Pho Harborne is a Vietnamese Restaurant/ cafe.
Really friendly staff who serve quickly and are knowlegeable about their food.
I have eaten many times in the Restaurant and had many deliveroos. Both are always swift , tasty and hot.

We had an amazing server called Owen at the Bristol restaurant, he really brought the vibe and gave us great recommendations. He really made our evening. The food was also super tasty and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend the chicken curry noodle soup and the Nojito was also delicious!

I visited Pho at The Brunswick Centre in Russell Square (Unit 8, Bernard St, London WC1N 1BS) and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with my takeaway order.

The noodles had a really odd taste and were completely different from what I’m used to. I regularly eat at other Pho locations and have never had this issue before, so I knew immediately that something wasn’t right.

I politely raised the issue with the manager and asked if I could either have the noodles replaced or receive a refund. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, he refused both options and had a very poor and dismissive attitude. I tried to explain that I’m familiar with Pho’s food and that the noodles at their other locations taste completely different, but he didn’t seem interested in listening or finding a solution.

I was also really disappointed with the takeaway portion size. The portion I received was noticeably smaller than the portions served when eating in, despite paying for the same meal. Customers ordering takeaway shouldn’t feel like they’re getting less for their money.

As someone who normally enjoys Pho and visits other branches, this experience was particularly disappointing. The food issue could have been easily resolved with a replacement, but the manager’s attitude and refusal to help made the situation much worse.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this particular location based on my experience.

I have been a customer (click & collect) of the Leicester branch a few times and the first few times were very enjoyable, but recently things have gone downhill... I ordered a classic curry but received the chilli version, the time before last was so overly salty that it was barely edible (I gave them the benefit of the doubt that time) and the iced coffee was not very sweet like usual. Then the last and final time (today), the online ordering was not working as they hadn't logged in on time, the pork was nearly black and tough and worst of all there was a HAIR inside the lid of one of the plastic takeaway containers which is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE when it comes to food. Because we live 35 minutes away, we did not return the food when we should have - we will not now be returning. Perhaps they do not want our custom - fine by me!

Ate here when I was visiting london on a quick trip. Food was great but the staff were not as responsive as I would have wanted. Nonetheless, fair prices

We use Pho Cardiff regularly and can only praise the staff there. My wife is veggie and coeliac and they always ask and manage her situation excellently. Admittedly a large proportion of the menu is gluten free but we always are asked and feel they really care, they are happy to modify meals also, removing sauces to the side when requested or modifying meals to suit our tastes and needs. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if coeliac and veggie. We are looking forward to our next visit!

I’m not really happy to write this review because I’ve been eating loads of pho and sometimes visit it in different towns with my family but Just to let you know guys that I’ve ordered phone Hanoi with extra shrimp paste and instead I’ve received pho steak with veggie stock ( you could put chicken stock instead at least ).
Instead of shrimp paste you just gave me the standard chilli paste that you have.
I used to work in pho kitchen myself and I know what I’m ordering, this was my last time I’ve ordered pho.

However the chicken wings came out right.

I have always had such a wonderful experience with Pho. We went to the Canterbury one and few times and loved the food and the service. A recent visit around December took us to the Borough one and the staff were so friendly, even sorting our dog out a bowl of food! Thank you Pho

The worst restaurant meal I have ever had. Microwave broth, over cooked noodles and reheated chicken. The stir fry was one plate of onions. Please don’t make the same mistake we did.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. I had the beef rice bowl which was very tasty. Yes there was a gratuity added but the staff earned it.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was a bit meh, wouldn’t be in a rush to go back.

Had a very nice and reasonably priced meal at their Bluewater outlet. The food quality was alright and the service was fast and friendly.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal at Pho Cardiff, thanks to consistently excellent service from our waiter, Victor, who looked after us throughout.

From the outset, Victor was attentive, calm and generous in his approach. When a children’s menu order arrived incorrectly, he immediately invited us to keep the dish and ensured the correct one was brought out promptly and without fuss.

Later, I ordered a dish I had admired at another table, only to realise it wasn’t quite to my taste — entirely my own error. Despite this, Victor insisted on having it removed from the bill, a gesture that went far beyond what was necessary.

As my daughter gets a student discount at Pho, I had planned to give that saving as an additional tip in recognition of the exceptional service we received. However, when I asked to add more, Victor politely declined, explaining that the service charge already included was more than sufficient. That level of integrity and professionalism is rare and deeply impressive.

Warm, thoughtful service throughout, genuinely good food, and a dining experience marked by care and honesty. I cannot recommend Pho highly enough.

Our takeaway was absolutely dreadful. The starter-to be shared-Seafood Spring Roll was burnt and had no lettuce as in the picture. The Pho Chicken Noodle Soup came with some rotting herbs but was plentiful. The Wok Fried Noodles Chicken and Prawn not only looked very unappetising but wasn’t enough to feed a small child and was a lump thrown into the box

First time trying Pho on a visit to Bluewater shopping centre.The food , service and ambience was excellent and I couldn’t fault anything. Never had Vietnamese food before so we were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress Kayla was exceptional and so attentive . Nothing was too much trouble. She is a credit to herself and the restaurant and well worth the tip. Definitely going again. Well worth a visit.

Our family always eat in Pho everytime we’re in Gunwharf. However, today’s experience is far different from our previous visits. We are group of 6 (3kids/adults). We came in around 5:40 pm and ordered our food. We ordered 4 kids meal and 6 starters + prawn crackers as the adults don’t feel like eating a big meal. I specifically said to our server if they can serve all the food at the same time. They served the drinks included in the kids meal straight away. Starters came in 10 mins after, we thought kids meal will be arriving shortly. However, after 15 mins of waiting. Our server came to us and ask how’s the food. I said we are still waiting for the kid’s meal. She went to the kitchen and when she came back to me. She said they’ve lost the other paper as there were 2 papers she gave to them. She re assured me that they preparing the food by that time. However, another 15 mins pass and still our food hasn’ arrived. Finally, Ewa ( who was the lady in charge that day) came and about to give us a totally different kid’s meal. By that time my son is already crying as he was really hungry. I went to the serving area and asked when is the food coming and what’s happening and why there’s a long delay. She denied that they lost the paper (which I assume that had the kid’s meal order). I insists that was not the case as per the server’s advise earlier. There were no apologies at all coming from the staff and even from Ewa who is in charge that day. After they served the kid’s meal after (almost 35 mins of waiting ). I noticed that they forgot to include rice in my son’s skewer chicken nugget. I called one of the server and told him they forgot the rice. He talked to the man who is not in black uniform, I assume he’s one of the senior that day. After that he came back to me and said rice is not included in the meal. I even needed to show to him the menu to pinpoin that rice is included. He came back and gave the rice. Again at that point no apologies from the staff. I hope their staff will have a better approach in this situation. There’s no customer service at all! And to Ewa who is in charge that day, you could have handled the concern appropriately but instead you chose not to care at all!!! You don’t deserve the service charge you are charging your customers!!!!

Had a takeaway from Pho Bournemouth. It was absolutely fantastic - exactly as it was when I had it in one of their restaurants. The quality of the food is first class.

Whilst I cannot fault the food, our recent experience was both embarrassing and handled extremely poorly by the staff and subsequently by the regional manager when we raised concerns.

If you are old school like me, I like to tip and reward good service, but take exception to an automatic assumption that 12.5% for service is added to every bill, irrespective of the service received. It is not a nice feeling to ask for the charge to be removed, so you can choose what you would like to leave.

We were accused of not paying, when we had, we also had asked the restaurant to hold a takeaway as we were going to the cinema, only to return and they had thrown it away. Bearing in mind this was our property, bought and paid for, no effort was made to replace it, either at the time or subsequently following our complaint to head office.

I have given the restaurant 2 opportunities to offer to replace our food that they disposed of and they failed to take the initiative. Much as the food is superb, we will not be returning to a restaurant that chooses to treat it's customers in this way.
