By first greeting the customers and smiling to everyone it does not matter whether your skin is. I love the stuff in the shop but the only way going to stop me going there is some of the staff.

I went in to get a mixer. The lady came across and asked if she could help. I explained what I needed and why. She smiled and walked off. It was very odd. John Lewis got my money instead. I went back later for a tray and the younger lady was far more helpful

Popped in to the new shop rather than…
Popped in to the new shop rather than use online. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff as had an involved discussion re chef's knives, learnt a lot, and will return when have more time to try out the knife I was interested in store. Chief's knives are a personal thing and not every knife sits well in each person's hand and the way they use them. So trying it out in store is a great option. Obviously whilst there picked up one of those small items I didn't know I needed it until I saw it! Dough blade - so useful!
