Great advice replacing my projector

I contacted Just Projectors to replace an old projector in my village hall, they were really knowledgable and found me a Panasonic projector that looks so much better than our old one! A+ from me.

Ghosted - Gone out of business?

We bought four Epson projectors from Just Projectors and dealt with Operation Manager, Peter Tucker. Unfortunately, two of the four projectors are faulty even after 'repair' by Epson. Like the other two reviewers this month, I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Peter and all other contacts via email, landline and mobile but have been ghosted. My guess is that they've gone out of business.

I think they've gone bust

I think they've gone bust. DO NOT BUY

I bought a projector from them a month ago, luckily it arrived, but it had the wrong plug and was damaged in transit.

They have not responded to any emails, the chat is now down, phone lines are down.

Seems like they have gone bust to me.

Ghosts..

I placed an order on the 10th October, the item arrived on the 13th for a one day hire and was returned as agreed on the 15th.

It is now 10th November and I am still waiting for my deposit refund of £200.

Calls/emails are not being answered, live chat function on the website has been disabled. Has this company gone out of business?

The service received when ordering was fantastic but they’ve turned into ghosts..

Have been in contact with firm and had a lot of help from Ross in choosing projector. Recently he stopped replying to emails and now no one answers the phone. Website shows everything is out of stock. Hope they are ok as looks like something has happened.

DO NOT PUTCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

I purchased a projector and paid for next day delivery.
I did not receive my order and could not contact anyone. After a week I was finally told a dispatch date could not be given so I requested cancellation and a full refund. I got the same item elsewhere next day.
It's now OVER 3 WEEKS and I still havn't got my money back. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE

Hi David. I believe you spoke to Peter earlier today and he confirmed that he had processed the refund. I am sorry there was a delay. It was over 3 weeks and we had skeleton staff due to a significant event and as family firm this impacts all of us. That meant I was not available to approve your refund. I am sorry that caused you a delay.

DO NOT USE

Like the other most recent review, I placed and paid for my order on September 19th. Since then nothing,

I have emailed multiple times and called every phone number I can find with absolutely no response.

I had used them before and had no problems so I'm unsure what has gone wrong.

For the time being I would avoid, I won't be using them again.

Factual honest review of what might happen but with some balance

First interaction with company positive, Peter helped my identify some choices based on budget and emailed a couple of suggestions very promptly. On the 21st September I placed an order online, system slightly strange as you place the order but they then send you an invoice with payment options.

Started to go slightly wrong at this stage as I had to chase for the invoice but arrived with an apology Tuesday. I made payment Tuesday and expected to get confirmation of the order being processed but nothing arrived so was suspicious. Thursday evening I started to write an email and noticed online in my account that the order had been cancelled so asked what was going on as 18 were showing in stock. No response Friday but given the company had £780 of my money I chased via the online chat twice on the Friday. First time Ross on the chat said Peter had stepped away from his desk but someone would get back to me Friday afternoon. 4pm nothing so went back on the chat with Ross again, no help and said someone from customer services would be in touch. No one got back to me so Friday evening I emailed to say I no longer wanted the product and asked for refund or if this was not forth coming I would seek redress through section 75 credit card protection.

It's now Tuesday 30th 5pm as I write this, still no one has contacted me and no money has been returned.

Take from this what you will but at face value they have taken my money and bar the communications I have initiated with them no one has reached out to me since the invoice being issued on the 23rd September so I still have no idea what happened or what is going on or if they intend to try steal £780 from me. What I actually think happened is they changed the price shortly after my order and payment so cancelled it as they wanted more money which is disingenuous when you have entered into a contract at a price and paid for the product.

To be balanced I do actually think they have a good product range and you will probably get far better advice and expertise than from a high street tech retailer. I also think when it goes well that most people will have not problems but unfortunately I tend to judge companies by how they behave when things go wrong and in this case very badly. So my advice, don't rule them out but pay using a credit card and be prepared for the sort of scenario I outlined above if it goes wrong. The reviews seem to reflect this in that lots of top reviews not a lot in the middle and then a not insignificant bunch of really bad reviews not dissimilar to mine.

Hi Johnathan, this was nothing to do with pricing. We never wanted more money and I appreciate it might have been confusing for you by the lack of response. It in fact was a significant event that took place for us as a family. I made the decision to allow my family some time off, we are a family business. I have never done this in 25 years and I am sorry it resulted in your having concerns.

Just Projectors gives excellent service.

I have used this company in the past and their website is easy to follow and understand. Pricing is up to date and fair. Ordering is easy to follow and understand. Delivery was on time. Basically excellent service all round, well done, Just Projectors.

Just Projectors did really well but

Just Projectors did really well but, one small glitch....the 105" motorised screen came with a European plug (even the plug icons on the side of the packaging cardboard box was 'ticked' with the European two pin plug). I cut the wire and added a three-pin plug. Other than that, great job, communication and the admin checked with me that I had ordered the right size.

I have reviewed your order and I can first apologise for us not sending you tracking information, we normally do and this was an oversight.

On these orders we make it clear that it is a 3 week lead time. The salient points are

- ordered 7/7
- we asked you on the 7/7 to check the screen sizes to ensure that they were right- no response
- we asked again on the 8/7 - no response
- we asked again on the 16/7 and received a response on the 18th.

We then ordered the screen - up until that point we as mentioned on our email . we cannot process the order. We do this as multiple times customers struggle with their sizes and this email avoids costly return fees and wasted time.

We now have an estimated delivery date on the 31/7, which will be within the 3 week period

Lee. please can you review the number of stars, this damages our business and although we did not send you the tracking information. I do believe we have acted in you best interest
