I have now used Poly Bound twice for the supply of rubber crumb, and both experiences have been incredibly disappointing.
On the first order, they delivered the wrong colour, which delayed the project by a week. This meant a school playground remained closed for longer than planned and cost my business thousands of pounds. To make matters worse, after delivering the correct colour, they failed to collect the incorrect rubber. It sat on my driveway for around six weeks before they finally collected it.
Despite that experience, I decided to give them a second chance. Before placing the order, I was promised delivery within three days. The delivery was then pushed back by a day, which would be forcing my team to work late and over the weekend in an attempt to keep the project on schedule so another school could reopen on time.
Today, I was informed that delivery has been delayed by a further three days. This now means we cannot complete the installation or hand the project over on time. The delay has also prevented us from starting other booked projects and has once again put a major school contract at risk.
These repeated failures have cost my business thousands of pounds, disrupted our programme, and damaged our relationship with an important client. Mistakes happen, but the same failures twice, combined with broken promises and poor communication, are simply unacceptable.
I will never use Poly Bound again. They have cost my business thousands in unnecessary delays and put two major school projects at risk. If your project relies on deliveries arriving when promised, avoid this company and use another supplier. I certainly wish I had.

We accept that on your first order we made a picking error, and we also took far too long to collect the incorrect material. That wasn't the level of service we expect from ourselves.
Regarding your second order, we appreciate how disappointing the delay was after we had given you an expected delivery date. While some delays are outside of our control, we understand that doesn't lessen the impact on your project. I believe your order has now been delivered, but we appreciate that this was later than expected and won't undo the disruption it caused.
We value your feedback, even though it's difficult to read, and we're sorry we've let you down on more than one occasion. We'll be reviewing what happened internally to help prevent situations like this from happening again. If you're willing, we'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly.

With absolutely fantastic customer service services from it prompts me to write this.
My contact, Hamzah, gave advice regarding a DIY project for a resin driveway repair, and within 24 hours replaced a leaking resin container damaged during shipping.
Sadly, this is only for a minimum quantity however would have no question for a large order placement with this company.
Absolutely fantastic service.

Incorrect items delivered, twice.
Order 3 10kg bags of brown rubber mulch, 3 10kg bags of beige mulch delivered. Contacted to get the correct items delivered. Slow and inconsistent responses. Asked whether the incorrect items would be collected, never acknowledged this particular question. Email comms said would re delivery in 2-3 days, then heard no further info. Followed up 10 days later and without discussion or agreement received comms from delivery company whilst away. Again 3 10kg bags of beige mulch delivered. Emailed for refund, no acknowledgement but a refund received (only positive). But now left with 60kg of a product we didn’t want.

You are right that this should have been handled better. Delivering the incorrect colour twice is not the standard we expect, and we appreciate how disappointing it must have been to still be left with material you did not originally order.
We apologise that communication was not as clear or consistent as it should have been, particularly around arranging the collection of the incorrect items and keeping you updated on the replacement delivery.
We are pleased that the refund was processed, but we understand this does not fully resolve the inconvenience caused. We have shared this feedback with our team to review the process and help prevent similar issues happening again.

Bad experience with polybound
Bad experience with polybound. I ordered a 2m wide role of geo grid and they sent out a 1m wide cut in half (not even a good job cutting it in half)
When I called and mentioned this they just fobbed me off saying that’s how they get it. So I wouldn’t use this company as they sell you one thing and deliver you another!

We completely understand why this was frustrating if you were expecting a single 2m wide roll. Our geogrid is supplied in 1m wide rolls, so we always provide the total square metreage ordered using multiple lengths.
