which is saving me having to buy a complete new carpet. I cannot believe this company have done, and I thanked them very very much indeed.
