Terrible After Sales Customer Service

Staff was very rude, very profit based attitude.
I bought the zip cloud hoodies and consulted with the customer service of popflex in finding my size. After purchasing, I received the items and saw that they were too big.

I usually buy my jackets in Medium or Large as I am 5’7ft, and their L | XL size is WAAAAY too big. I had to keep on haggling with customer service to find a common solution, and they are very policy and profit sided as opposed to caring for their customer’s experience.

Even with returns, it was such a hassle as they did not give any clear details on what their address was, or what their contact number was, nor did they provide a receiver name which DHL international required me to provide.

Even asking for these information, staff was VERY RUDE and this was the first time I actually felt the frustration when it comes to shopping. Their return labels was not properly made as my address overlapped the postage stamp, when I asked for some clarifications, customer service was no help and displayed bad behavior.

After reaching out to their instagram multiples times, they finally offered me a 30% discount code for me to be able to buy the Zip Cloud Hoodies at the price I originally bought them with. But take note, this is after I haggled it out of them.

Overall, the anxiety, the hassle, and the frustration I felt gives this shopping experience a 1/5. If I could give a 0/5 I would. I considered repurchasing this item again on S | M size hoping it would fit correctly, but I decided to just take my hoodies to my local tailor, maybe they can help me better than Popflex can. I gave Popflex Active multiple chances to make this a better shopping experience. The rudeness of customer service prevailed when I asked for some shipping information for my return, and so I decided I will NEVER support Popflex Active again. Shame on your customer service team. Terrible after sales.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I ordered two of the same items during a promotional sale. I received an email a week later that there was an inventory issue with one of the items and that they refunded the item. I asked if I could get the item in a different color. They refused to assist, stating that I would have to reorder, which would result in paying more for the item. It feels like a scam to require customers to pay more for items ordered during a sale. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Just state plainly where the items are made

I don't understand why they just can't be open with where their clothes are manufactured. Or rather, I understand it because apparently lot of the items are manufactured in China. Just put it on the website. Lots of companies these days are open with manufacturing country and state it plainly on the page of the item. The clothes look great and I really would like a hoodie but I don't want to buy stuff that is manufactured in China. It's a closed country, a dictatorship. It will be impossible to guarantee that the workers are treated fairly. Stop giving a dictatorship money. On the website there's lots of text on fast fashion and the environment and so on. Just seems like rambling trying to cover up information that people are interested in.

I live in Canada and they refunded an…

I live in Canada and they refunded an order because the size ran out. I asked if they could change the size and include it in my package but they told me they couldn't and still shipped it out. When I message them about cancelling the order they told me they could not fix the order or cancel it since it was already "shipped". I wish they just canceled my order and refunded me. I have no idea how it was already shipped when they refunded me an item.

International Customers: You pay more to return than what you paid for the products and customer service was not helpful

I've been a big fan of Popflex and Cassey for a long time and made previous purchases to which I was happy with.

My recent order I found the items too big for me unfortunately despite reading tons of reviews about the sizing. I bought the Zipcloud Hoodie in the smallest size and I felt like I was being eaten alive... I guess I'm just too small. The products were nice but sleeves were too long etc.

I decided to return them knowing I needed to pay, but I did not expect to have to pay more than what I actually paid for the items just to return them. I was quoted USD$126 to return the items when I paid $105 for the products & shipping fee total. Shipping the order to me was USD$15 but this did not include priority/insurance etc. But if you want to return it, all of that would be included in their return label because if there's chance that your shipment gets damaged or lost, you will not be able to get the refund.

I understand shipping internationally is expensive, however they do not put any estimate quotation anywhere on their Help Center. Obviously you may be turned off as a customer if they are transparent about it and may be scared to purchase from them again in the future, because that's what happened to me. I was prepared to lose some money to return but not all of my money and be at a loss. I've worked in customer service and I've also run a small business before. Personally I wouldn't even offer this as an option or even consider having certain countries on my shipping list if I know I cannot provide better rates for my customers. Or for the very least, I would be transparent about it on my website saying that it may be more expensive to return. Honesty and trust with customers is so important and I have lost my trust in this brand just because of this experience.

Initially I thought the return cost quotation was a mistake and I messaged customer service but they were not really helpful and they did not provide any flexibility outside of the 30 day return window. They did provide me with a generic return label so I could choose my own courier but they ignored a lot of my questions and sent me cookie cutter email templated responses.

I sent it back in the end with my courier of choice and I'll be able to receive at least 50% of what I paid. This is only because of connections that let me have 75% off the shipping rate, otherwise it would have been also $100+ USD. It's just not worth it to purchase and send it back. You'll most likely end up stuck with the items with no real help from customer service if you don't have any affordable options.

They did tell me to try their Popcycle platform and other customers told me to try reselling them but honestly, that's also a hassle to go through. It depends on how you want to spend your time/money just to deal with clothes that don't fit you.

I was mainly disappointed with the customer service though overall and the lack of transparency and communication. I appreciate explanations and would understand but they didn't even explain anything to me. It just felt like they were trying to get me off their backs as quickly as possible and move onto the next customer. Big fans may overlook all this and I might have as well but the experience was just so detrimental to the image I've had of them all this time. Great marketing and products are somewhat decent but I won't be returning as a customer unfortunately.

Felt like I had been scammed

I received an email from popflex regarding my shipment. It stated that there was a failed delivery attempt and that I needed to contact their carrier to organise the delivery. I hadn’t received any contact from their carrier (DHL) about a failed attempt nor had an attempt taken place. So I used the tracking number provided, and on the DHL route tracking found that my shipment had been sent to Ireland (correctly) by then was sent to Poland ,where presumably they couldn’t deliver the shipment. I can’t contact the carrier and when I went to contact popflex for help, as in replied to the email I had just received, I immediately got another email stating that my email address had been blocked. I honestly feel as though I’ve been scammed.

Horrid quality and customer service

Popflex used to be great (long time customer here) but the quality has dropped at the same rate the prices have increased. Don’t be fooled— this is now a company with the same quality as very cheap brands like Temu and Halara, but ten times the price.

My leggings, hoodie, mats and bag (which was almost $200!) bought within the last few years all began falling apart within a few months. The top layer started peeling off the mats within a few weeks, same happened with the bag after a few months and after a year it looks like a frumpy mess. My $60-70 leggings and hoodie started pilling only after days of light use! It’s just SO BAD quality.

I emailed customer service but they say they’ve never heard these issues reported. When I check the feedback section, others have reported the exact same.

I was expecting too much of a heavily…

I was expecting too much of a heavily advertise poplflex twirling dress and paid a hefty price.
Unfortunately I’m less than happy with somehow cheep material used for a shorts . The light of the shots is such that when you are walking it’s rolling upwards and you have to fix it all the time.

Schon oft bei Popflex bestellt

Bei Popflex habe ich schon mehrere Male bestellt und bin100% zufrieden. Wenn man etwas kleines bestellt, kommt die Bestellung innert kurzer Zeit an. Grössere Päckchen dauern gut einen Monat, aber das Ganze kommt auch aus den USA.
Die Qualität der Produkte ist super. Auf der Seite findet man alle Grössenangaben und Empfehlungen, die man braucht und der Kundenservice ist sehr hilfsbereit.
Kann die negativen Berichte nicht verstehen.

I bought 4 runsies during the warehouse sale because i was so excited and I’ve been wanting to buy them for the longest time. They arrived and i tried on the black one and as I was trying to pull it on, the sheer part of it ripped!!! I hadn’t even worn it properly yet. The way my heart broke !! After buying items worth 306€ and paying an additional 160€ on custom clearance. And the support team offered me a 25% refund on the ripped runsie which is barely even anything !!!! It’s just so unfair. I’m so disappointed !

Quality Not Worth The Hassle of Bad Service

Omg! My first order from popflex was AWFUL. My receipt had my full address, but they did not include my full address on the mailing label. The package got lost and not only were they not helpful, they were rude. They lied and kept insisting they had confirmed that the full address was on the label. When I finally got the item, guess what? Half the address was missing. Also, the dress was Halara quality for Lululemon prices, 100 times the hassle of Halara, and way less cute than Halara. Popflex is a HARD PASS FOR ME.

This company is not for the customer

This company is not for the customer! Their customer service team will NOT make an exceptions under any circumstances if you’re past the return window. They also won’t let you speak to a manager when requested. I’ve worked in customer service for 10 years so I know you’re supposed to try and at least work with the customer to come to a solution but this company doesn’t care about that at all! So disappointing. Never buying from them again. Now I’m stuck with a pair of leggings that don’t fit me at all and were never used!!

Not happy, Jan.

Both times I ordered I followed their sizing chart exactly. The first time was uncomfortably big but could be overlooked as they were oversized items and the postage back would have been almost the same as a possible refund and not worth it. (Over $200!)

Ordered 16/04, Delivered: 01/05
The next was so small it was ridiculous. I am a 14/16 Australian ordered the XL as advised and what came was the equivalent of a size 10 pushing 12 AU. ($122 AUD order)

I set out to return the leggings, an unfriendly process if you're Australian as you pay return shipping, another $30ish for a pair of light leggings. Posted the item and it was delivered just over a week ago 13/05, no refund. I have had to contact them and chase it up. Edit: They have just now processed a refund for leggings and am waiting upto 7 days before its back in my bank

Hundreds of dollars wasted on subpar clothing that has worse that has worse sizing than the "non descript" cheap brands on eBay or amazon. Considering how expensive it is I would have expected better service both in quality and in the returns process.

Small credit where due: After I left a review with photo evidence after I started the return process they did offer a 25%off a future purchase. At this point I just what money back I can for the leggings.

Lesson learnt. Will never recommend them, will never buy from them again.

Their customer service is terrible

Their customer service is terrible. I returned items and requested a refund for said items and they sent me the exact items back for an "exchange". They refuse to resolve the issue for me and now I'm stuck with clothes that are too small and having to make a dispute for the charges with my bank. Terrible company and the size charts aren't accurate!

TOP immer wieder gern

Ich habe Popflex über Instagram kennengelernt. Dort sowie auf YouTube habe ich nur positive Erfahrungen gefunden. Als ich bestellen wollte, bin ich hier auf die ganzen negativen Kommentare gestoßen. Ich war mit nicht mehr ganz sicher ob ich bestellen sollte.
Wollte das ganze trotzdem für mich selbst testen und habe dort bestellt. Innerhalb eines Tages habe ich die Versandbestätigung erhalten. Nach 11 Tagen ist es dann schließlich angekommen. Ich kann leider überhaupt nicht verstehen warum so viele schreiben, dass die Qualität schlecht sei. Ich bin top zufrieden.
Keine losen Fäden oder aufgehende Nähte.
Auch der Stoff ist super soft.
Werde definitiv nochmals bestellen.

It's a small, awkward world...

Their products (I purchased a bra and yoga pants) run a full size small even though you're given a sizing chart to help you select the correct size. Returns are awkward. I actually wanted to exchange the way-too-small pants for a better size, but they were out of the size I needed. After that fail, I tried to exchange the pants for a different top instead, but I was only given the option to exchange pants for pants. That's a lost sale right there.
