It was great for keeping both parties connected. Also keeping you informed of payment and not releasing the money till you had picked up your pet. The whole experience went smoothly and would recommend to a friend.

Never used Pets4homes before but found the whole process easy to follow, contacted the breeder and had a facetime call and was able to meet the week old pups, we then arranged a convenient time to go and choose our pup at 5 weeks old and had plenty of messages where I could ask questions. Payment was easy I used the links to pay the deposit and then confirmed collection and payment on the day we collected our 8 week old goldador puppy called Norris.

Pets4homes is easy to use website for any one looking for a pet.I am looking for puppy/or to rehome a dog - not sure what breed so the information given regarding different breeds is invaluable.

I’m incredibly disappointed with Pets4homes. We sadly lost our beloved 3 year old cocker spaniel 5 months ago. The loss of our beloved dog has caused tremendous pain and sadness for our family and especially my kids who cries every day.After having made the decision to look for another dog and open our hearts to receive and to give love to a furry family member we found this precious puppy from a lady at Pets4homes.
Today I got in touch with a seller named Lydia Smith. She was super insistent about me paying her via cash only…. I said NO (red flag straight away). She then asked me to pay via transfer I said no again.At the end she set it up so I could pay her via Pets4homes. I paid the deposit supposed to be £300 and Pets4homes took £423.50. I thought thats odd but might be a portion added for some reason.
After paying I carried on chatting with the seller about what day I could pick her up etc. She then was like “I can bring her to you”. I didn’t like that because I wanted to see the puppy with the mother(the one on the photo).She started insisting on talking over the phone and could she call me?mSo I said ok. After she hang up something didn’t seem right so I googled the photo and turns out she advertised the same puppy on Freeads along other dogs but with a completely different mother. Also the puppies were supposed to be having their mum milk but the photo looked fabricated or not even real as the supposed mother had boobies totally flat (not filled with milk). My instincts were right and this breeder is NOT genuine. She is not following the Pets4homes policy guidelines and her account should be taken down. I have emailed them several times throughout the day without any response from them so far and guess what? Her advert is still up which means she’s still trying to sell that puppy and surely scamming others on the platform. Pets4homes must take action NOW and prohibit her from selling dogs. This is disturbing and disgusting behaviour from this woman. I’m waiting to hear back from them and get my money back or I will escalate this matter.

It lovely to have a safe place to look for dogs or pups rather than out there in the Wild West!!!

We found the pet we wanted easily, and were able to decide the search radius to our liking. When we found our pet the transaction with the breeders was safe, easy and the whole experience gave us confidence in the process

Pets 4Homes provided me with an excellent service. It gave me the information I needed before I committed to the breed of cat we wanted and how to prepare for bringing the kitten home. It provided all the tools to safely communicate, arrange viewings and and pay the breeder we eventually got our kitten from and even provided insurance as part of their service (small charge) which gave me peace of mind. The adverts contain all the details you would want to know about the breeder as well as the pet you're enquiring about including their age, vaccine and treatment status etc. The website was easy to use, whether from the laptop browser or on my mobile phone. They made the whole process of getting my new kitten simple, can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic advice and guidance in buying a pet. Great to have the assurance of a cover plan and safe purchasing via the links on the webpage. The webpage is easy to navigate. We particularly loved the option for breeders to provide individual photos of kittens in the litter with more details about them and their availability. The kittens we visited had all been exactly as advertised and the breeders were all most helpful.

The information provided and support by staff is excellent in helping you find what you are looking for dog , cat etc

I have used the site for many years and it has provided me with some excellent puppies over the years and wonderful members of my family. I would always recommend to anyone looking for an expert pet

I was browsing the internet for a new pet as mine passed away last year.
The site is very easy to follow. And as yet ive only contacted one owner, sadly that dog was already in advanced meetings to be rehomed.
But i had no hasstle no pushyness no unwanted emails or calls.
Ive passed on my experience to a family member and hopefully soon ill find the dog that suits us both.

Avoid - can't even send an enquiry message without uploading photos of ID documents and agreeing to pay through their own platform; used to be good but now just another money making platform (and not for the dog breeders!)

Pets4Homes are a brilliant service which helps potential dog owners discover their 'Forever' pet. I like this because payments have to be totally transparent and honest. It has helped me find a pet long ago and has found a very compatible dog now after my previous pet passed due to severe arthritis after 12 years.

Absolutely appalling service! £309 missing despite paying £109 for payment protection!

I paid £309 for a puppy deposit through Pets4Homes, including their £109 payment protection fee. Their website redirected me to my banking app, where I authorised the payment. The money left my account, and my bank has confirmed it reached the recipient account.

However, Pets4Homes failed to register the payment, forcing me to pay ANOTHER £309 by debit card!

£618 has now left my account for a £309 transaction!

Despite explaining this to customer support, I’ve been fobbed off with a generic response confirming they’ve received my payment. Yes, the CARD payment — WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER £309?!

What exactly is the £109 payment protection fee protecting customers from if Pets4Homes cannot even account for payments made through its own system?

Absolutely disgraceful. I want my £309 refunded immediately and a proper investigation, not another dismissive response!

I had been looking online for pup after the loss of our 18 year old cat we just lost. I came across pets4 homes and found the perfect puppy we all agreed and went for it. Will be picking it up on Tuesday so I feel the site helps even with safe payment system so all in all I've had a very good service.

The whole process was easy from start to finish. The massaging service made it easy to keep In touch with the seller. The payment system is safe and secure.
